Rocky Acres is a charming little cottage tucked in one of the few seemingly flat area up a mountain side. We were greeted with many deer the first morning there (around 15 or 16). I enjoyed petting amd talking to the horses there. Later on, we wandered up the path to the very large moss covered boulders there on the property. We found prickly pear cactus nestled in the moss there. This place seemed to be pulled from a fairytale. The house is just 10 mins or so from Desota Park and not very far at all from Desota Falls, Little River Falls,1 a and Fort Payne. GPS doesn't recognize the adress. It brought us to the end of the road, but no farther. However, Derek had sent detailed instructions, and we found the house with no problems. We had a minor problem come up, and Derek fixed it very quickly. The road to the house is steep and a bit rough, but we took it slow and made it fine. We definitely would stay here again.

awesome place to vist. the little River canyon and DeSoto Park is a must see. definitely will be coming back. The cabin and the hot tub was just what we needed for a few days. stromed the second day but still found time to explore before and the cabin to relax after. thank you for such an amazing place to stay.

This is a wonderful house that served our family of six extremely well. The house has the charm of an old house but the convenience of updated amenities. It's located in a very walkable neighborhood, just a few blocks from restaurants and coffee shops, but also easy to drive to local tourist attractions. The house was just as it appeared in the pictures, and was very clean when we arrived. Eugenia is a very responsive host and super easy to work with. We will definitely stay here on future trips to Chattanooga.

My family and I cannot stop talking about this place. We fell in love with it as soon as we drove up. The amount of space you have to roam outside between the yard, the creek and the hay fields...that place is MAGIC. We had some very happy pups and daughter. This cabin and it's property are stunning. We were so sad to leave. The fire pit and hot tub were also amazing. We did try our hand at disc golf too (we weren't good). I hope everyone gets to meet Jack! He is the friendliest of cats and loves to talk. We loved him! The amenities Sandy provided from dish soap, hairdryers and farm fresh eggs to all the makings for smores, help make this place feel like home. Thank y'all for everything! We hope to keep coming back!

My husband, furbabies & myself stayed at Jennies wonderful home for 10 days. The second we walked in we were in awe. So many special touches such as brownies from granny, dog bowls, dog treats, dog blankets ,dog beds for them & much We felt right at home right when we got there! Everything was extremely clean, king bed was insanely comfortable. Jennie has literally thought of everything to make this home feel like home including everything you need to cook, spices, down to laundry detergent etc. Literally just need to pack your clothes, stop by the store for groceries and you are set to go! We(&the furbabies) also enjoyed the peaceful huge backyard. Absolutely zero compliants especially with such a long stay. We couldn't find one thing wrong with her house. Jennie went above and beyond and is the sweetest host I have yet to meet(A+++ for Jennie) Location is great too with cute restaurants within a very short drive away. We 100% will be staying here again for a long stay again! Amazing

We can’t say enough how much we’ve enjoy the time we’ve stayed here. My husband and I have rented almost every log home and have enjoyed the experience of nature, peace & tranquility you just feel like you can touch a cloud. We’ve met the owner once she cares about making your stay as best as imaginable she’s very kind, also very quick with communication. They also provide a charging unit for your vehicle at no cost which is nice.. Soto Yoda

This place was amazing. Had everything we needed and more! My little girl loved the outside area, the swing set, tree swing, games in the outdoor seating area, and the dock. We felt right at home and appreciated the recommendation last for food and the drive in! We could not have found a better place to stay!

Beautiful house, well maintained and stocked with everything you may need for your stay and more , Very comfortable electric recling learher couches in living room, Comfortable mattresses in both bedrooms , kitchen has good appliances . This was our second stay here, we will always choose this place for our stay in this area. Thanks
