Staying at Pauline & Jacques’s bed and breakfast is a real Northern VT treat. Breakfast each morning was so tasty, and a perfect way to start the day before heading to Jay Peak. Close by to restaurants and the mountain, it’s a perfect place to stay for your ski trip. The home made maple syrup is tasty, and it’s fun to get to see a little behind the scenes of how it happens. Good bed and pillows, good water pressure & clean drinking water round it all out.

We ABSOLUTELY loved our stay. Rob and John were very accommodating and made us feel right at home! The inn has so much history make sure you ask Rob about the “diamond legend”. Will certainly come back. Dimond in the rough!!!!

We had a great time with Pauline and Jacques. The area was just as convenient as we had hoped for a ski weekend at Jay Peak. We wanted to get on the road early and breakfast was prepared for us at 7:30 am. We happily left with a jug of maple syrup and look forward to staying there again!

It was a great place to stay while visiting Sutton . It’s about 5 min to town .

We had a short, but lovely time. The place is homy and cozy. Fresh pancakes in the morning was delicious :) Nice chatting with the people present. We will come back !

Super scenic lodge across the street from Lake Seymore. Tastefully decorated and furnished. Managed by the super charismatic Rob, who makes wonderful banana blueberry bread. The building is old, and the floors are uneven, squeaky, and charming. During our stay, about 2 feet of snow fell, but we never noticed while inside thanks to the roaring wood fire, which comfortably heated the whole lodge. The walls are a bit old and thin, and you'll definitely hear the neighbors next to you, but the neighborhood is quaint and quiet. This really is a great country getaway with legitimate cozy vibes. Derby and Newport are just a short drive away if you need to get into town, but once you've got your essentials, Rob helps you feel right at home at Lake Seymore Lodge.

Jean-Pierre est très aimable. Il est toujours prêt à accommoder en nous prêtant sa cuisine. Il aime définitivement les gens qui vont chez lui, il est attentionné et tout ce qu’il nous laisse à déjeuner le prouve. C’est diversifié et au-delà du strict minimum. Un gros merci!

Jean Pierre is a very friendly and accommodating host. We weren't expecting breakfast but he had lovely continental breakfast food and coffee for us. We didn't realize that the kitchen isn't a normal part of the rental but he was very accommodating to our needs and offered for us to use his kitchen. He told us he plans on doing a reno in the summer to make a kitchenette for guests. Very nice guy. Very nice house.

We stayed at Woodshed for two nights. It was very peaceful and comfortable stay. It is very close to Jay Peak resort for skiing and ski shop Snow Jobs. Our hosts were very gracious and helpful. The breakfast was delicious.

Our first trip to Canada, two elderly people, a child, and our couple, the three-bedroom room was perfect for us. Because of the heavy snow, we checked in later than expected, and the landlord was waiting to greet us. It felt like visiting a friend's house, and the room was warm and cozy. For our questions, they gave timely and detailed responses, and took the initiative to help us find restaurants and places for children to play. If you like a quiet and comfortable environment, this is your best choice.

If you want to ski at Jay and skip all the other stuff, get a good nights sleep, wake up early to an amazing breakfast and great coffee, and easily get to the mountain for first chair, and then sit in a hot tub under the stars with your own beverage from the refrigerator inside the kitchen that you can also use, then this is your place to stay! Feels like you’re at home but someone else is doing all the chores!

Florence is an amazing hostess! She literally welcomed us with opened arms! She was able to give us an earlier check in, as we had arrived a bit early. She was generous with everything in her home. We had purchased some cheeses that day and she stored them in her refrigerator. We were comfortable coming and going as we wanted to and she gave us local recommendations. There was a nice pool area that she welcomed us to. The bed and room were very comfortable and the shower was wonderful. There was another couple staying there, Florence introduced us and we all sat together and had a lovely visit over a very nice breakfast. Our visit could not have been more pleasant.

We stayed here after our day trip to Owl Head, the local ski resort. It was the perfect bed and breakfast. The host was so accommodating and provided a really fun and unique breakfast. The whole house has an adorable charm to it, complimented by the cute town it is located in.

Geneviève est très accueillante, c’était très propre, le spa a été bien apprécié! Malgré notre réservation dernière minute, tout était parfait! Nous recommandons à 100%!!
