We had a great stay, the host was so helpful and offered a flexible checkin which was appreciated. We also really liked the welcome book that we definitely used for suggestions on where to go/eat/visit. The location was ideal as not only is it across from the beach, it is walkable to the square but not directly in town so it’s quiet at night. The property is so nice too, lounging by the pool was a treat and feels like you’re in the trees.

This is a lovely, peaceful place. We absolutely loved it. The casita was cute and cozy and decorated to reflect her French heritage with Mexican architecture. She lives in the big house and the whole space is surrounded by gardens and many palm trees and fruit trees. At night, you can hear the ocean. I cannot say enough about what a lovely person Julietta is. She greeted us at the gate and walked us to the Casita. She has lead such an interesting life, we really enjoyed talking with her. She had great recommendations for restaurants and all of them we went to were spot on. We drove to several different beaches and they were all almost empty. (Just a warning though— bumpy dirt roads to all beaches and swimming is not recommended.) Beautiful weather—sunny and warm with little wind. We watched many whales. 100% recommend. 100% recommend.

Loved our stay in Maria's charming cottage. Shaded outdoor space which kept the indoors cool during the day, high quality linens, small kitchen had everything we needed to start our days. The neighborhood is rich with street art and cute cafes. The location is very walkable to Centro and all that offers. We went back and forth easily a couple times each day and felt very safe, even later in the evening.

Wonderful hosts in every way! We arrived late afternoon and, unexpectedly, Mari Carmen had a delicious homemade salad awaiting us complete with bread as a side dish. Tato also provided a couple of beers for my husband. The most thoughtful couple ever! The home is fully equipped with lots of toilet paper, tissues, paper towels and paper napkins. Lots of dishes and cutlery, dish soap and plenty of drinking water. Anything we required was promptly delivered. The added advantage of having a washing machine to use was wonderful! The zocalo is a delightful 20 minute walk along beautiful Avenida 16 de Septiembre. The Barrio itself is quiet, clean and well maintained. An excellent location. We are already looking forward to our next stay with Mari Carmen and Tato!

Nos encantó pasar tiempo en este lugar, fue muy cómodo, la cama era suave, agua bien calientita en la regadera, hermoso jardín, Charo siempre estuvo al pendiente de nosotros y lo más importante es que nos apoyo muchísimo en algo que necesitábamos, muy agradable y sin duda regresaría a esta casita.

Fueron muy amables con nosotros y el lugar es precioso! Muy especial, regresaremos.

Le logement était simple mais agréable avec l’espace extérieur pour manger. Il est situé proche du centre mais dans un quartier calme. Alexandrina est très sympathique. Merci beaucoup

I really loved staying at Maggies place. Maggie is so accommodating and sweet. The casita was beautifully furnished and clean, the outdoor kitchen is beautiful and had evrything we needed in terms of utensils, pots, spices and cooking oils. Maggie went above and beyond and did our laundry for us. I can say that my clothes have never been this clean or soft. The Garden is beautiful and bursting with fruit. The only thing to note, is if you are coming in a larger vehicle, its a bit hard to make the turn into the gated parking area. My van is 20ft long and couldn't make the turn comfortably. The hosts were incredibly accommodating and worked out to have me be able to park at the neibors. It wasnt too far away, but made hauling grocierys and clothing a bit of a trek. We had two vans, otherwise I could have parked closer. But that wont be everyones situation and didnt effect my enjoyment of the stay. I would definitely stay again :)

Loris's place was just what we needed for an editing retreat. We were there for 3 days and the space was very quiet and peaceful. We enjoyed coffee and breakfast in the garden and each had a bed. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare basic meals and we were very comfortable working in this space. Loris was also very responsive and flexible allowing us to check in and check out with some flexibility. We appreciated her kindness and responsiveness the space felt absolutely private and to ourselves just what we needed would definitely book again! Love that it had parking as well.

Maria was attentive to our needs and a great communicator. Our stay was relaxing and comfortable, great bed. The only recommendation is a number on the house, for the taxi amd golf cart drop off. It was a wonderful stay overall.

10/10 el lugar de ubicación y la cabaña muy linda aunque deberían de tener más control por los vecinos ya que a nosotros nos tocó que tuvieran la música a todo volumen hasta las 11 de la mañana😔

The tiny house, garden and surrounds are beautiful, pristine and peaceful. The area is wonderfully walkable, safe and interesting. The host and staff are really helpful, generous and friendly. I felt very at home and I had a fabulous time staying at the tiny house. My overall experience was that it doesn’t get better than this. I loved it, and I am very grateful for all the care and consideration that goes into making the tiny house the best!! Also San Cristobal de la Casas is an incredibly enriching, easygoing and friendly town to explore.

La casa es más grande de lo que se ve en las fotos, cuenta con espacios adecuados. Rentamos la casa para una fiesta y Edgar estuvo pendiente todo el tiempo, nos dio recomendaciones que facilitaron la organización. Sin duda la volvería a rentar.

I went with a group of eight women and this place was simply incredible! Robert was such a communicative and accommodating host from the very beginning. One of the best AirBnBs I’ve ever stayed in!

We stayed with our 2 boys and loved this comfortable, well furnished casita. The separate bedrooms divided by the living room made it easy to stay up and watch a show after putting the kids down. The pool and hot tub were awesome with great views. We did not find the water pump mentioned in other reviews an issue at all as it was only noticed a couple times around 9 pm. We will definitely be back to this area and will stay here again.

Great place to stay! The design of unit is efficient and esthetically pleasing. The yard is beautifully landscaped and set up to be used as an extension to the unit as a living area, that’s how we used it at least. The pool was wonderful! There are plenty of shaded areas to sit. If you are two friends traveling together and sleeping separately it may not be ideal as the fold out couch is pretty uncomfortable. Otherwise, we loved the place.

Muy cómodo y agradable el alojamiento. Pudimos descansar muy bien y la ubicación nos quedó muy bien en preparación para nuestro viaje en bicicleta por la Baja. Karen es muy amable y responde a las dudas. Sin duda volvería.

El lugar muy centrico, y de facil acceso los cuartos limpios y acogedores y espaciosos, no nos hizo falta nada muy buena comunicacion .

This property feels like you’re on a set of a reality TV show with the bonus of VERY friendly dogs and chickens. Ava and America were so friendly and helpful — app communication was so easy and smooth. Bed is firm and COMFY. Woke up to the sound of little baby chicks right outside our window 🤍 private, safe and walkable neighbourhood with a nearby pizzeria, cafe, and oxxo convenience store. Only stayed one night….Wish we had planned for more days here. Would definitely stay here again.

Place was as described, excellent communication, great AC units, spacious and well-stocked kitchen, and a nice little home gym setup. Place felt private (stand-alone "house"), and was walking distance from a ton of variety - restaurants and bars - while not feeling too loud. Thank you!
