Me hubby and youngest teen just back from a lovely long weekend here.. gorgeous apartment, stones throw from beach, pier, shops, restaurants etc. free parking too! what more could you ask for? Mark our host was great and super responsive, highly recommend. the only feedback would be a bigger bed in the amazing master bedroom would be perfect! Thanks for a great stay Mark!

This place is really special. We felt at home straight away and our little dog did too! It was comfortable and clean, equipped with everything you could need. It feels like it was once a loved home. Minutes from the beach and really nice restaurants, pier etc. Perfect communication from Maureen. We had a great time and would love to go back soon.

Everything as described is accurate and the parking space is an added bonus. Stuart was helpful and replied very quickly to a couple of pre arrival questions we had. Would highly recommend a stay here if you are in the area.

Clean, brighf,restful and perfect for a family of 3 plus dog. We love the history of the place and its character, as well as the view. Beds really comfortable which is a big win from us

Anne was a great and flexible host . I had to change my dates for work and she was super patient and helpful . The annexe was cosy and comfy with great amenities . I would 100 % recommend and stay again .

Julia’s place is a lovely find, so nice and quiet in beautiful surroundings. The apartment was plenty big enough for 4 of us using the sofa bed. Nice and clean with a well equipped kitchen. Julia was great at communicating all throughout and was very accommodating when we had to change dates. We will definitely be back again when we next visit family in the area.

We really enjoyed our stay at Robert and Lorraine's house. The flat is right opposite the beach which is amazing. The flat was very clean. Beds were comfortable. There were plenty of clean towels which was very handy. overall a very positive experience.

Despite a hiccup with checking in, I felt very well looked after whilst I was there and the host went out of their way to resolve the issue and cleaned the apartment themselves. The photos don't do this justice, it's a really beautiful place that's been decorated to a very high and comfortable standard. The location was beautiful and I enjoyed walking the gardens, as well as exploring the lovely countryside nearby. I'd definitely recommend to anyone else seeking a solo retreat within beautiful countryside.

We stayed at Jo’s house to celebrate our daughter Emma’s 30th birthday. The 9 of us enjoyed a perfect family get together in a part of the country non of us were very familiar with but now love! I wanted beautiful surroundings and this house massively deliverers, we were all on a high for the whole weekend! The house, painted a beautiful Suffolk red, has the most lovely atmosphere. It is furnished extremely nicely with pictures, paintings and plenty of interesting books. The gardens, with beautiful box and topiary yew are superb and larger than I had imagined. As with inside the house there are different, almost secret areas, to enjoy on your own or with others. Our son and his American girlfriend played badminton.The huge swathers of daffodils were at their absolute peak and we loved the views of the estuary and enjoyed fantastic walks from the house in gloriously sunny weather. If you like birds in this peaceful area, there were many varieties including a tawny owl at night!

Beautiful home in a very peaceful setting, with plenty of space both inside and in the expansive gardens. Justine was there to greet us and responded to any subsequent queries promptly. It was so great to be able to pick the produce from the kitchen garden and to collect the freshly laid eggs, whilst the farm shop (for other supplies) is about 20 mins walk into the village itself. Overall, we had a wonderful weekend celebrating a very special birthday! Highly recommended!

This is a beautiful house in which you feel instantly at home. Restaurants are within easy walking distance and the surrounding area by the waterfront is lovely. The house has everything we needed and more. The garden enabled us to enjoy the outside in comfort and we were lucky enough to have amazing weather too. The highlight for me was seeing a red squirrel playing in the garden! I had no idea Mersea Island had reintroduced these native species and that they are thriving. What a treat!

Thank you for a wonderful weekend in Felixstowe. This place couldn’t have been more perfect to accommodate myself and 3 friends. We felt welcomed and comfortable. The house is pristine clean. What a delight to be so close to the beach. Plenty to do in the area but also lovely to relax in the living room and watch tv together or cook and eat in the kitchen.

Very enjoyable stay. House was easy to find, easy to park (street opposite) and close to shops and water front etc. Cosy and comfortable stay.

Absolutely perfect stay in a beautiful area. The house was spotless and even bigger than the photos show! It was perfect for 4 adults and my 16 month old daughter. Stuart sent great instructions through and loads of information about the local area, although we actually loved the house and grounds so much that we didn’t venture any further - we had a lovely few relaxing days in the house and walks around the woodland. My daughter even got to feed the goats. Will definitely come back, and will do a summer visit too as the pool looked beautiful.

We had another great stay and as always the hosts where there right next door If we needed anything. Would always recommend this property to family and friends and would return if we were in the area.

What a fantastic stay! Kim was very communicative in the booking and check in process. The flat was spotless on arrival and she had left lots of treats for the stay with coffee/tea/condiments/spices. It felt just like a home away from home. The location was fantastic for walking everywhere as it's so close to the train station. I would give it more than 5 stars if I could!

Loved this property, great location for us slightly away from centre but still close enough. Welcome basket much appreciated, quality of finish & furnishings good, felt very much at home. Loved the decor! Abundance of on-street parking being out of season.

We had a lovely weekend getaway at Tim’s place. I booked it very last minute and he was quick to get all the information to me to ensure a smooth entrance to the property. The flat itself is right on the beach with gorgeous views for your morning coffee! The flat is quiet and cosy and has everything you need for a relaxing trip. Thanks guys!

Great communication and the place was just like the photos. Comfy beds/linens. Very handy parking space, that was well organised. Only a short walk up the road to the centre where there was a range of bars & restaurants.

I stayed in Myles’ flat for 7 weeks as a student at the hospital and it was everything I could have asked for! Super easy check-in / check-out, really good comms throughout, really quiet area, no noise disruption despite being on ground floor and felt really safe living there alone. The flat itself was pristine, well-equipped kitchen, good wardrobe/storage space and has a nice cozy vibe - feels very private. Within 5 minute walk of a big tesco, good bus routes - generally really good location. Thank you Myles!!
