We had a wonderful time at Mary’s and Royce’s cabin. The cabin looks exactly like the photos. It’s extremely comfortable and one feels right a home. We loved sitting in the spa and looking up at the stars. Mary and Royce were very responsive to our needs. Their property is just beautiful. It’s a great place for a getaway.

Overall, the place was amazing! My wife loved all the trees and scenery. She took a bath on the deck every night. It was very peaceful and private. I personally felt like the inside was a little small. The sauna was nice but it takes up half of the lodge. If the weather was cold or raining like did while we were there, there wasn’t much to inside. There isn’t really a seating area (unless you count the sauna) or tv. Quinn was very helpful whenever we had a question and was quick to respond and resolve any issues. The lodge is great for a couple who is trying to get away, unplug and relax. 5 stars!

Super cozy cottage. Gorgeous view. Sound of ocean is amazing. Comfortable master bedroom, cute bunk bed room. Loved the wood burning stove.

We had a great stay for a cozy girls weekend. It was a nice relaxing retreat.

This is a charming place, beautifully kept with lovely furnishings. We really enjoyed the well appointed kitchen as we cooked every day. The yard and gardens are beautifully kept, peaceful and serene. Oranges growing right outside the house! We were in town for a wedding, and Santa Rosa is right in the middle of so many enjoyable things to do. We hiked on the CCT out past Bodega Bay, enjoyed restaurants in Healdsburg, visited the redwoods and shopped at the Barlow in Sebastopol. Thank you Cheryl for sharing your lovely home. We had a fabulous time!

This was a perfect spot for a personal retreat. I loved everything from the decor to the comfy bed to the private hot tub and well tended garden. I would love to come back again.

Great location, right on the river! Centrally located with an easy drive to the coast (Bodega Bay), to wine tasting (Napa and Sonoma), to Armstrong Redwoods and to the City (SF). Enjoyed the warmth of the cozy fireplace and hot tub too. This is a charming little cottage which was stocked with all the comforts of home. We appreciate a rental with a comfortable bed and nice bedding which was present at this property. The host was easily reachable and responded quickly. Wonderful stay! Side note: If you are easily prone to motion sickness, be prepared as the roads in the area are pretty curvy.

We couldn't agree more with the glowing reviews from previous guests! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warmth and hospitality - there was a fire waiting for us, a bottle of wine, and fresh eggs. It's truly the perfect escape. The stunning views, combined with the peaceful and private setting, made our stay unforgettable. Marykate was incredibly thoughtful, ensuring we had everything we needed. We spend three blissful nights soaking in the beauty, reading, cooking and just unwinding. It was the perfect retreat and we can't wait to return!

Wow! This spot was such a gem. Super cozy spot nestled among the redwoods. It's clear that the owners have put a lot of love into the house. Every detail is comfortable and inviting. The location could not be more beautiful and peaceful. The light shining in through the fog and the redwoods in the morning is a special treat. We will definitely be returning - and we are excited to recommend Rascal's Flat to friends.

Our weekend getaway @ Linda's in Middletown was wonderful! The cottage was comfortable, the backyard and surrounding nature was beautiful, and Linda was a very welcoming host. Our dog had a wonderful time too :)

Absolutely loved my stay with my dog! Such a cozy space, had everything I would want and then some! So many lovely touches. And nestled in the redwoods. Hot tub at sunset was lovely!

This home is absolutely beautiful! The outside is gorgeous and relaxing. The outdoor patio and hot tub are amazing! The location is also fabulous. We went to the Bothe-Napa state park and the Castello di Amorosa both of which were only 15min away as is downtown Calistoga which is really cute. We really enjoyed our stay!! The only slightly problematic feature is the toilet, it doesn’t really work.

This is a lovely and comfortable place to stay, out of the way and quiet, which was perfect for us. Collin was helpful and friendly, reaching out to see if we needed anything that wasn't provided (we didn't!). We will definitely come back if we're in the area again.

