Exactly what we needed for a couples escape from Christchurch. Our second time visiting this gem. Private and comfortable, with an incredibly big bed. I don't think I've ever seen a cleaner place on AirBnB. And the homemade bread and jam was the cherry on top. Thanks so much Tracy for another wonderful stay - we did not want to leave.

Debbie's place was really good, it had everything we needed and more. she was always responsive. the beds were cosy, bathrooms were clean and amenities were more than we required. thank you Debbie.

Man wohnt quasi mitten in der Natur und der Blick über den Wald ist wundervoll. Hier wurde ein kleines Refugium geschaffen mit all den selbstgefertigten Holz- und Handwerksarbeiten. Respekt! Wir haben die Natur und das Haus sehr genossen. Der Weg zum Haus ist tatsächlich etwas steiler und die Warnung nur leichtes Gepäck mitzunehmen sollte ernst genommen werden, da es keinen Lastenaufzug für schwere Koffer gibt.

Great little studio unit that worked well for our week long snow holiday as a couple. Easy walking distance to great local restaurants and cafes. Responsive and helpful hosts. Everything was as described and we found the place to be plenty warm with good sunlight. Thank you for having us 😀

Adorable studio cottage with mountain views

Harriet's place is about 2 hours from Christchurch, but only a few minutes to the Mount Sunday turnoff. Her place was exactly as described and like the pictures. it was a Bedroom with a small kitchen area plus a big bathroom. The place also included a gorgeous porch that overlooked the pastures and had a view of the mountains. I highly recommend checking the stars out at night if you get a clear night. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend anyone else to stay here if in the area.

The space is beautiful decorated and we were greeted with two complimentary chocolates! It’s a lovely space and honestly better for more than two. There’s a cozy living area and we caught up with the Telly at night. The place is conveniently located in the heart of methven around local eateries.

Clare was very responsive and friendly and just a really good host overall. Her place felt like a little haven, and was within walking distance to pubs, restaurants and the grocery store. She had also provided lots of freebies in the room which was very kind of her, like coffee (even a million frother), tea and some snacks. Her dogs are so lovely I wish we had spent another night there!

Great and private location with plenty of hikes around the area. Had everything that we needed for the two weeks stay. Lovely garden and peaceful surroundings. Heat pump and heated blankets if it gets cold. Dishwasher for the post meal slump. Highly recommend.

Great place for a scenic and relaxing stay, very comfortable and cosy. Beautiful sunrises from the kitchen window and has everything you need for a good few days. Lovely hosts who were very responsive and helpful. Definitely recommend.

I absolutely loved this home. Big windows in the bedrooms displayed the beauty of the mountains, while the home was full of light and peaceful. I felt very much at home. The back deck was a delight. The beds were comfy and I slept very well. The center of town was near and very walkable. Kate got back to me with my questions. I would love to stay here again.

A beautiful place, we loved our stay there. Ali was lovely and we had the most amazing supplies in the fridge (and one of Ali’s home baked cakes!) on our arrival. We felt at home straight away. Would definitely like to stay there next time I’m over visiting my son. Loved it. Thank you Ali.

Stayed here on an NZ vacation with my extended family. Very clean and spacious. Lisa was a great host and very responsive. the neighborhood is very nice and safe with water access directly off the property. We really loved the living area with the gas fireplace. Only 45-1hr to Christchurch. Lisa's neighbor across the street was very helpful and friendly! 10/10 spot to stay.

We had family from overseas stay in this beautiful cottage. It was comfortable, pristine and perfectly proportioned for their stay. It is perfectly located for a short stroll into the town. We would highly recommend this property.

Great location. Enjoyed the spa after busy day of skiing . Lovely restaurant on site. Excellent communication. Nice warm apartment and easy to heat up if needed. We had a wonderful time .
