A great place to stay. Clean, comfy with a Dog friendly and secure garden, Close to a dog friendly beach . would highly recommend.

Me hubby and youngest teen just back from a lovely long weekend here.. gorgeous apartment, stones throw from beach, pier, shops, restaurants etc. free parking too! what more could you ask for? Mark our host was great and super responsive, highly recommend. the only feedback would be a bigger bed in the amazing master bedroom would be perfect! Thanks for a great stay Mark!

Super spacious ground floor flat in great location. Only 5 minute walk to the shops. Well equipped kitchen and ample seating on comfy sofas. Mirrors in the en-suite shower room were great, along with mirror in bathroom, but it would have been nice to have one in the lounge or bedrooms (where the sockets are) in order to blow-dry and straighten our hair. However, we vaguely improvised by using our reflection in the fridge freezer! On arrival, we turned the thermostat (located on the wall between lounge and kitchen) and the radiators were warm very quickly. We also always had hot water when required. Finding the flat was slightly tricky (especially in the dark). Although the block of flats has an entrance for most of the flats in Standley Rd, the entrance to Hannah’s flat is actually on Prince’s Esplanade as shown in the photos, next to the flat on the corner of Standley Rd. Ample parking for a large car, with fenced off front area with ample seating, table, etc.

Everything as described is accurate and the parking space is an added bonus. Stuart was helpful and replied very quickly to a couple of pre arrival questions we had. Would highly recommend a stay here if you are in the area.

We had a lovely stay. Judith and Mike were friendly and helpful. The place was spotless and had everything we needed. It was great to be so close to both the sea and to restaurants/ cafes. Definitely recommended!

Barbara was a great host and even offered us the chance to drop the luggage early. The apartment is in a great location, with a beautiful view of the ocean and in walking distance of the high street. The kitchen was good for cooking and also had a washer/dryer. We would definitely be happy to stay there again.

We really enjoyed our stay at Robert and Lorraine's house. The flat is right opposite the beach which is amazing. The flat was very clean. Beds were comfortable. There were plenty of clean towels which was very handy. overall a very positive experience.

Melanie is a great host. Very proactive and responsive and provided lovely homemade baked goods, butter, tea, coffee and biscuits. Mini pool table was a nice bonus! Easy walk to the beach and town with good pubs, eateries and shops.

We had a lovely weekend! Kitchen fully stocked for cooking meals in, but some lovely pubs a short drive for a dinner out. Comfortable place to stay with large living area to chill. Close footpaths to get outside for an afternoon walk. Would recommend!

A lovely spot for a weekend by the seaside. Walking distance to both the high street and the beach. Plenty of outside space and all the toys in the world for the kids to play with. Will certainly be back!

Absolutely fantastic home, so good that this was our 2nd stay in less then 4 months, has everything you need, for us the proximity to the beach as you can get there in 30 seconds, all the beach accessories needed is available, leave your car on drive while you go hiking . restaurants within walking distance, ,pier about 15 min stroll. Will definitely go back

This was our 3rd stay at the location because we absolutely love it. Its just a short walk to an amazing beach and is perfect for our little family. 4th stay booked already :)

Mersea cottage is located in a beautiful part of Essex. With restaurants, walks, views all walkable from the cottage. The cottage itself is a lovely place to come back to, the garden is a great space to hangout if the weather allows. All the amenities you could need, a well equipped kitchen and the all the benefits of a log burner after a day on the beach. We had a great stay here and would happily return.

Very enjoyable stay. House was easy to find, easy to park (street opposite) and close to shops and water front etc. Cosy and comfortable stay.

The studio apartment was so lovely and comfortable, spotlessly clean and with everything you could possibly want for a relaxing stress free break. All the little extras made it an even more special experience. Plenty of space but still cozy with a well equipped kitchen which had everything I needed & more! Probably the best Airbnb I have stayed at, would love to return to Felixstowe as it is such a quiet relaxing place to unwind. Lots to visit and explore. Thank you Kim.

The apartment was spotless and very welcoming, it has everything you could possibly need to stay from a couple of days to longer stays. Jason the host was super responsive when we needed a bit of assistance with the key box. Overall we would definitely recommend this accommodation!

Had a really lovely stay at Carole’s cottage Garden Annex, was nice and peaceful perfect for my little trip. Really appreciate the croissants and Jams that Carole had left us, was a really nice touch.

Highly recommended especially for people like me who need to get to the early morning ferry! Paul was an excellent host, responded very quickly to any questions. The flat has a very functional touch but very clean and everything needed can be found.

Lovely place, very clean and with everything you could need. Very useful having a parking space. Good communication with owner and clear instructions made everything very easy.

This is our second stay at Barry's place and we'd once again highly recommend his flat for a visit to Felixstowe. It has all you need for a relaxing seaside vacation. We came with our 1 and 3 year old children, and had some family in town over as well which Barry kindly let us host. The place has a great sitting room for enjoying time with a larger group.

Great place to stay, suited our needs perfectly. Jessica was very responsive and helpful. Extremely clean place even in the backs of cupboards! Difficult to access with a pram as no lift but Jessica had warned me that it's not the most baby-friendly when I had asked. Despite this, my toddler loved the house, we felt safe with him as there was no clutter around. Great big TV and comfy sofa. Everything was perfect.
