The Barn was beautiful, set in gorgeous surroundings with lovely views from every window. The pool was fab and we loved that there was a timetable so everyone had a private time slot. Lovely touch arriving to a cream tea and fresh milk from the farm! We had a lovely stay. Emma

A stunning cottage, very clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable and lovely stay away from home. The hot tub was a fantastic addition and a fun activity for a cold and miserable winters day. Liz was very helpful and a wonderful host. Thank you for a great stay!

Lovely family get together for a big birthday. Kitchen was well equipped with a big table for communal dining. Take an oven glove as I couldn’t find one even though they had everything else. Enjoyed the hot tub, sauna and marshmallows by the fire pit. Lots of birds in the garden to watch. Comfortable but stylish cosy accommodation. A bit in the sticks and the walk by the lake was very muddy and abandoned part way round. We didn’t venture too far from the house other than an alpaca walk near Taunton. A really enjoyable long weekend - thank you

What a fantastic place. You instantly felt like home from the moment you walked in, really clean and had everything you needed to cook meals from scratch in the kitchen. Great location if you don’t want to drive, everything is a couple minutes walk from the house - can easily walk to the beach or the shops without driving. Bonus for us, there was an EV charger that Sue remote controlled so we could just plug in and top the car up. Would love to stay again, not sure we’ll ever get weather this good again though.

We had a lovely stay as a group of 6 adults. Staff were lovely and went the extra mile. The house we stayed in was exceptionally clean and tidy. The kitchen was very well equipped with everything we would need. Would recommend to others.

This was hands down the most wonderful holiday property I have ever stayed in. It was beautifully clean, spotless even. It has every single amenity that you could possibly need, and then some. Everything from the layout, to the furniture, decoration, the really lovely basket of treats and the warmth of the hosts makes this a magical place. The hot tub was a huge hit with me and my son, a perfect temperature constantly and great for stargazing, and owl watching after dark. Thank you so much Lisa and Tim, for the most relaxing and most comfortable break I've ever had. Can't wait to book again.

Our stay was absolutely perfect! The host went above and beyond, communicating quickly and making everything effortless. The house is stunning—beautifully decorated, incredibly homely, and so spacious. With 15 of us, including children, there was plenty of room for everyone to relax. The huge dining table was perfect for group meals, and the kitchen had everything we needed—loads of crockery, cutlery, and top-quality appliances. The beds were super comfortable, the showers worked perfectly, and every detail was well thought out. The location was spot-on, and nothing was scrimped on. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay—highly recommend!

We had a wonderful stay at Coombe Villa. Simon and Charlie were so helpful and responsive. They really went over and above to help us and provide anything that we needed. The house is great and so well equipped with everything that you could need. We travelled with two very young children and it was ideal - everything very easy and cots, blackout blinds and more were provided. The house is spotless and so well designed. It’s within easy walking distance of lots of amenities and the guidebook provided by the hosts was so helpful. We would highly recommend this thank you for such a great stay!

Had a wonderful time. The place felt very secluded with amazing amenities and stunning sea view. Neil was very friendly and helpful too and even left us chocolates and champagne to help us celebrate a special occasion. Would love to stay here again sometime.

Super place to stay for the holidays. Great location with a few walking routes. The lodge was very clean and tidy, and super additions such as a hot tub and a teapot (Husband loved it as it reminded him of his mum's house).

very nice, clean, bright, and spacious area! dog friendly, which was great for us. Our dog was able to roam around freely and relax in different rooms without strangers as there were so many rooms to spend time I'm away from your bedroom. Anthony was very friendly, very responsive over app, and great with our dog who can be nervous around men. hottub was a great addition. no issues here! depending on the guests who stay with you depends on how loud or quiet the communal area is at night, we had a family playing muical doors at 10pm each night, but was very quiet and peaceful once everyone settled. Good location to travel around Devon! would definitely recommend it!

Antony was amazing host ,very respectful and understanding , I will definitely recommend who is looking for quite and relaxing place to stay . Place is very looked after and can be more than 5 star rated hotels ,as long you ok to comunicate with some pll who is sharing it perfect it can get a bit uncofortable for those who is looking proper isolation . Had a fabulous time. Dogs. Welcome every we’re. Children walked Alpacas and went horse ridding. They loved it all . The youngest (6) . Cried cause she wonted to stay haha .So glad we came .

An excellent weekend was had to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary with family. The property had everything we needed and there were few issues. The weather was excellent and our grandchildren loved the hot tub, large gardens, pool table, badminton, table tennis which gave them many hours of enjoyment. There was plenty of opportunity for relaxing with the extensive book shelves and TVs in both properties. An ideal property for a multi generational gathering, very well equipped kitchen/bathrooms with copious crockery, glasses and cooking facilities as well as many towels. Highly recommended.

Had a lovely time celebrating our wedding anniversary. Very peaceful area, lovely set up with shepherds hut/kitchen garden, and hot tub pre heated ready for our arrival!

Me and my partner have just finished our stay with alpine grove and would highly recommend visiting. We stayed in the woodpecker lodge and from the log burner to the hot tub everything about this lodge was perfect, Kieth and Serena service is amazing and we can’t wait to visit again soon. Stunning place although we thought it would be more private. The cabin was adjacent to another one and overlooked. The hot tub was not private but overlooked by adjacent cabin and also security cameras which felt a little intrusive. The adjacent cabin was not occupied but we still felt the distance between cabin and hot tub / outdoor bar was not private and overlooked by cameras which was not made entirely clear in description. The property itself was delightful, well appointed and equipped. Can’t fault the service. We just didn’t like the lack of privacy in the outdoor areas.

I honestly don't know where to start - the most beautiful Air BnB we've stayed in. the cabin itself is absolutely stunning and the location next to the lake and surrounded by the farmland and livestock is just gorgeous. William and Ariana were super helpful and communicative, very clear instructions on how to find the cabin and get inside and were very responsive during our stay if we had any questions. The cabin is warm and comfortable, the bed super comfy too (and I'm really fussy in that respect!). The incredible views out of both sides upstairs are what really blew my mind - no blinds or curtains was perfect for me as I love to wake up with the sunrise, but if you prefer to sleep in, perhaps bring an eye mask with you! Hot tub spotlessly clean and not overlooked except by the somewhat curious cows and sheep. The dogs loved it too. Recommend walks such as the Golden Cap and Hells Lane. Don't miss Lulworth Cove and Durdle Door on your way in or out!

Myself and my partner really enjoyed our stay and were really impressed with the grounds , everything was clean and beautiful . All the little touches were excellent and appreciated so much , there were a beautiful bouquet of roses , items in the cupboard and fridge which were a nice touch as there’s always something we forget ! , We were given the opportunity to use the pool table and darts board on our last evening as the lodge was empty that night , which I thought was a lovely touch , and also gave me the opportunity to beat my other half at a game of pool. The hot tub was a great feature ! And the communication from the hosts was excellent and very informative and although we didn’t have any problems , I knew if there was , they’d be on it . We will definitely be back again . Thank you .

Advisable to have a 4x4 vehicle as long lane to the cabin was full of pot holes. My daughter and i stayed beginning of April 2025, the weather was with us 👌. Well equipped cabin although he sofa(sofabed) was really uncomfortable to sit on for too long. The hot tub was clean and easy to use. We had a short walk to local shop ( you will need provisions as we had milk and packet biscuits as welcome pack)passing interesting houses of the village. We visited nearby towns of Looe,Liskeard. Pleasant peaceful stay.
