I have so many great things to say, so to keep it short I'll bullet point. - Great location/community - Private - Friendly and responsive hosts - Clear instructions and tour - Clean and comfortable - Felt very welcomed - Also a bonus of a cat that sounds like a sheep :) Planning to go again, later this year. Would highly recommend

Stunning accomodation for our 2 night stay. Extras such as travel cot and high chair very helpful as travelling with our 11 month old. The hot tub was a particularly highlight and the cabin was super cosy 😍 we struggled to find the location based on the postcode alone but Edward had provided detailed instructions before arriving. Thank you for a great stay!

The shepherds hut is a wonderful retreat into a peaceful and very relaxing world where you can take life at your own pace. This beautiful and secluded setting gives you the chance to be free. We spent many relaxing mornings and contemplative evenings relaxing in the garden both in and out of the hot tub, laying in the hammocks or just sitting on the recliners. The bed was super cosy and comfortable and with hidden storage under, bags and cases can be tucked away and we never felt cramped. Well equipped with a clever oven which is also a microwave we were happy to cook meals inside. As it was warm for April we also made use of the BBQ which had all tools provided. Fiona is a wonderful host who makes super cookies 😊 and provided a warm welcome. There if you need her but never intrusive.

A beautiful property in the peaceful, scenic Gloucestershire countryside. Host Antonia was fantastic with excellent communication and helpful information. Would definitely recommend.

We really enjoyed our stay here! Our dogs absolutely loved the space and it was perfect for them to really stretch their legs. The cabin was super cozy, we stayed during a bit of a temperature drop so it was around -3 at night but the log burner was so warm we didn't even need a jumper on! Along with the temperature drop came some snow and we actually ended up getting stuck on the hill on toward the entrance but Mark answered his phone immediately and rushed down in his Land Rover to give us a tow up and nothing was too much to ask, we felt super accommodated. Thanks again :)

We had such a nice stay at Happy on the Hill. The views were beautiful the wagon was super cozy and the bath was the icing on the cake. Neil was super responsive and helpful giving us walking recommendations and places to see but also gave us our space and to relax and enjoy the peace and quiet. We would happily come back again!

A beautiful little spot. The cabin is quirky, functional and cosy and where it is just beautiful. The views are lovely, walkable to the Tor and into Glastonbury absolutely perfect for a chilled no car couple of days. Thank you.

Great place to explore Wiltshire and enjoy company of cats and pheasants. - Visit to Frome is a must if you are into crafts + bakery in the church has amazing danishes and bread - Many points of interest are really close - Cosy place with all amenities you might need for your stay

We enjoyed a calm and relaxing stay. The hut was clean and well presented and we really enjoyed the scones, jam and cream when we arrived! I received some upsetting news during our stay but this was the perfect environment to help me feel calmer. The space feels very private and we felt at home. It was so lovely to see the chickens and ducks running about and to sit on the bench by the river. We would recommend to anyone 😊

This was probably one of the best Airbnb's we've stayed in, the photos don't do it justice! The place was spotless and had everything you could need. Lots of local taxis available to take you into Wells (10 mins max) where there are plenty of lovely pubs & restaurants. The hot tub was amazing, very easy to use and the hut was much bigger than we expected! Lou was an incredible host, so welcoming and hospitable, always replying super quickly to any questions and very clear instructions. If you are looking for a rural, peaceful, fun get away, we couldn't recommend this enough!

Lovely little place! I arrived fairly late, the lights was turned on so it made it very easy to get in. Had a cup of hot chocolate on the porch while I turned the heater on inside to warm up the place before going to bed. Very peaceful and all-around great stay!

We had an amazing stay and we're already planning on returning, for longer next time. Our host could not have been more welcoming, the accommodation was perfect with loads of nice touches that really set this apart from stays we've had elsewhere. The local area is stunning, with some great walks right on the doorstep. Highly recommend visiting Sherborne as well, a beautiful town, and the Abbey is stunning.

What a perfectly exquisite hideaway for one or 2 people. Beautiful garden and amazing views of the church. Totally private and secluded. 15 mins walk to the seafront. Bed was incredibly comfortable and it was very homely. Immaculately laid out and well presented and decorated.

Chris and Natalie’s place was perfect for our weekend stay, very clean and easy to find, Chris was very friendly and helpful to make sure we had a great weekend, would definitely stay again if I’m in the area ☺️

Fab little shepherds hut with everything you need for a short but comfortable stay. Everything was well organised and clean with thoughtful touches and lovely decor. Hannah didn’t meet us, but they live in the house and were around, but left us alone. Would highly recommend and would stay again if in the area. We enjoyed nice curry at the local Indian restaurant and there were a couple of nearby conveniences.

We had a wonderful stay at the hay trailer. The place was the perfect location. A great getaway! So lovely and peaceful. Sophie was a great host and was always responsive with any queries we had.

Treated myself to an overnight stop in the Shepherd's Hut & it was perfect. Everything I needed within the compact space - very well thought out. Only staying one night I didn't have time to explore the area other than a quick walk to the pretty church. Great location for the marshes had I had more time.

The Shepherds Hut was lovely and the surrounding garden beautiful. Really enjoyed our stay. Everything was as described and the information pack sent through before we arrived was very useful. We were lucky with the weather but it wasn’t quite cold enough to take advantage of the wood burner! Managed a long cycle ride - the 2 tunnels route, beware the hills on your return! Would definitely recommend staying here!

Have returned home after a couple of days stay here, The place was exactly as described, Beautiful setting, peaceful and plenty to do with in close proximity of where we were. We made use of the bbq, weather was on our side! Waking up to the deers in the garden was a nice bonus. Joe was a really nice host and responsive with questions. Highly recommend staying here

We had the most wonderful stay here! This hut has everything you need for a cosy weekend away. We brought our own chilli con carne and heated it up on the camping gas stove, lit the fire outside and watched the sunset. It was the perfect getaway! The bed was also really comfy which is a huge bonus. Annette and George were great hosts. I am sure we will be back!!
