Beautiful, exactly as advertised, awesome amenities, pictures didn’t do justice to how great it was! Host was very responsive. Loved our stay and can’t wait to be back!

We last minute found this cabin for a quick getaway and it was absolutely what we needed. Dennis and Brittany were welcoming and so incredibly helpful with local recommendations. It was maple weekend and we arrived to a note of a few maple farms to check out. Some were within walking distance! Between the lake sunsets and maple farms within walking distance we felt right at home. They also were so helpful with local hike and restaurant recommendations in the area. We hope to come back in the summer with the kids to enjoy the beach and lake! Thank you again for your help with the perfect weekend away!

The house is great, beautiful view of Loon Pond, easy to find, a bit close to the road. The inside is like living in a family home. I mean knickknacks and family heirlooms everywhere. Travel books filling bookcases, grandma's handmaid pierced lampshades; it has all the kitchen utensils anyone would ever need, great game room downstairs, lots of water craft in the garage. While our kids are in the flew the coup category, this is an ideal place for middle/high school kids during summer. Gentle shallow slope into Loon Pond, which is really a good-sized lake. Cathy is extraordinarily responsive (IMHO) our example was a brief issue on arrival, she was about to make a long drive to resolve, fortunately it wasn't necessary, fixed itself! Response time was always in minutes We brought our two border collie dogs (they are like family) and outside, needed to keep them on leash due to road proximity. Our visit was late Sept, and we wanted to mostly go hiking, so did not do any water activity.

Rebecca was a super host who was proactive with instructions and quick to respond to my questions. The pictures and descriptions completely matched what was stated online. No bait and switch here. Looking forward to going up over the summer with my family.

My family and I had a great stay at this beautiful home. Everything you would need was provided. Just pack your clothes and toothbrush and you are all set. The house was even better than described, if that’s possible. The layout was perfect for gathering and just catching up. The beds were so comfortable. And the outside was even nicer. Lots of places to sit and relax. The lake was just a step away. Tanis was also very easy to communicate with. You can tell he really cared about our stay. We definitely enjoyed ourselves and will definitely be back!

This house is absolutely gorgeous and also feels very relaxing at the same time. The views from the house of the lake literally take your breath away. Ewa is very responsive and kind. She accommodated us in ways she really didn't need to and we appreciated that so much. Wifi is great at this house, if you need to work or have meetings. However, you may have issues with reception (depending on your carrier) in the area so be sure to write down directions before going! Also the street is really just the driveway and it's not marked so be sure to follow GPS to know when you have arrived! We would stay here again in a heartbeat. It's a great house for 2 families to stay together! And the basement with the pool table and ping pong - wow- what a bonus!!

Great spot in Gifford for a winter family ski vacation. The hosts were incredibly responsive and made our stay for the holidays very comfortable including Christmas stocking treats for our dog.

We had a great time! Tim's place was great. It was cute, with everything we needed, and had an amazing view. We were also pretty close from a few hikes. Tim was very good at communicating and we had no issues whatsoever. Would recommend!

We had a great stay at Jordan’s place! Everything was exactly as pictured, and it was very clean. Location is very convenient, we went up for a concert and it was only a 5 minute drive. It’s also a short drive to Weirs Beach and lots of great restaraunts.

Comfortable stay in a beautiful location. Heidi's was exactly what we expected and good value. The views in pretty much every direction from her home are just stunning this fall and we loved stepping outside each morning by quiet Opechee Lake. Our Labrador had a great time too with lots of space to run around.

Had a lovely longer-term stay here. The house is beautiful with classic old New England character but totally modern features inside. Walking distance to several walking trails and coffee shops and short drives to countless places for swimming, hiking, rock climbing, and walking. The hosts were extremely kind and accommodating. No complaints here, we had a wonderful stay!

Fantastic stay all around. There were a couple of things that were needed for our stay. Quality appliances (my wife wanted to bake for our daughter that we were visiting and fast, stable wifi (work meetings). The kitchen had everything we expected and after the first day the wifi settled down and was stable throughout the rest of the stay. We would definitely stay here again but would pay more attention to the surroundings. Most of the restaurants were closed because we went after summer and before winter, not much going on. However, it was very peaceful. Also, it should be noted that the ceilings are slanted (I assume this is the converted attic of the building), so taller persons may have an issue. I am 6' and my wife 5'7", we bumped into the ceiling in a couple of places but quickly learned. Not something I would deduct a star but a feature that is nice to know going in.

I was looking for a place to rest and that was perfect I would like to thank Bob for his hospitality and kindness, the place is very quiet, close to the lake, beach, restaurants and other towns. Thank you Bob and Jimmy

This condo was impeccably maintained and was very clean. Even the sheets smelt brand new! We were very pleased with our stay! We had an issue with our tv and the owners were on FaceTime with us late at night to try and rectify the issue without hesitation. 100% would stay here again.

A perfect little space in a perfect location. We had all of the amenities that we needed and a beautiful view. We can’t wait to go back!

Great little getaway! Nick and Tanya’s place was perfect for our family of 3. Super cozy, clean, and comfortable with everything we could have needed. Communication was stellar from booking to check out. Definitely recommend!

What a perfect cottage by the lake! My extended family had a house on Crystal Lake as a child, and visiting again was amazing! The cottage was super clean, cozy, well-stocked and quiet. It was the middle of a cold February, but it was warm and inviting inside. The hosts are responsive and responsible! I’ll hope to have another visit soon!

My husband, 15 year old son and I stayed at Jim & Janet’s cottage #5 last week. I could not recommend it more! We had the best time. The check In/check out process was smooth. Jim & Janet are wonderful, friendly hosts who are super communicative. The location of the cottage was amazing being directly on the lake. The grounds are absolutely beautiful. The access to the paddle boards and kayaks was great and made for a lot of fun days. The cottage’s close proximity to Alton Bay is also a plus because it’s such a cute and easy to navigate area with a few restaurants and great scenery. The hosts’ local recommendations were spot on. We couldn’t have asked for more with our stay. The cottage was the cleanest rental we’ve been in so far. We got so much in that we wanted to and also relaxed with the beautiful scenery. It is such a hidden gem! Thank you Janet and Jim! We hope to return again!

We enjoyed a great weekend getaway at this place. Denise was a great host who were helpful and always quick to respond. The house is cozy and clean, perfect size for two adults. It is conveniently located while being private. We kayaked on Paugus Bay and hiked Mt Major. Would definitely come back again.

Alfa and Eric were great hosts. the cottage was adorable and lots to keep us busy even on our rainy night. We are looking forward to booking another ling weekend in warmer weather to enjoy the beautiful lake a bit more. Thank you so much for sharing your cottage with us.

What can I say that hasn’t already been said. This place is a gem. We were the last to book for the year and Tim and Megan made sure that everything was perfect for when we got there. Upon arriving we immediately took the canoe on the lake and caught the last bits of sun. Although it rained for a good portion of our short trip there’s still something magical about having a cup of coffee on the back porch as the rain drops hit the water. 100 percent would come back. Thank you both for sharing this piece of paradise!
