The host was thoughful and stocked the fridge and pantry with applies, snacks, evey some milk. The convenience of washer and drier next to fridge was appreciated--newish machines, not from the 70s. Plenty of plates, pans, bowls--encouraged us to eat in. Small but cute balcony, great for mornings and sunset. Nice old tile in bathroom (but faucet is modern), lots of towels, can take a bath. The bedroom is larger than the picture shows--it includes a couch and a working table. So, you can use a laptop there or you can be at the kitchen table where two people have room for laptops. Lots of drawers and a closet with lots of hangers. This 3-room mini-house occupying the second floor of a beautiful old house that is central to a great neighborhood and not far from the capitol (and history museum--I will be going back). My wife is a little concerned about hauling luggage up the wooden stairway, I carry it for her, but we aging people need to match lodgings with our comforts.

We enjoyed our stay here. The house is nice, neighborhood is very beautiful and quiet. Mary was responsive and helped us when needed or when we did not find something. The kids enjoyed the basement with ping pong and foosball tables. We had only two issues. It is not specified but the host requests not to use the main dining room which is seen in the pictures. As we had beautiful days it was fine and we mostly used the outside seating area, but that should be known to guests. In addition, one of the showers is very very small and is not suitable for normal height people.

Chris was very responsive with any issues we had and took care of everything we needed quickly and efficiently. We would definitely rent this house again next time we're in town. We enjoyed it very much during our holiday visit and it felt like the perfect Christmas house! Thank you for everything Chris and Happy New Year!!

Omg Kiley , your place was amazing. Soon as I walked into the home. It felt like I was home. The home was very warm and cozy. Soon as you walk into the home it felt so home -ie. I just love the place . I didn't even want to check out. I love the view , the quietness. And also Kiley you was a great host. You kept me inform and you were easy to stay in contact with. But I live your place and I'll come back.

Great stay honestly nicer than I thought and the dogs loved it. Very cozy a lot of snacks and host provided dog stuff aswell.. the giant fenced in back yard was amazing for the dogs.

Lori’s place is a gem! It is the best of Airbnb—the kind of places that are very hard to come by. It is as clean, welcoming, thoughtfully stocked and incredibly comfortable as you can find. It feels like walking into the home of a dear friend who left you their space for your enjoyment. We are former Ann Arbor residents and the home was a perfect location for us. Super quiet and picturesque, near trails, 8 min drive to great coffee (Dozer!), amazing local bookstore (Schuler!) and 15 or so to campus proper. The beds were so comfortable—my husband and I slept like rocks which never happens 😅. Lori left careful touches like charging cords, breakfast cereals and snacks, a Bluetooth speaker and games. We look forward to staying here again!

LT's place was so nice. My family and I stayed the weekend for my birthday and it was so homey. Very comfortable atmosphere. LT was so thoughtful he bought me a card flowers and a candle which I absolutely love the scent of. He went above and beyond. Very responsive and accommodating. This will not be the last visit we have at LT's. We visit the city so much and this is by far the best place we've stayed. Thank you LT for making my birthday extra special and being so thoughtful. You were a really great host I hope the best for you and your family and I hope you have a wonderful New Year you definitely deserve it. I rate Lt's place a 10/10!

This is an excellent choice to stay,. so many options of things to do that are within walk distance or a 3 minute drive to the lake. A few seconds from a little quaint downtown area. She goes beyond to make sure you have everything you need and then some. Plenty of parking and a nice quiet backyard to hang out and relax. We will definitely see if her place is available on our next trip. Great host!!!

Cheryl's place was better than expected‼️ It was roomier than photos depicted, well equipped, very clean, had luxury linens, and included drinks and snacks❣️ Will consider staying there again 😁

We loved staying at this lovely home. Barbara was an amazing host and always reachable if needed. Even shoveled the driveway for us when there was a snowstorm. Recommend to anyone staying in the Soo area.

This is my favorite property in Niles! Always an awesome property to stay at. Quiet, clean, spacious, and the hosts really do think of everything to make you feel comfortable and welcome.

