What a beautiful holiday home! Our family instantly felt at home in this wonderful beach house. The view is simply breathtaking. The home is perfectly set up for a relaxed and chilled family getaway. So much space, a huge deck, everything you need for a relaxed family break. The hosts are incredibly helpful and responsive. The beautiful welcome note with chocolates and wine was a such a lovely touch. We will be back for sure!!!

We needed accommodation as we had a family funeral. Keith’s place was perfect. Very clean. Everything was as described and more. It is well stocked with the 1 percent’s -(not that we cooked anything more than toast) but there were lots of condiments, a spice rack, paper towel, liquid hand soap. Just lots of little things that make a stay more homely. Definitely recommend.

We had a great time at the Toorak cottage over the Labour Day long weekend. This place is super peaceful and relaxing. The Victoria Lake was just like next door with a few minutes beautiful walk. Lots of wildlife to observe and explore. My daughter and my dog both had awesome time staying here. Rachel is very helpful and is very approachable, responds quickly to any queries. The place itself is very clean and has all the essentials we needed for our short stay. We felt right at home during our visit and would surely love to come again :)

Thank you Shannon and Stefani for allowing us to stay in your beautiful paradise! Had everything we need for a large group and we had a spectacular sunset. Spent most of our time out on the beautiful deck overlooking the water! Shannon and Stefani also accommodated us for early check in which was very appreciated. Highly recommend!

Richard’s place was everything as described. Very grateful we were able to book for only 1 night and at such a reasonable price, especially since only 2 of us staying. The house is spacious and clean, with stunning views over the water. Enjoyed the sunset and clear starry night from the balcony. Has everything you need, including lots of cupboard staples, books and board games. Good location, about a 40 minute walk along the lake to Metung village, or a 5 minute drive. The Metung hotel also has a courtesy shuttle bus to drop you home if you don’t fancy the walk back. Richard was a great host to deal with, good communication and even messaged when the place was ready for us to arrive. Wish we could have stayed longer! Look forward to our next visit.

We had a fantastic stay at Katie’s place. The house is beautiful and we just loved the waking to the sunrise and stargazing of a night. There was lots of bird life and just a short trip for fishing.

Catherine and Bob were wonderful hosts and we had a lovely few days in their beautiful apartment. The garden deck with a view of the sea and bush path was gorgeous and we fell asleep and woke up to the sound of crashing waves. Catherine and Bob were also very kind and generous when we had a medical issue and went out of their way to offer help. Not to mention offering home grown treats from the glorious garden. The beach is steps away and the cafe and tavern were a walk along the beach or quick drive. We would love to stay again next time we are in the area!

Really great place to stay especially if you have a boat. Walks around the arm are easy and you meet lots of friendly locals.

Lovely comfortable place and walking distance to town. Was a perfect peaceful getaway for a family of four and pet dog.

The location was fantastic, with most places like restaurants, cafes, the lake, and the supermarket within walking distance. The easy access to the ferry for Raymond Island was a bonus. I would definitely stay here again!

Great location, close to shops ...wonderful view. Lovely board walks around Metung. Very cute village feel. We enjoyed our relaxing stay.

The spotted gum is very private and is immaculately presented. Elizabeth has thoughtfully included lots of little extras to make our stay special and make us feel welcome. We were able to easily explore the Gippsland Lakes area from this place. It was a very comfortable peaceful place to stay.

Awesome spot for our family for the few days we were there! Perfect location, quite clean and had everything we could need. Highly recommend!

great place for a small group

What a beautiful house. Well kitted out. The kitchen and back lounge room definite standouts. Large backyard. Will definitely stay here again on our frequent trips to Bairnsdale.

We had everything we needed and more for a relaxing and peaceful getaway. Meals etc take a bit of planning as everything apart from the pub and the small supermarket seems to be shut by mid-afternoon but that was more of a positive aspect when we'd worked it out and got organised. There's plenty to do tho - the lake is perfect for swimming and is only a 5 minute walk, the drive around the national park is worth it and we even played tennis at the courts up the other end of town. We'll definitely be back.

A great place to stay in Metung. We were travelling with baby & a dog and found the home very cosy. The dog run kept our labrador entertained and a really nice addition to the garden area. Kate was a great host and very responsive. We had to change the dates of our trip due to other circumstances and Kate was very understand & accomodating. We'd love to be back again soon.

Had the pleasure of staying in this beautiful house with a few mates on a fishing trip. The views were absolutely amazing from the huge deck space with sunsets like no other. Only 2 min walk to the tavern and boat ramp. Plenty of space to park a boat and 2 cars. The best beds we all have slept on was a nice surprise. The house has everything you need and the hosts are very responsive if you ever need anything. Thanks Ro. We will be back.

We had a very enjoyable few days at McMillans. The listing is as described. Staff friendly and helpful, gave us s late checkout. We enjoyed the sauna and other amenities.
