Had a great stay here for the weekend. Used the hot tub loads, was so relaxing and didn’t feel over looked. Kitchen was a good space to prep our own food and relax as a group in the living room. Lots of space for 8 girls to get ready, lots of mirrors 😂 There was lots of info supplied so didnt need to contact the host while we were there. Same with the cleanliness, everything was tidy and clean and we could settle right into our trip.

Amazing girls weekend away to celebrate my friend’s upcoming marriage. Beautiful scenery, peaceful and private. House is gorgeous, cosy and spotlessly clean. Hot tub is brilliant. We’re already talking about going back again in a few months!

We recently stayed at the Old School House and had a wonderful experience. The building’s rich history and unique character made it a truly memorable stay. The peaceful, rural setting allowed us to fully relax and enjoy the quiet surroundings. It was the perfect spot for a restful break, with plenty of charm and a warm, inviting atmosphere. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. We would definitely recommend the Old School House for anyone looking to escape and unwind in a tranquil, beautiful setting.

Such a beautiful weekend away for my mum's 70th birthday! The house is beautiful with so much space and everything you could need! Lots of places to walk from the door step. This house is definitely worth a visit.

We were looking forward to some chilled, relaxed family time and this fitted the bill perfectly. A great location for a wintery stay and off the beaten track. Lots to do in and around the area but, as Northumbrians ourselves, we were already familiar with the outstanding attractions on offer and this was not the focus for our stay on this occasion. The cottage is exactly as descibed and the photos accurately portray the interior with its comfortable, tasteful fixtures and furnishings. The cottage is extremely well equipped, Will and Dawn have thought of everything. We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend and would not hesitate in recommending it.

We have stayed here a few times. The house is beautiful and the host cares. If we are back in the area, we will always see if Joshua's place is available before we look anywhere else.

the flat was exactly like the photos. very clean and full of equipment. easy to station and city center. Gabrielle is very helpful.

Bothy is a beautiful place to stay, perfect location. very clean and tidy and had everything we needed for a lovely stay. Marcelle and Alan could not have been more helpful and made us feel like we were at home. The dogs, ponies and chickens are a added bonus! would highly recommend and will hopefully come back for another stay, maybe longer next time so we can do all of the things that the hosts recommended to us. We have been staying at Ella's place for months now, always responsive and helpful.

I really enjoyed my stay at Sara's Garden Room. Perfect size for one or two people. Sara hadmade some Ginger and Chocolate cookies, hand made and waiting for your first tea or coffee. I let Sara know what time I would arrive, so the lights and heating were on. Christmas lights on for an added affect. The room is exactly as described. Will hopefully be going back next year if it's available for the datesnext December.

Tom was probably one of the best hosts we have had. Really informative and helpful without being over the top. Whenever we needed anything, he was quick to respond. Have great information on the area and even offered us a lift! Honestly, cannot fault him. Annexe was beautiful and clean, well maintained. Gorgeous area, lovely local pubs and the hot tub was filled with fresh water. Fantastic experience. Would definitely stay again.

Nic and Julie’s place was very homely, very tidy and everything, the kitchen, the bedrooms, was of a high quality. Julie was a very friendly and responsive host, who went above and beyond to accommodate us and help us out with anything we needed. Would’ve given 6 stars if I could have.

Thanks for a great stay at the coast! Adrianne’s apartment was perfect to explore Cullercoats, Tynemouth and Whitley Bay; all in walking distance. And easy to find from the Metro station. As described and shown in the pictures. Would recommend. Thanks again!

A Perfect Stay! I recently had the pleasure of staying at Alex’s Airbnb and it was fantastic! The place is spotless, cozy, and beautifully decorated. The bed was super comfortable, ensuring a restful night’s sleep after days of exploring. The location was perfect—quiet and serene, yet conveniently close to local attractions, restaurants, and shops. Alex is wonderful. She went above and beyond to ensure my stay was perfect, offering excellent local tips and always being available to answer any questions I had. Her warm hospitality truly made my stay special. This Airbnb is a true gem, offering unparalleled comfort, convenience, and charm. I highly recommend it and look forward to returning in the future. Five stars!

Great weekend away for Valentine’s Day, close to Durham for a day out and very relaxing to come back and spend time in the hot tub, overall a great experience :)

We had a lovely weekend stay with the kids. The cabin was beautiful and set in its own mini woodland. Ideal location to light the fire and gaze at the stars. If you’re looking for peace and quiet and a bit of nature this is the place. Sarah was super friendly too and we loved the extra treats like tea and biscuits we received upon our arrival.

What can I say about staying in Ash lodge?! Our hosts Allison and Jonathan were wonderful. Provided us with all the information we would need and were quick to respond when we needed them! Friendly, welcoming and all round lovely hosts! To top it off, as we left, Jonathan helped us get our car out of the snow and gave us a tow up to the car park - not all hero’s wear capes! We practically lived in the hot tub in the evenings. The instructions in the handbook are easy to follow. The tub was fun to get going and even more fun to enjoy! Now how about that cheese? It was phenomenal! I recommend getting the cheese board add on when you come. Also the breakfast pack is amazing! The lodge was clean, tidy, uncluttered, and had the most wonderful warm homely feel. The amenities were everything we needed for the weekend. Highlight of our stay would have to be the moment my partner proposed to me IN the hot tub! It has been the most MAGICAL experience. We even got to see shooting stars!

It was a perfect weekend away, the fox’s den lived up to everything Louise said and more. The accommodation was fantastic felt just like home and we will be coming back as soon as possible !!!

The cabins are so unique and wonderful. There was 4 of us and we had a fantastic time. All info provided was extremely useful and Alasdair was very accommodating. Thank you so much Alasdair for having us, you were a wonderful host and we hope to come back again in the summer!! :)

Crowdy Hall is exactly as described! Alasdair was very prompt with responses and gave very clear and simple instructions prior to our arrival. Alasdair was able to help with anything we needed whilst staying at Crowdy Hall. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend to anyone who would like some peace and quiet and time to relax 😌
