Gary’s place was ideal for our family getaway! We have a 2 years old and 1 year old and it was the ideal place to stay. Gary had gone above and beyond to accommodate us and ensured our sleep arrangements were thought of. He also was extremely generous in leaving lots of wonderful treats such as bread, snacks and milk. Gary was extremely responsive and friendly which made the stay even better. Gary’s place is right next to the beach and shops so a great location. It was also very clean and spacious! Would highly recommend.

Fantastic place to stay. A home from home. We had a fabulous stay and were blessed with amazing weather ☀️. Great location, walking distance to everything, beach, metro, coffee shops. No problems with parking. Rosemary is a proactive, responsive and friendly host. Definitely recommend and would gladly stay again.

Lovely spacious, clean and quiet house. Perfect for our family stay. Very comfy beds and well appointed kitchen. We were 5 adults and fitted us perfectly. Huge telly and nice sofa. Fast wifi and responsive host. Would defo stay here again and recommend both the lovely modern house and very responsive hosts.

Excellent location within walking distance of the beach, good restaurants and amenities. The accommodation was clean (bearing in mind it's dog friendly) and looked newly decorated. The only downside was the heating, as it was very cold and the settings meant it took a long time to get warm. It could have been because it hadn't been occupied for a while and it was February, but found I was unable to leave my dog downstairs, on a tiled floor all night without any heating on. A setting of 12 degrees would have been enough.

An absolute gem in beautiful surroundings! The cottage is spotless, cosy and fabulously stocked - and feels so homely it’s wonderful. Marion and John are lovely hosts and are right nearby but ensure your privacy too. Thank you so much! Can’t wait to come back again :)

Ellen’s place is ideal location - we travelled down for sky diving and a trip to Durham both a great distance from the Airbnb. Ellen was friendly and proactive and the space is clean and cosy - very homely. Definitely recommend.

Great location, around the corner from the Metro. Exceeded expectation as haven't used air BnB before. Hosts were helpful. A lovely place, highly recomend!

A comfortable house, with everything working as it should. Very convenient for all central Durham locations if you have a car.

Stayed in Clives flat to visit our daughter at uni and was ideal. Good location, lovely and clean, with secure parking, that was easily within walking distance of everything we wanted. My only issue was after Mrs Long had finished her shower, there was no water for me, so I had to go without till the following day, which really wasn't great.

We had such a great stay! The location is perfect with a mall across the street and lots of restaurants and shops. The host was very responsive which was nice because we got in later at night. The place was extremely clean which is super nice when on the road! I would definitely recommend!

First of all, Jacinta is the best Abnb host we have ever encountered. 💜 This is an historic building full of character. It was welcoming and warm with everything we needed. Jacinta kept in touch to check out if things were ok which was so helpful. The house was cosy, beds comfy, great warm shower and a thoughtful welcome pack and fresh flowers. Thank you Jacinta.

We loved Ben's flat. It’s in a lovely area, equidistant between two Metro stations and an easy walk into the city centre. The flat was spotlessly clean and very well-equipped. Ben's communication was excellent throughout our stay. There is nothing to fault. We hope to be back.

I couldn't recommend Will & Dawn's place more. The place was spotlessly clean when we arrived. The instructions on how to find the place were detailed and Will was proactive in communication, ensuring we knew how to get there. We received a warm welcome on arrival. The place was done out to a very high spec. The pool was also a big draw which our four year old boy particularly enjoyed. The location was a great base for exploring Northumberland. We'll definitely be back

Dean's apartment was clean, comfy and just as described. The location was perfect for us visiting relatives in the area. The metro is a short walk which gave easy access to the city centre. We would recommend Dean's apartment.

I cannot state enough how friendly and accommodating Yvonne was! Great communication and amazing flat. Everything was spotlessly clean and so warm and comfortable, we felt right at home! Will definitely be returning to stay with these hosts! Thankyou so much ❤️

The flat and kitchen were very well equipped and spotlessly clean. Great location and very peaceful. Both Benjamin and Neil were very helpful and friendly. We would have no hesitation in making a return booking.

Absolutely great place to stay with 2 12 year old boys. Brilliant location and so much to do - Caroline gave us some fab recommendations. The flat was in a perfect location - close to the beach and loads of places to eat. The boys loved the bunk beds and I was impressed with the size of the rooms. Kitchen well equipped if you wanted to cook but we ate out for most meals. The bathroom is a wet room - so take crocs for using the toilet after a shower to avoid wet feet - this was not a problem for us at all and the shower was lovely and warm. Lots of little touches were great, biscuits and tea and coffee, toilet roll, cleaning products so if you arrived late no problem - also a shop over the road. Highly recommend as a lovely downstairs flat with parking near the sea - perfect.

We had a lovely stay. The flat was just as described. It was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. We were able to walk easily into Jesmond and also into Newcastle. Thank you for having us.

First class . Superbly presented apartment, clean and tidy with stunning views overlooking the marina. Thanks for making our stay a special one , we couldn't fault it. Would definitely recommend this apartment to anyone, 100% . We will hopefully be returning soon .

This is our second stay at Kathryn's lovely flat in Whitley Bay. The flat is extremely clean, modern, and with all of the amenities needed for a comfortable holiday. Just a couple of minutes walk takes you to the sea front and sandy beaches, and there's a wide range of shops and restaurants within easy walking distance and the off street parking is excellent. My parents are just home from a three night stay at Cat’s place. They know the area very well and were delighted to be in such a fantastic location. The flat itself is beautiful and so spacious with plenty of space and everything you could need to feel right at home. Cat was so helpful and responded immediately to our messages.
