We have nothing but 5 star reviews for this place. We stayed here from Nov 1 - Feb 1, 2025. Shelley was very good and responsive in answering all our questions leading up to our arrival. She had the unit unlocked for easy of entry. The unit is private and shielded for any bad weather. (winter months). The picture represent this suite perfectly. We had everything we needed for our 3 mth stay. This suite was spotless and the bed/pillows were very comfortable. Kitchen cookware was great and we had everything we needed. We were within driving distance to so many beautiful trails and close to both Comox/Courtney/Campbell River. We ventured out to as many trails as we could and have so many picture to remind us why we would love to return. Chris and Shelley were great as hosts and we will miss them. We will miss our time at their place and hope to return. You will not be disappointed in any way if you rent this place for your stay. Thanks Melissa and Arnold

This place is absolutely stunning with unparalleled, breathtaking views! Lisen was a very responsive and kind host. We had a warm welcome and Lisen went above and beyond to provide us with a crib and high chair, ensuring our littles were comfortable. She provided many local recommendations which were great. The place is immaculate and has everything you need. Staying at Norra Hem was one of the best experiences as a family of 4 and we can't wait to come back!

My family loved our stay at The Boathouse. We always try and find somewhere that is a little unique and interesting and this was definitely it. The house was beautiful and clean with large, picturesque windows that allowed for an amazing view of the water. We enjoyed a couple of nights warming up in the sauna and took advantage of kayaking in the evenings. Everything was just what you want when on vacation. This place is a gem.

Allison and James were very welcoming, and their suite is perfect for a couple. It is comfortable, cozy and clean. We had a wonderful week, and it was a great location to explore from.

We absolutely love this place and have committed to stay here as often as we can (a few times a year). I just can't say enough about the place, nor the hosts. You will only need to stay here once to understand what I'm taking about. It's so peaceful, the setting is magic and the hosts are incredible. I'd give 100 stars if I could. :)

A charming space, perfect for a rustic and rural getaway. Appreciated the full kitchen with all the cookware, gizmos and gadgets to prepare full meals during the stay. Enjoyed the sauna every evening and overall felt like a little slice of something special here on the island.

The place was great with everything we need and Melissa with her husband were very kind and responsive. Highly recommended :)