We had a wonderful time at Carolyn’s place. We loved spending a day on her deck overlooking the lake - so beautiful. We also took advantage of her fire table out front. She also had a sturdy fold out table for dining - we initially didn’t see it in the pictures but she actually had everything we needed to enjoy a full meal around a table. Bonus points that we could fold it away for more space when not using! Carolyn was also very responsive and checked in daily on how we were doing. Would love to come back!

We had a great time staying here. The property is very thoughtfully decorated. Karen was easy to communicate with and had great recommendations written down in a binder for us. The outdoor space is amazing with easy access to the river. We would love to return during the summer months.

Five stars! This house was amazing and the hosts have gone all out. The house feels like a home in all of the best ways. Everything is new and clean and beautiful. The kitchen is stocked like no other Airbnb I've been in! They may be the most thoughtful hosts I've experienced - with a guidebook website, staples like eggs and butter supplied, and checking in over email to see if everything is good. I will be back for sure!

Enjoyed our stay here. Felt safe with the gated entrance. Location's great about a 12 minute drive to Healdsburg. Great space layout and enjoyed the fireplace in the living room.

Such a peaceful, clean, and quiet place to stay. Perfect for relaxing in the morning and at night and exploring Mendocino and endless different hikes nearby during the day. Jacquelyn was a very kind and accommodating host. You can tell a lot of love and care has gone into creating this space and it was perfect for a little getaway to be among nature and to slow things down. This place is set up for you to relax. Jacquelyn offered some great recs and I ended up checking almost all of them out. Great location - truly won't run out of options for hikes and beach visits. Definitely recommend checking out Fog Eater in downtown Mendocino...best meal I've had in a long time and the owners are so sweet. Reheated some beignets for breakfast with my coffee on the back porch. *magic*

We enjoyed our time here. It is very rural, quiet and peaceful. Laytonville is a small town so the grocery store is very basic. It is only about 10 minutes away and open until 11. We were traveling with small children and arrived later in the day. The kids were hot and hungry and we had not had a chance to get food. The woman handling check in had a plate of fruit and was incredibly gracious to share to help keep them going until we could run in and grab groceries. She also called ahead to confirm how late they would be open. (4th of July) The walk to the private lake is not difficult and there are multiple kayaks you can use. In addition, it was during an incredible heatwave and there were regular check-ins to make sure all was well and everyone had water. There is no air conditioning but there are many fans that helped it cool off at night. Any issues or concerns were dealt with timely and appropriately. The service was truly above and beyond.

We loved our stay at Ashley's! She was very communicative and answered our questions right away. The location is amazing as it is right on the river and across the street from such an incredible beach! We would love to stay here again if we are in the area :)

Second year for a one month. stay. The experience was as awesome as ever! Can't beat a perfectly furnished cabin, peaceful & private with a 24/7 view of the ocean. It is so comfortable it is like a second home for me. There are only wonderful things to say about Knix's cabin.

We had the most incredible stay at Tom's Redwood Oasis, Cottage C! It looked cute on Airbnb, but honestly, it’s even more charming in person. The cabin is perfectly thought out with everything you need for a cozy, peaceful getaway. It’s incredibly private, which made it feel like our own little slice of paradise. Our pups had an absolute blast exploring the property, and we couldn’t have been happier. The hot tub under the towering redwoods was pure magic – there’s really nothing like soaking in the warmth while surrounded by nature. We ended up never wanting to leave the property because it was so relaxing and peaceful. We will absolutely be back, likely every year for our anniversary. Highly recommend this spot if you're looking for a secluded, rejuvenating retreat!

Joshua’s place is amazing! It’s comfortable and clean, but the views, the stars! Wow! It’s so peaceful and there is lots of room to explore. The home is decorated so cute and was very cozy. We really enjoyed the wildlife that roamed the property. This really is a special place and we look forward to returning.

5/5 would recommend to anyone! Our cabin was so cozy and it was such a treat to look out and see giraffes every morning! My only caution for potential guests is that going into the cabin requires going through two gates (and getting out of the car to get one) so it is never a fast process. But it's a small concession for such a neat, beautiful, and comfy place to stay 😊
