We had a great time staying here. The location is great and made it easy to visit the state park. The view is beautiful!! We loved the back patio! Enjoyed grilling dinners and getting in the hot tub after our hikes. The host was very helpful and responsive.

Place is exactly as described and in pictures, in fact, I believe even better. Mediterranean feel but in a cabin overlooking canyon. Seems remodeled or at least very well kept up, beautiful platform outside to take in special canyon view. All amenities needed in house. Grab groceries prior to getting to cabin since it is about 10-15 miles away from local markets and restaurant. Overall, great!

Perfect place to stay while visiting Palo Duro. The “rustic” cabin was thoroughly modern. Small, but perfect for two, and with everything we needed. The view is truly stunning, and it is very well located, just minutes to the park. Bedding was super comfortable, too.

The house was exceptionally clean and was a GREAT location with a GREAT view! We took two elementary age kids and two dogs and everyone enjoyed it. The views were excellent. The kids had an area to play (swings, climbing pole, horseshoes, etc.) right by the house. The walking path was great for all of us in the evening. We also enjoyed seeing some of the wildlife in the area. The host was available through the entirity of the booking and stay. We would not hesitate to stay again and have already recommended to friends/family!

We will definitely be back, but with family and friends! Gorgeous, scenic views of the magical canyon; immaculately clean space; beautifully decorated and cozy. Kevin and Raquel were great communicators, very responsive and proactive in making sure we had everything we needed. Kitchen and bathroom were fully stocked, but be sure to bring your own extra coffee, creamer/sugar, pantry staples and BINOCULARS! We wished we had brought ours! The upstairs loft had spectacular views, and our kids would have loved it. The beds were extremely comfortable and cozy. We can’t wait to come back!

The Durango Cabin is amazing! The view from the patio and bedroom is unbeatable. The sunrise over the canyon is spectacular and the patio is a great private place to enjoy the view after a day of hiking. The cabin was perfect for our weekend getaway.

Perfect place for my mom and I to stay on our spring break trip to Caprock Canyons SP. It had everything we needed, heat and AC worked great (we used both during the time we were there - crazy Texas weather!) The cabin was very clean, and the food truck on site was convenient. We enjoyed sitting watching the sunset from the little front porch. Highly recommend!

Lovely location and cabin. Extremely well equipped and lots personal touches by the Owner. The layout is best for a close couple (2 people) - as the loft space with the additional beds is difficult to access - especially for nighttime bathroom runs. It was wonderful to be close to the various animals - horses / chickens / goats, etc.

We were so glad we decided to stay in Rustic Highland at Palo Duro Canyon. Communication was excellent and every message was answered very quickly. The cabin was very comfortable and the beds were fantastic. We used the kitchen quite a bit and it was equipped with every item you need to cook a meal...pots, pans, utensils, appliances, etc. The grill was an excellent addition and we used it for supper one evening. It was great to have the washer and dryer. I did several loads of laundry while we were there. The location is breathtaking. I spent a long time sitting on the patio one evening and it was so peaceful and relaxing. We had no trouble finding the cabin or accessing it. The cabin was clean and the linens were fresh and comfy. We spent a lovely day in the Canyon and enjoyed a picnic lunch surrounded by unrivaled beauty. And, we stopped by The Sad Monkey and had some drinks and played cards for awhile. We made some wonderful memories! And, definitely a five star AirBnB all the way!

The cabin was surrounded by a beautiful garden and looked out onto the private plains filled with rams who grazed nearby. We loved how close this was to the Palo Duro Canyon state park entrance! The yard games provided so much for the family! We just love this gem!
