Captain Jacks is a great place to stay, right on the beach you don’t really need to leave. Everything was as described, we had air conditioning issue in one room but Patricia kept us in the loop and compensated us for the inconvenience, and also arranged airport transfers x 2 for our family which was fabulous. The pancakes of a morning are delicious and a real treat. The first day we had monkeys and they left for the remainder of our stay, they are cheeky brats but we missed them when they left lol. No better place to watch sunset than at the cafes on the beach and watching the waves roll in from the living area is something else.

I can’t stop thinking about the amazing days I spent here! I will sure come back to stay much longer. Your place and YOU are amazing! Thanks for setting everything up for me last minute. Boat tickets, tours, shuttles, dinner, breakfast, everything! You are absolutely awesome. Your husband and daughter too. I want to live thereeeee! 🩵🩵🩵

Our time here was absolutely amazing. What a wonderful and peaceful lodge to live in, surrounded by beautiful gardens at the seafront and the daily life of the locals. It was soo chill. And the accommodation was excellent! And the best of all, the surf was right outside our door. ( great waves, and not crowded). The breakfast was perfect every morning always including a variety of fresh and exotic fruits, which kept us going during the early surf session. Kadek was always pleasant, humble, and helpful and made sure we had everything we needed from surf instructor, scooter and whatever. Thank you soo much, Kadek for nice talks and being forthcoming and cheerful. Also, his cat Madu kept us company most of the time, which was very pleasant. (P.S: Madu front flips when she enjoy the snuggle). The only downside was that the Mosque nearby made some noise during the early hours and bed time, but we solved that with earplugs which Kadek provided We are definitely coming back 🙂

We had a separate guide, so we did not have direct communication with him, but he was very kind. The lodging was clean as shown in the pictures and the view was very nice. I highly recommend this lodging!

We stayed at Water Blow Huts for a week and it was a great experience! Amazing view, amazing host and staff, wonderful (a bit wavy) beach in a few minutes walk Very responsive staff that’s ready to help with all your needs, especially with the taxi transportation around the island A bit far from local restaurants, but you always can eat at the hotel itself for extra price (breakfast is for free here) The transfer is also included in the price and was extremely comfortable as well I’d definitely recommend it! The house was beautiful. We went for a vacation with 13 family members and it was perfect for us as we rented the entire Villa. The house was clean and spacious. It's a beach facing villa with pool access. The host was helpful and friendly. Oka is a sweet host who was always responsive.

I’m already recommending I Putu’s place to friends. The location is incredible and Putu and his family are so helpful. Would definitely stay here again if I go back to Nusa Penida

Great place to stay with lots of left overs from previous tenants like spices in the kitchen. Daily cleaning is included in price although not really necessary but very appreciated. Comfy beds, great pool what else do you wanna hear. Just stay here 😉

La maison est belle et spacieuse, avec une mezzanine charmante et de nombreux livres passionnants sur l’Indonésie à disposition. À l’extérieur, mais à l’abri des regards, se trouve une salle de bain luxueuse où l’on se douche au milieu des plantes! Rien ne manque dans la petite cuisine qui est très plaisante. Le grand balcon offre une vue époustouflante, extraordinaire sur une vallée de rizières. La vue, les chants d’oiseaux, ont été un enchantement. Cet endroit est unique. La piscine, spectaculaire, se trouve devant le salon des propriétaires. Annette est toujours très réactive, elle a répondu à chacune de mes demandes, j’ai reçu les informations et conseils requis. Le ménage est effectué tous les jours en fin de matinée. Je suis très heureuse d’avoir séjourné à la maison des “Singing Bamboos” et remercie de l’accueil reçu.

The bungalow was simply but tastefully and authentically furnished. It has great visual appeal. The view from the patio over the rice fields was lovely. We were surprised first morning by ducks making their way up from one paddy to the other / amazing and beautiful. Great shower, great comfortable bed, kitchen and a short walk to mini mart’s restaurants etc

Beautiful location right in the heart of the jungle! Lovely restaurants and spas within walking distance. Kadek was so lovely and made us breakfast both morning. Bear in mind that grabs and gojecks are not allowed down this path which made it difficult for us when leaving with our bags (had to walk around 1km to the pick up point!) Also bear in mind this open bedroom is quite intense in terms of the bugs and the humidity! Two nights was enough for us. If you’re booking this make sure you have plenty of bug spray!!

great hideaway near loads of nice eateries on a relatively quiet street. friendly hosts and green surroundings. there was a bit of noise from the building site but it didn't disturb our sleep. would stay again
