Annie was an amazingly friendly and approachable host. She recommended some lovely ealking routes for us to explore the area and a womderful local pub. We will most definitely be back and would thoroughly recommend to anyone wanting peace and quiet to escape busy daily life.

I have so many great things to say, so to keep it short I'll bullet point. - Great location/community - Private - Friendly and responsive hosts - Clear instructions and tour - Clean and comfortable - Felt very welcomed - Also a bonus of a cat that sounds like a sheep :) Planning to go again, later this year. Would highly recommend

We didn't want to return home as we had had the perfect stay. This lovely little shepherd's hut surrounded by beautiful farmlands, was just what we'd hoped for and it didn't disappoint! Our hosts Peter and Rachel, were very responsive to our needs, although, gave us our privacy and let us explore the surrounding areas. The hut had lots of little touches to it that made it feel homely and cute, although, functional and great use of a small space. We were pleasantly surprised to find that the hut had heating, wifi and a range of options on the tv after a tiring day of adventures! Excellent stay, would absolutely return, thank you! Absolutely loved our stay! We will absolutely be back. Such beautiful Shepard's huts and so close to everything, yet hidden away! My 2 year old daughter loved sleeping in 'Peter rabbits house' and waiting for her egg and sausage bap in the morning. Thank you

I had a lovely few nights at Franks place, great hosts. A cosy shepherds hut with all the amenities you need readily accessible in a peaceful location. I had a lovely time looking at the stars from the deck outside with the fire going to keep warm. Breakfast was amazing, croissant with jams, fruit and yoghurt bought to the hut, with everything you needed to make a tea or coffee already there. Would definitely stay again if passing through the area.

This place is heavenly! Super friendly and helpful host, they provide everything you need and more for a relaxing a country getaway. It's wonderful having the sound of the river next to you and really joyful watching the animals mooch about. Especially the Indian runner ducks, they're great fun. I would be back here in a heart beat, thank you!

Thanks for such a wonderful stay! Such a cosy clean and comfy cabin with everything we needed! Was perfect to wind down for the weekend with the outside space and hot tub with a beautiful view. Blankets were provided to cosy up around the camp fire and marshmallows which was such a nice addition. The goats were amazing, food to feed them and they were so friendly. Everything you need for a weekend away. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend!!

This was probably one of the best Airbnb's we've stayed in, the photos don't do it justice! The place was spotless and had everything you could need. Lots of local taxis available to take you into Wells (10 mins max) where there are plenty of lovely pubs & restaurants. The hot tub was amazing, very easy to use and the hut was much bigger than we expected! Lou was an incredible host, so welcoming and hospitable, always replying super quickly to any questions and very clear instructions. If you are looking for a rural, peaceful, fun get away, we couldn't recommend this enough!

Jenny was a great host! The Cabin was spotless on arrival! Very cosy and well equipped... As previous guests had noted the bed is super comfy!! The outside area for dogs is brilliant. Definitely recommend the Culm Valley Inn! Fantastic atmosphere - delicious home cooked food - 15 min walk. Strand Stores serve an incredible breakfast and sell high quality local produce! We also enjoyed a nice day out at Sidmouth beach..

Claire was the most amazing host from start to finish, all the beautiful touches in the shepherds hut were just so well designed and thought out, including a lovely bottle of fizz. The hot tub was all lit and ready for us to get in as soon as we arrived., we visited a couple of the local pubs which were absolutely delightful serving beautiful food. I totally recommend the Plough and the Hood inn, both only a couple of minutes away. The location of the Shepherds hut was just perfect far enough out of the way it was so peaceful and quiet but close enough to only be 20 minutes away from the M5. We have recommended this to a few of our friends and we will definitely be returning. Thank you for making the stay so perfect.

Beautiful place to stay - completely private and quiet. The hot tub and pizza making top off a stunning little getaway. All the lovely little touches and attention to detail made it feel really special and not ‘just’ an Airbnb but a luxury getaway. Luca was brilliant. Thank you for a magical stay.

Absolutely loved our stay at the Blue Hut! From the moment we arrived, everything was spotless—seriously one of the cleanest places we’ve ever stayed. The hut itself was so cute and cozy, with beautiful little touches throughout. The views were absolutely stunning and made for the perfect peaceful escape. Jayne, the host, was beyond amazing—super attentive and kind. She went out of her way to surprise my partner for their birthday, and it meant the world to us. You can tell she genuinely cares about her guests having the best experience possible. From thoughtful details to helpful recommendations, Jayne truly went above and beyond. The atmosphere was so warm and welcoming, we instantly felt at home. We honestly didn’t want to leave and are already thinking about when we can come back. Dilly’s place was lovely! Quiet in the beautiful countryside. She was very accommodating, in fact, an exceptional host all round! Kind and considerate and the place itself is simply divine! I’d come back in a heartbeat.

Had a lovely time celebrating our wedding anniversary. Very peaceful area, lovely set up with shepherds hut/kitchen garden, and hot tub pre heated ready for our arrival!

Beautiful rural getaway!! Chloe was so helpful with making sure the hot tub was ready for the evenings, the shepherds hut was a perfect escape for us as a couple, with beautiful views, privacy and a very cute lodging with everything we needed. The furnishings and details in the shepherds hut were so lovely and made a very small space feel like a cosy home. Super easy to find and enjoyed a couple of nice walks in the area. Will book again!

The Rumple Hut was perfect. Comfortable bed, very clean, and had everything you need for a short break away. Lovely quiet area. The hot tub was great too and perfect for star gazing! The extra fresh bread, scones and gin were a lovely surprise treat too!

Really enjoyed our stay. Beautiful hut which was clean and spacious. Had all the appliances needed and bonus coffee machine. TV was a smart Tv so able to enjoy films on Netflix. The views were beautiful. Such a peaceful place, within a few minutes drive of Bridport. Host Sammy was brilliant with recommendations and information about the local area. Will absolutely return for another short quiet hideaway!!
