Guy was very nice and communicative, and the Hunkerdown Inn was a well-organized, cozy space. Any quirks of the Inn were thoroughly described by Guy, so there were no issues, and he was a fantastic host! The Inn being attached to the coffee shop/cafe was also a treat because the food and coffee there were great!

This was a great stay for us! Enough space for all of us to hang out comfortably, especially with access to the porch. We had a great time; Hinton is am underrated town, and the area is gorgeous.

A really great value! We found the space extremely cozy and enjoyed relaxing there during our ski trip.

We had a lovely stay - the apartment is spacious and has everything you could need and the view out of the patio is gorgeous. Pam and Joe were so friendly and our toddler loved getting to meet their sweet dog. It was a peaceful place to retreat to while visiting VT for a football game.

Kate's place had everything we needed. The apartment was clean and comfortable. The location was on a main road which made it noisy.

So much to say about this beautiful little home! Extremely clean & well decorated for it being over 70 years old. Our hosts were AMAZING and very responsive. We accidentally left a load of laundry & they were gracious enough to ship it to us. I don’t know of any hosts being that kind and sweet. Will definitely rent again & highly recommend!

This place was perfect for what my group needed. We were looking for a place to stay and relax that was close enough to easily get to and from Winterplace skiing and this was exactly what we were looking for. The place was very clean, comfortable, and we were even surprised by extra snacks and amenities. I would absolutely stay here again. Thanks for the great experience!

Was just there for the night but it was nice and quite and better for the 6 of us to stay at than a hotel so we could hang and have a good time. Host was very helpful and responsive.

We had a great weekend getaway at Gobi's Getaway. The place was very clean, plenty of room, and kitchen had everything we needed. There is plenty of parking for trucks and trailers for those coming to ride the trails. We will definitely book this place again. We ride in WV at least once a month and this is one of the nicest places we have stayed.

Great stay to ride the trails! Only downside was not having a hose to wash our machines after a muddy ride! Other than that the house was in good condition & we had an amazing trip as always! Looking forward to our next stay w/ the layman’s ☺️

What a beautiful place. What a quiet, peaceful getaway. The accommodations were very luxurious and spacious, with attention given to every detail, meeting all of our needs. Our host took extra measures to insure our stay was all that we expected. We enjoyed the beautiful views of the mountains, and loved watching the deer, turkeys and other wildlife. This is a very private, safe and relaxing place to let go of your busy life and step into an unforgettable time in the mountains of West Virginia. We have continued to talk of what a wonderful stay we had and look forward to our next visit.
