A truly pristine property which was warm, welcoming, clean and well located. Carol is a superb host who left many personal touches, including home made scones and jam ❤️ the property has everything you could need, is comfortable and just like a home from home. Our 7 year old said it was a home for VIP’s and he wanted to live there forever.

The house is beautiful and even better than the photos. We were a party of 10 and we found we had everything we could possibly need and enough room to live comfortably. We stayed mainly around the house, cooking meals and playing games by the open fire but ventured out for country walks and to visit the alpacas, which were a highlight. Overall a fantastic weekend, we can't wait to come back.

This was my second visit to the house and it did not disappoint. It’s a lovely cottage in an ideal location for me when I visit my Dad who lives in the village x

This place is AMAZING! We wanted a super chilled venue for a hen do and couldn’t have asked for a more perfect space - huge garden where we spent most of the day, kitchen is so well stocked and has everything you could possibly want, the pool and decking area was stunning?! We didn’t actually explore Braintree and literally spent the whole weekend in this little patch of paradise. Hosts were really helpful and responsive from as soon as we booked until the end of our stay

We booked the apartment so that a friend could be close to Ipswich Hospital. Tony was very helpful and kind. Tony was on hand if needed. I highly recommend staying here and would definitely stay again.

We had a wonderful stay. The flat is really close to the beach and looks even better in reality than the pictures. And Barbara is a fabulous host- very responsive, and she was really helpful about a couple of matters.

Everything as described is accurate and the parking space is an added bonus. Stuart was helpful and replied very quickly to a couple of pre arrival questions we had. Would highly recommend a stay here if you are in the area.

Such a wonderful place! The view from the kitchen\living area would make a great jigsaw puzzle. The house is lovely and extremely clean and well maintained. When you first approach the building, it looks like a business rather than a house, but that's soon forgotten when you go up the exterior stairs and into the house. I do wish shampoo was provided--such a pain for international visitors like us, who have to buy shampoo that we then don't need for any other place we stay. I'd rather have shampoo than Prosecco, though the flowers and Prosecco were lovely. Regardless, we will happily stay here again next time we're in the area.

Really beautiful historic flat. Spacious, light and airy. The perfect retreat for the last month although very close to shops etc. Highly recommend!! Henry also very quick to reply and overall a very relaxing experience

Julia’s place is a lovely find, so nice and quiet in beautiful surroundings. The apartment was plenty big enough for 4 of us using the sofa bed. Nice and clean with a well equipped kitchen. Julia was great at communicating all throughout and was very accommodating when we had to change dates. We will definitely be back again when we next visit family in the area.

This place was stunning! Very luxurious and comfortable- felt like a luxury holiday as well as a second home! Would 10/10 recommend for anyone looking for a romantic trip away. Thankyou host :)
