Place was absolutely perfect for our girls trip! Just a described, perfect location. Beautiful lake in back yard. Space had everything we needed. Can’t say enough about this place. I’ve stayed at a lot of Airbnbs and this one is top notch. Will definitely be back. Was very clean also.

We absolutely loved everything about this home. Very clean, beds were comfy, Kitchen stocked with everything you need from making coffee to cooking. The location was very close to town and I loved that it was easy to order Grubhub and Instacart. Allison was a fantastic host, any questions we had were answered promptly. I would totally recommend The Dogwood Den.

We had a wonderful stay at this house! It was exceptionally clean and tidy, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The location is fantastic-5 min drive to the beach. Perfect spot for a relaxing getaway. Highly recommend!

We enjoyed our stay in Benton Harbor. Our kids loved taking our small dog out for walks and seeing the beach and sunsets nearby. We had a great time on our vacation which was not far from great locations like St. Joe’s, Holland and even Grand Rapids. We highly recommend Ethan’s Air B and B and look forward to coming back in the summer.

We had a wonderful time staying at this property. The home was beautiful and clean with plenty of couch and table seating.for our group. The bedrooms were spacious and the bathrooms were pristine with extra paper goods available. Excellent experience!

We had a very nice stay this Lake house! We were looking for a place that would be my wife and I and our 2 dogs with easy access to a clean lake that was private and still had access to some dog-friendly restaurants, parks, etc. This place perfectly covered all those needs with a great open layout family room / kitchen / dining room (not common in many moderately sized lake houses) with plenty of room to spread out and lots of windows. It was also nice to have the kayaks, SUP, and paddle boat available to use. Kyle and Kelly were great hosts and we hope to stay again!

Area: secluded, yet within a quick drive to the city center of Valpo. This area of Indiana is great for its proximity to the Lake Michigan southern shoreline as well as Chicago. You can drive up to one of the South Shore line train stations and take the train in to Chicago to save yourself the headache of driving in the city. House: A beautiful property with view of the lake. Updated amenities, great dual shower in the master bedroom, and large with multiple bedrooms. Visiting from the noise and crowds of Manhattan, this quiet and peaceful property was a welcome respite. Host: Daniel was one of the most responsive hosts I’ve had the pleasure of working with. For example, he reached out to me to let me know the food I had ordered had been delivered to a neighbor’s house, and even let my local parents come grab a suit that I had left in the closet after a hasty departure to the airport. Can’t recommend highly enough!

We had a short stay at Paulette’s place for the CFP game between Notre Dame and Indiana. An easy 20 minutes to and from campus. Being December we couldn’t take advantage of the lake amenities, but the house and provisions were great. Highly recommend for a Notre Dame football weekend.

We absolutely loved our stay at “the dump”and rate this a 4.8! Photos do not do this place justice, it’s incredibly well maintained and perfectly beach themed with modern touches. The kitchen is updated and had everything we needed, including toddler friendly cups, bowls, plates (which was a bonus). Couch, kitchen chairs, pillows and beds were comfortable. Beach area is absolutely incredible, very large and there are shells which our toddler loved collecting. What would make this a 5 star: umbrella or shade structure for the beach when needed (it was super hot during our stay), deep cleaning of all cob webs under and around furniture, filters for coffee machine, dishwasher pods, laundry pods/detergent, luggage stands, hooks everywhere for clothes, bathing suits, towels, etc., filtered water brita or similar. Overall an amazing long weekend spent on the beach, we even added an additional day to our stay and it was super easy. Thank you so much; we will be back!!

Nicole was a great host. My family and I wanted an end of summer trip and this was perfect! The house was as described and as it looks in the photos. We took the boat out each day fishing. We also took the kayaks out for a bit. With a bit of rainy weather we played games. Nicole has a wide variety of games to chose from with any unfortunate weather. When reaching out to Nicole she answered very quick with great recommendations.

My friends and I stayed for the weekend for a birthday getaway and loved it! Trevor's place was just as described and felt so cozy. The location was perfect! We enjoyed early morning walks around the neighborhood and by the lake, as well as sitting out on the porch and by the fire pit. We were so close to town where there are so many lovely restaurants and shops. Trevor provided recommendations for a few places that we did end up checking out and they were amazing! The Terrace Room, Bentwood Tavern, and Shady Creek Winery were a huge hit with my friends and I. I couldn't recommend this area and this house more for a wonderful weekend getaway or for a longer stay as well. Trevor was super friendly and responsive to all of my questions, even late into the night. Overall, great stay!

My friends and I went for a “game retreat” weekend and it was perfect! We really enjoyed the kayaks and paddle boards since you can get on the water without getting wet (since it was a little cold). There was also such a cute note welcoming us along with fresh flowers and fresh eggs! Really appreciated the personalized touch.

Seven of us (3 adults and 4 teens- ages 12-18) enjoyed our stay over Labor Day weekend! Melissa stocked the house with games (indoor and outdoor!), linens, everything you’d need in a kitchen, and even firewood for the fire pit! We were delighted to find 4 kayaks with every size life vest we could possibly need in the garage. And the kids LOVED having a bunkhouse to themselves. We spent the weekend fishing, playing games, cooking, and enjoying a private channel off the lake. It was ideal! Melissa responded incredibly quickly and was kind and thoughtful from start to finish.

The lake house was beautiful and very relaxing, it was everything we were looking for, definitely looking to book again in summer! Very responsive and helpful host, had an amazing private chef and the views are amazing!

We enjoyed our stay for the weekend. The home was comfortable and spotless. We'd love to stay here again in the future!

We had such a wonderful time at Johnnie's place. The house was located on a private beach area with lots of great activities for the whole family. It was a much needed vacation and we will be back soon!

Me and the boys had a great weekend and enjoyed the nice quiet place to catch up and make more memories!

This place was well beyond our expectations. First off the host was extremely accommodating. She accommodated my special needs for my husband’s birthday weekend. Great location as well had dinner & tasting at journeyman. So close. The cabin itself was so clean & had everything. The grounds were great & so nice to wake up to. Had coffee in the enclosed patio, took a nice walk around the resort & had such a peaceful time in the cabin. The master bedroom was so comfortable, & I’m very picky about that. This stay made me look into owning in this actual resort. My only regret is our kids are all older now, college age, that I didn’t find this place when they were younger. This is a fabulous family place. I will definitely be back, plus highly recommend this to others! Great host, clean cabin & great central location!

Lynette's cottage is incredible and full of history and nostalgia. Everything was absolutely perfect. From the comfortable beds, well stocked kitchen, to the awesome sun porch overlooking the vintage playground and the beautiful lake. Fun and relaxation was had by all the ages of our group and we a can't wait to come for longer next season.

Great place and a great location would stay here again

Grocer nearby and lots of beautiful roads to bike. I stayed for a short time but will be back. It's a series of cabins with a social area in the middle which I imagine in the summer is probably fun to mingle with the neighbors. Thank you
