We spent a few nights in late October and the place is really beautiful, the house itself as well as the island. You get stunning views on both the volcano as well as the sea. The house can be reached by approximately 30 minute walk from the port, or by a taxi. Be aware that off-season, there are no restaurants opened and you need to prepare your own food. The ingredients can be purchased in the local supermarkets which accept card payments. Also bear in mind that due to weather conditions, you might not be able to leave the island as expected, because the only way to/from Stromboli is by the hydrofoil or a ferry, so plan accordingly and leave a buffer. That’s what happened to us, but not even 3 days were enough, we were stranded on the island for 4 days and we missed our flight back home. Luckily, Renato was a really attentive and helpful host, and enabled us to stay all these additional nights for a reduced rate which we highly appreciated.

The view from Laura's place is great. You can see the ocean but we had rain so didn't get to use it much. Bed and apartment were cozy and comfortable. lots of art on display and lots of history in the home. Great place in Taormina.

We had a wonderful stay at Santina's lovely home, even if it was just for one night. The house itself was beautiful, located in a peaceful area, which made for a truly relaxing experience. Santina is an incredibly kind and helpful host, going out of her way to ensure we had everything we needed. From the moment we arrived, we felt like we were staying in our own home. We would definitely love to come back and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a quiet and comfortable retreat.

The house is large, reasonably furnished, with all the amenities (including kitchen scissors!). The washer is old and odd, but it works, which is what matters. The beds were VERY comfortable. The terraces are beautiful, and the view spectacular. We had almost nonstop sunshine, so got to enjoy a lot of time outside, listening to the birds and admiring the Mediterranean. It’s a convenient location for touring the north and central parts of the island, and Martino had some great recommendations for interesting places to see. Other guests have commented on road up from the highway: it’s a steep, nerve-wracking 1-minute drive - the first or second time. Then you figure it out - stay in first gear, with your foot on the accelerator. We come from flat land, and we did it. You can too. We visited in February, which can be chilly. We put the heat on in the living room while we were there; turned heat on in the bedrooms just until bed; used lots of blankets. We would love to return.

Anoeta hat uns in Lipari empfangen und beim Gepäcktransport geholfen. Das Haus ist wunderbar mit dem Roller zu erreichen und liegt sehr abgeschieden und Ruhig in den Hügeln über dem Meer. Von dort aus hat man einen atemberaubenden Blick aufs Meer, den Sonnenuntergang und weitere kleine Inseln. Zum Frühstück kann man, mit etwas Glück, den Ätna bewundern. Alles nötige ist im Haus vorhanden - uns hat es an nichts gefehlt. Die Ausstattung ist wirklich super. Der Pool, Hot Tub und die Sauna sind super um zu entspannen und es sich so richtig gemütlich zu machen. Im Dorf nebenan bekommt man Lebensmittel und alles weitere. Es gibt neben dem Supermarkt auch einen Metzger, dort gibt es sensationelle Grillhänchen + Rosmarinkartoffel auf Vorbestellung - sehr zu empfehlen. Der nächst gelegene Strand ist wunderschön um sich im Meer zu erfrischen, ca. 5 mit dem Roller plus 15min zu Fuß wandern. Das Haus ist wirklich ein Traum mit liebevollen Details. Il soggiorno presso la casa di Anna Lucia è stato semplicemente perfetto! La piscina era fantastica, ideale per rilassarsi, e la vista mozzafiato ha reso l'esperienza ancora più magica. La casa era pulita e accogliente, e Anna Lucia è stata un'ospite eccezionale, sempre disponibile e attenta a ogni dettaglio. Non vediamo l'ora di tornare! 5 stelle meritate!

Nous avons passé un séjour de rêve chez Giuseppe. La maison est très agréable avec deux jardins arborés dans lesquels on peut profiter de hamacs pour se reposer en regardant le volcan et une douche extérieure pour se rincer au milieu de la nature. La terrasse ombragée permet de déjeuner dehors. L’intérieur de la maison est très bien équipé et confortable, avec des ventilateurs qui sont un vrai plus la nuit. La plage est à quelques pas et les commerces accessibles a pied également. Giuseppe a été adorable et très disponible par messages, il nous a donné des conseils. Merci beaucoup, nous reviendrons !

L’appartement de Chiara est spacieux et très agréable, superbe vue sur l’Etna pour prendre le petit déjeuner. La cuisine est bien équipée. Angela qui est la voisine qui nous a accueilli était très gentille. Bonne continuation :)

Fantastic stay with Mike! The apartment has stunning views and is easily walkable to the downtown, it was perfect for our family. Roberto was also a terrific local contact. He arranged for us a very early ride to the airport, and provided many local recommendations. Highly recommend this place!

