The place was nice, clean, and new. Easy communication and very flexible. If you're 8–10 people, the sleeping arrangements are fine, but the living room and kitchen with dining space are a bit on the small side—though this is not hidden in the pictures.

Great accommodation for 3 of my colleagues to stay in for the week whilst working close by. Andy was a great host and fast at communicating if we had any questions. We booked for a second week straight after as we could guarantee a great stay. Thank you :)

This was my first booking with Airbnb so I didnt really know what to expect but Mel has certainly set the standard. She is a friendly, helpful, honest, and incredibly responsive host. The house was exactly as described and the quiet location was perfect for us. We'll definitely stay again when we return to Mersea Island, which was beautiful too!

The house was perfect with plenty of space for the family. Great communication from Michelle. I had a few questions and everything was responded to with clear instructions. Lovely village feel to the immediate area.

Beautiful home in a very peaceful setting, with plenty of space both inside and in the expansive gardens. Justine was there to greet us and responded to any subsequent queries promptly. It was so great to be able to pick the produce from the kitchen garden and to collect the freshly laid eggs, whilst the farm shop (for other supplies) is about 20 mins walk into the village itself. Overall, we had a wonderful weekend celebrating a very special birthday! Highly recommended!

We had a wonderful stay here. It was exactly as described. Perfect location with a lovely beach walk to the pier. Kids loved the bunk room and the toys and books were a great addition, along with some really nice extra touches. We normally stay on a caravan site when visiting clacton but this was such a lovely, relaxing alternative and I will definitely be booking again. Thank you so much, we can’t wait to come back. Xx

The cottage is beautiful, lean and tidy. It’s a delight to see plenty of books, toys and games for children of all ages as well as books etc. for adults. Brightlingsea is lovely and Johanna’s recommendations were spot on! Would definitely isit again.

Me hubby and youngest teen just back from a lovely long weekend here.. gorgeous apartment, stones throw from beach, pier, shops, restaurants etc. free parking too! what more could you ask for? Mark our host was great and super responsive, highly recommend. the only feedback would be a bigger bed in the amazing master bedroom would be perfect! Thanks for a great stay Mark!

We really enjoyed our stay being close to the seafront and town centre and enjoying bright afternoon sunshine as it flooded the lounge, kitchen and outside bench. The cliff top cafe has long been a favourite of ours and breakfast outside in bright sunshine looking out to sea was a real pleasure. The walk along the sea front to the Deben estuary past the golf course is always enjoyable and on this occasion we extended it to make it a 16.5k walk door to door! Thank you Judith and Mike for a very enjoyable stay, we’ll be back!

A really well appointed apartment. Beautifully decorated and in a good location to explore the Sussex coastal area. Parking space was right outside the apartment. The bed linen and towels were lovely and every amenities and appliance you could possibly need was to hand. Highly recommend staying in the apartment. Very clean and comfortable.

The apartment was prestine. Check in was great. The lovely lady from Bournemouth checked us in and made sure our fridge was stocked with milk and water and teas and coffees. She was lovely and very helpful. Everything was walking distance and perfect for us. Thanks again would highly recommend.

We really enjoyed our stay at Robert and Lorraine's house. The flat is right opposite the beach which is amazing. The flat was very clean. Beds were comfortable. There were plenty of clean towels which was very handy. overall a very positive experience.

Had a great stay at Katy’s space. Everything was clean, comfortable and matched the description and we enjoyed the goodies Katy stocked the kitchen with to get us going! Great location - very close to everything we needed. If I was ever in Walton or Essex again would be happy to stay again. Communicating with Katy was very easy and she was happy to help with any questions!

We had a lovely weekend getaway at Tim’s place. I booked it very last minute and he was quick to get all the information to me to ensure a smooth entrance to the property. The flat itself is right on the beach with gorgeous views for your morning coffee! The flat is quiet and cosy and has everything you need for a relaxing trip. Thanks guys!

This was a hassle free and exceptional stay. Immaculately clean, well appointed and thoughtfully equipped tranquil space where I could relax and rest whilst working in a stressful environment in the Chelmsford Office. Great communication and the place was just like the photos. Comfy beds/linens. Very handy parking space, that was well organised. Only a short walk up the road to the centre where there was a range of bars & restaurants.

We really enjoyed our stay. The apartment was lovely and perfectly located smack bang in the middle or south beach and north beach almost opposite the peer. We will definitely return when the sun is out!
