Great location - I needed a sports massage and there was one just 100m away! Walkable.. restaurants and mall next to the location! Highly recommended.. and they allowed super late checkout

Simon's place was all we needed, lovely and secure apartment within the vibey Rosebank area. Very convenient with lots to do within a short walk. Simon was a very responsive host as well, I would recommend this stay to anyone looking for a hustle free stay.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Sally’s lovely Airbnb, and I can’t recommend it highly enough. From the moment I arrived, Sally was incredibly welcoming and made me feel right at home. The highlight of this property, however, has to be the tranquil, serene garden. It’s a beautifully maintained oasis of calm and relaxation. The garden is a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The accommodation itself was cozy, clean, and thoughtfully equipped with everything I needed. If you’re looking for a serene retreat with a friendly and accommodating host, this is the place for you. I’m already looking forward to my next stay!

This was our first time in Johannesburg and Anita helped it to be very special. She was a great hostess. Anytime we needed anything she had no problem assisting us. She gave us information about sightseeing in the area, restaurants, great farmer's markets and much more. My sister was visiting from Rome, Italy and Anita speaks Italian, so that was a special surprise for my sister. Anita also has a basketball hoop, which my 10 year old granddaughter loved, she also gave her games and drawing supplies. My granddaughter had a great time. We highly recommend Anita's beautiful cottage and great hospitality, and would surely book it again.

A very big shout out to Aniss and his entire crew for such an amazing and spotless place, all amenities mentioned were available and they even provided extra toiletries, extra towels, extra pillows, flat iron working well, a backup power back was provided in case of load shedding which I never experienced. All the kitchen ware you will ever needed was provided. Basically I would live comfortably and happily at Anis place for an entire year with no complains. I have a video for vivid videos on my TikTok (monicaslifejournal). 10/10

Stewart met us upon our arrival and went out of his way to make us feel right at home. We were left to enjoy the privacy and peacefulness of the beautiful quaint cottage and the animals that lived on the premises. It was absolutely perfect for what we needed for our 2 day stay in Johannesburg, with the location also perfect as everything we needed was within a 10 minute drive. We will definitely return!

The house was very beautiful and spacious. The host was also very welcoming and generous, my family and I had a great stay. The neighbourhood is so quiet and close to malls for stocking up on things you need!

Sean’s property was amazing and exceeded our expectations! The check-in instructions, the directions to the property the landscaping, his decoration details were absolutely top-notch. Sean gave us beautiful dining recommendations that were home runs left and right. When he found out that we were headed to Durban after leaving his place, he once again gave us beautiful dining recommendations for Durban as well. Sean happened to check on us to see if we enjoyed Durban and when I told him we were in Cape Town then once again, he gave us more recommendations!!😉 The house has an open floor plan and I appreciate the time he took to decorate and layout his property. The patio in the backyard was also beautiful. This is in a gated community and is very walkable/runnable. If you’re visiting Joburg, do yourself a favor and book this property. Top tier host Sir! We’ll be back!

Wonderful short stay at Ingrids place. Pristine accomodation in beautiful suburb with easy access to transport/e hailing services. Host is super friendly and attended to all my needs.

Kim was really great and friendly. She communicated very well during my stay and was helpful. The cottage was clean and had a beautiful touch of furniture that was unique. The cottage is very spacious and has all the amenities you require to stay. Thank you so much Kim for a lovely stay.

The most comfortable bed we slept in during our South African stay! Quality appliances, comfortable furnishings. A great patio for outdoor eating and braaing, and a lovely garden for the kids to play in. The host was amazingly responsive and helpful. Would highly recommend and we will certainly stay here again on future trips.

Wonderful, wonderful stay! Lovely little studio with everything one could need. Felt like a peaceful oasis in the middle of the city. I left the door to the wonderful patio and pool open the whole time. Jen was a lovely host. Very welcoming, available when needed without impinging on the quiet privacy of the studio. She was very proactive with information about the electricity cuts which were taking place when I was there. Lots of power outlets suited for Eurpean plugs. Great bed! So cozy, quiet, peaceful. Thank you so much!

What a wonderful opportunity to stay at Sally’s place. They are such a beautiful couple and absolutely helpful. The cottage is amazing, beautiful, peaceful and very quiet. If you need a quiet place for reflection and peaceful place to get your thoughts together or write a book, Sally’s place is the place. If you like running in the morning or walking the neighborhood is beautiful and safe. Thank you again sally for such an amazing host. See you another time.

If you ever visit Joburg and would like to feel right at home, I'd highly recommend staying at Charl's place. His home is exactly as described in the photos listed and it is very safe, peaceful and comfortable. I felt right at home and cooked breakfast in his kitchen everyday during my stay before I started my day. He also has two adorable dogs who are so sweet and friendly are are happy to keep you company. All in all, a great place to stay on your visit to Joburg.

Debbie was a fantastic host, nothing was to much bother, home away from home. Beautiful studio appt with kitchenette, which had, bar fridge, microwave, kettle & toaster. TV with netflix. Thornhill Estate, very secure & safe to walk around. Flamingo shopping center within walking distance, pizza, pasta restaurant, Gratitude with sold sushi, chicken, steak. Checkers, woolworths, dishes. Small restaurant that's did breakfasts, lunch, some smaller shops as well. Would mist definitely recommend Debbie's place, you won't be disappointed Will most definitely be staying again. Thank you Debbie for making our stay so enjoyable. Christine & Bob xx

My family of five had a wonderful time at Mini’s place. It was peaceful and a perfect fit for us when we hosted our parents as well. It was very spacious and Mini went above and beyond to help us feel at home. We were particularly grateful for her prompt communication and local recommendations.

Renate's place was perfect for what I needed. The location is unbeatable - walking distance from everything one might need. The room is cozy and includes entertainment and a corner to work. The showers were great with perfect water pressure. The patio was also nice and felt private. Host Renate was incredibly kind and helpful. She goes above and beyond for her guests and ensures you are comfortable. This was an A+ stay all the way.

I definitely loved and felt like I was at home . Marleen have all the necessary items needed for home use I was even able to decorate a wedding cake with her hand mixer while I had mine . I was really impressed with all the small details like tea, milk ,sugar,shower gel, detergent like she had all the emergency stuff u will need if u couldn’t buy or forget .

Kobus has a very tidy and lovely AirBnb apartment equipped with everything you need (Netflix, a good bed, nice bathroom). Kobus gave us clear instructions and the location was central to our requirements. Great value for money.