La mia famiglia ed io abbiamo passato momenti meravigliosi nel alloggio di Piero . Appartamento curato nei minimi dettagli, disponibilità continua da parte del host hanno reso la nostra vacanza indimenticabile. Un'oasi con tutto necessario ed anche di più con un terrazzo bellissimo nel centro di Reggio Calabria . Pulitissimo e perfetto! Grazie Torneremo sicuramente

We hebben heel erg genoten van ons verblijf bij Alessandra. Ze stond zelfs ons om 23.30 op te wachten, we hadden een late vlucht, om haar appartement te laten zien. Alles was binnen loopafstand en de auto kon bij het huis geparkeerd worden. Super! Ook de eerste benodigdheden had Alessandra in huis gehaald. Kortom zeker een dikke aanrader om dit verblijf te boeken.

Only stayed for one night while travelling which was a shame as I would have liked to stay longer. very good location and a really good apartment, better than the photos. Friendly host as well

wunderschöner Sonnenaufgang .Super Wohnung . Elvira immer erreichbar ... auch bei anderen Fragen (zug ticket). winzig kleines Problem .... langsames WLAN... Streaming ist nicht möglich ...besser wlanverstärker mitbringen.... aber dafür kann sie ja nichts.

Spectacular! The view is worth a million dollars! I cannot even describe the sunrise from the balcony. Magical place and a wonderful and gracious host in every way. We wished we could have stayed longer, I highly recommend this one! Don’t miss the view 😍

What a lovely property to fit a large family. About 20 mins to Taormina, you find yourself removed from the tourists and able to enjoy this beautiful house and outdoor space. We arranged for a chef to come and cook at the house for us and was a very memorable experience. Thanks so much and will stay again!

We stayed for a week during New Year. With a two families, in total 9 people. Great place and great host. The surroundings and views are beautiful. The property has everything including a lot of fruit trees. You are close to the beach and there is a nice family style bakery and restaurant right around the corner. The house is next to a highway. You do notice at first, but after a couple of hours it’s not a big deal. There was a problem with the electricity but Mauricio handled it well and quickly. He is a great host.

Outside the city, this location is gorgeous with magnificent views, but it would be hard to travel without our rental car. The hosts were uniquely attentive, communicative, considerate, and generous. I wish I could say the location was quiet and peaceful, but the neighbor's honking geese and relentlessly barking dogs forced us inside in the mornings. That is one of few things we would wish different, in addition to the steep front walkway and stairwell, and complex garbage rules. However, we enjoyed the luxurious pool and panoramic terraces daily. The large overhang by the pizza oven allowed us to even appreciate the rainy days. The spacious kitchen and Sicilian-styled open layout allowed for family dinners and comfortable hang-outs. Brief maintenance visits by Giuseppe and Giulia occurred at 7:00 daily, but they kindly did not enter the house. Any questions were immediately answered, and requests carefully met. Overall, we felt welcomed, cared-for, appreciated, and unfettered.

Alt var strålende! Bakken opp til huset var litt bratt, men så blir man til gjengjeld belønnet med fantastisk utsikt mot Etna på ene siden, sjøen og Naxosbukta, samt Taormina og Castelmola på andre siden. Ivan og Olya var svært hjelpsomme og vi følte oss veldig ivaretatt. Det var bare noen minutter å gå til nærmeste matbutikk, restauranter og cafeer. Villaen var veldig godt utstyrt med flotte rom og velutstyrt kjøkken. Uteområdet hadde mange sitteområde på flere nivåer. Det store spisebordet ute var et fint samlingssted for vår storfamilie. Bassenget var fint og rent med mange solsenger rundt. Det var god plass til alle. Eiendommen har fin vegetasjon med blant annet flotte oliventrær, palmer, kaktuser og andre trær og planter. Villaen var et godt utgangspunkt for turer i området med nærhet til buss og tog. Vi kommer gjerne tilbake en annen gang!

En octobre le climat est très agréable, l’eau de la mer relativement chaude et d’une clarté absolue, et pouvoir profiter de ça depuis la maison est extraordinaire ! La maison est grande, bien équipée, propre, et Giovanni et sa famille disponibles pour assister. Merci à eux.

The villa is very charming, an antique. It's super spacious and located few minutes drive from a lovely stretch of beach with crystal clear water, with few lidos to be found too. The host was very helpful and kind and gave us lots of tips of where to buy fresh fish, meat etc. Milazzo is a beautiful area for holiday on the beach (small pebbles). Thank you!

Vi var en familie på 8 som hadde en uke på Villa Respiro. Denne uken glemmer vi sent. Alt var perfekt, bedre enn bildene! Kan varmt anbefale alle å besøke denne plassen. Nært Taormina der vi brukte flere dager og kvelder. Vi nøt også mange dager og kvelder i Villaen, det var helt magisk. Kan anbefale å stå opp tidlig minst en dag å få sett soloppgang, det var en opplevelse😍 Alle var enig om at vi gjerne kommer tilbake hit! Takk for oss Sicilia og Villa Respiro❤️