This was the best stay I’ve ever EVER had on air bnb. The owners were the most accommodating out of 11 other bookings I’ve had. If I could rate 10 stars I would, maybe more. I was 950+ miles away from home but felt like I was back at home. I loved this place and appreciate the owners so very much. Please! Give them the pleasure and book here!!

I stayed at Kara’s during a self directed retreat. It was a cozy and clean place to do so. And as a solo traveler, I felt safe. Kara was incredibly responsive and was happy to provide some additional kitchen ware that I needed. I had the pleasure of chatting with Kara one day while she was cleaning the adjacent apartment and it was such a lovely encounter. A few things to note: 1. All guests walk past the one window to enter the house. 2. If you’re a light sleeper, bring ear plugs. With the charm of an old house comes the thin walls and since you share a wall with main door, you can hear (and feel) everyone coming and going. 3. The house is situated on a busy one way street so depending on which direction you’re coming or going in you may need to circle around. I would definitely stay with Kara again when in Kalamazoo. It’s hard to fine a clean and well priced Airbnb with such a great host!

Only here for a short trip but this was a great place for what we needed. Worth the price and is close by to downtown which was ideal for us. Definitely would recommend if you wanna be close by to downtown!

We loved our stay at this beautiful Airbnb! It was so inviting and full of charm. We felt right at home. The location couldn't have been better. Jacqueline was an amazing host and I would recommend this to anyone! She made us feel super comfortable, welcomed and at home. She had wrote a list of waterfalls for us to visit and in a specific order. Breakfast every morning was amazing and she even made cakes and desserts every night! I could not have asked for a better stay. If you are even on this page checking her out, just book it!! You won’t regret it. Super sweet lady and beautiful home. Our stay with Daniel was amazing. My boyfriend and I needed a weekend getaway and we could not have been more thankful to find this gem of a home. Every morning, breakfast is served (Eggs, sausage, potatoes yogurt, etc). On weekends, there were mimosas as well. Coffee and tea throughout the day. The hosts were kind, open, and respectful of everyone's space but also made sure to ask if there was anything you needed. The property was absolutely gorgeous, even though it was the dead of winter. The bedroom was safe and comfortable with a private bathroom. It truly was one of the best places to stay. The hosts put so much love, energy, and time into the bed and breakfast. If you get a chance to stay here, do not pass up the opportunity.

Melanie's place was the ideal stay. She was very friendly and accommodating (letting us drop off some items several hours before checking in; and accommodating an early breakfast so that we could travel on the "Badger"). Everything was clean and comfortable, and the food was amazing! The afternoon snack was an entire dessert buffet, and breakfast was another bountiful buffet (more variety than at many restaurants!). There was also a 24/7 ice cream freezer and a beverage fridge! A great location - close to restaurants, parks , and the Badger. Would highly recommend this BnB!

Sherry and Tim made us feel at home, shared wonderful conversations, provided privacy, and served amazing breakfast. With Sherry’s technical understanding to the climate, their “original wine selection” is diverse and delicious. Tim’s Chef expertise is best in class, and their home is spaciously comfortable. My wife and I could not have enjoyed ourselves more and we will certainly repeat our stay. Highly recommend!

Wow! What a great place and gem. We were greeted by Michael upon arriving and he showed us everything to the Airbnb. The place was spotless and very comfortable. There were snacks for us upon arrival. The beds were comfortable. The best part was the complimentary breakfast! Like a real bnb. Thank you so much Michael and linda!!!

Krista and Michael were awesome hosts. They were very friendly and offered a number of things to do. There house is walking distance to all the shopping in Frunkenmuth. Highly recommend!

We had a very nice stay. Jeanne is a lovely host. Everything was just as expected from the description. Jeanne was very communicative and helpful with arrival and check-in. We will stay here again when we are back in town. We would love to try her homemade muffins, which smelled so good. Unfortunately, we had to leave before they were done.
