Wizzy and John’s cabin was fantastic! We traveled with kids (10, 7, and 3), and they had plenty to keep them entertained within the compound, especially with the stables right next to the A-frame cabin. We also enjoyed a walk to the Mau Mau cave with Simon, the guide, who was incredible. Wizzy was a wonderful host—kind, responsive, and quick to address a minor issue with hot water and power, which was resolved . Overall, we had a great experience, and my kids even rated it their second favorite holiday! I’d definitely return.

The place was very quiet which was something I was really looking for. The house was clean and very relaxed. It felt like home. The host was also very responsive. I liked my stay and would definitely go back.

We really enjoyed our time here! The house is very spacious, with a large livingroom and well furnished kitchen. We also loved the garden - even though there are some chickens that may wake you up in the morning! The check-in was smooth, and both the owner and the house keeper are extremely friendly and welcoming. The house keeper also cooked us a great meal which we really enjoyed. The area is safe and quiet - yet not far from the centre! In summary, the perfect house for our needs. Only one small point was that the beds are a little small for a couple to share, but only a minor issue.

Perfect, serene hideout at the heart of Meru town.

We were a total of 8 guests; 2 children, 2 middle-aged, and 4 senior citizens, and we all had a fabulous time. Jayne is an excellent host; her staff, Joy, and Michael, are incredible! The reception upon arrival was very refreshing after the drive from Nairobi. We were given a tour of the beautiful house, exquisite gardens, and farm. We got complimentary fruits and boiled corn to snack on as we settled in. We also received 1L of fresh milk every morning!! This is the first Airbnb ever to receive free food in Kenya and abroad. The staff was always present and helpful, from preparing meals to lighting up the fireplace to lighting up the grill for nyama choma, cleaning up and washing dishes......the list goes on and on. Jayne constantly communicated with her staff and us and ensured we arrived safely and that we were comfortable. There are a lot more good things to report but since space wouldn't allow it, I 110% recommend Koogi Gardens without a doubt!

This is a great place when you need a comfortable retreat from the world. It's both cozy and stylish. The caretaker was warm and kind; and he only communicated when necessary.

Edna was a wonderful host. I got in later than the check-in time and she was kind enough to wait for me. The house is as described on the app. During my stay, the host was quick to respond to all my needs. I would definitely book the place again if i have another trip to Meru.

My partner and I stayed at Manka's place for the week of Christmas. We were new to Nanyuki town and the area around. Ideally we were looking for a peaceful place where we could rest as we explored around not in the middle of Nanyuki town. Everything was perfect!!!! Above and beyond our expectations! Not only were we able to find the property, her instructions were clear and precise. Since we were new to town she sent us a guide with suggestions on what to do in the area (We tried 2 places and will come back for more). The apartment was beautiful exactly like the photos. Things were clean and ready for us to use. The beds were comfortable and the showers had hot water. Manka's place is a place I would highly recommend. She's also quick to respond to any queries. We will definitely come back again.

My husband and I had a great time at Doreen's place. The place met our expectations, very peaceful. Quiet neighbourhood. Neat, nicely laid out space. Well equipped kitchen. Comfy bed. WC has an Arab shower - a thoughtful touch! It's the little details...

A very lovely stay. Easily accessible from the road and very peaceful and quiet. Also the host was really lovely, I had a smooth check in, stay and check out. Definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a stay in Meru.
