We had a wonderful stay at Bridesmere over New Year and it was just what we needed. Peaceful, beautiful area, lovely comfortable home from home. We appreciated the enclosed garden for our spaniel, the beautiful and spacious bedrooms and the living area which was large enough for all 7 of us, two families. WiFi was strong upstairs so no issue with all of us connected and the tv had all apps we needed to watch films with no buffering. There is a beautiful walk through the forest along the river just minutes from the house which leads to a very nice pub serving good food. As other reviews mention, the kids room smells a little musty/damp but this was not a huge issue and we opened the bathroom window after showering which helped. Kitchen well stocked but knives are a little blunt! Children loved the games barn and not having to bring bikes with us was really helpful and appreciated. Overall we couldn’t have asked for a nicer stay and we would definitely return. Thank you for having us.

I very much enjoyed my stay. The property is in an idyllic location. The peaceful atmosphere made for a very relaxing few days. Agnes always responded to any requests and I would love to return sometime in the future.

Super Kommunikation, sehr sauber, Handtücher, Bettwäsche, Tabs für Spülmaschine und Waschmaschine waren ebenso vorhanden wie Händehandtücher. Super schöner, gepflegter Garten. Fußläufig entfernter Strand. Zur Begrüßung gab es sogar ein super leckeres Bananenbrot. Wir haben es genossen.

Harriet's house was perfect for our family get together. the house is maintained to a high standard with all kitchen facilities that could possibly be needed. The sofas and all seating was extremely comfortable as we're the beds. the large downstairs kitchen, diner and livingroom meant nobody was left out, playing games, eating etc. We will look forward to visiting again soon.

An absolutely awesome place to stay at great value! As soon as the door was opened it could be seen that the place is well looked after to a high standard. Located in a very peaceful location, you can almost hear the silence - great if you want to get away from the city and have some time out from every day life. The juxtaposition of the house, the sea, the woods, brilliant walking routes, breathtaking views and more is something to behold. An easy drive into the bigger towns from the house and the dedicated parking space made life very easy! The corner shop is just a few doors down and was handy for those forgotten bits and pieces. Wil definitely be staying here again in the warmer months. Thank you Louise for hosting.

Had a lovely stay here, really homely and felt bigger than in the photos! We are familiar with the area and this was the perfect base for our visit. The cottage has everything you need, great kitchen set up with everything to cater for ourselves, bedroom was roomy and comfortable and bathroom had a lovely shower with good water pressure :D Highly recommend a stay here and we hope to be back in future! Me and the family (5 adults plus 2 dogs!) stopped at this property, & it was perfect! The surroundings are beautiful & peaceful, & the wood fired hot tub really is such a luxury! Pollyanna & her family were friendly & extremely helpful. Communicating instructions prior to arrival, along with being there to welcome us, & on hand for anything needed during our stay. The property itself was spacious & had everything we needed, whilst being located a short drive away from points of interest in the area! Can not recommend this place enough, & would love to return myself one day!

Badgers House was the perfect venue and location for a large family break. House was well equipped and comfortably furnished. The indoor pool proved a knockout with the children - especially as the weather wasn’t great! The indoor games room was a hit for the male adults, who enjoyed hours of pool, and they hit the gym too. The woodland walk was perfect, we spotted a male deer, the children loved it! Hide and seek in the house was so exciting and kept the little ones entertained for hours! Thank you to Max and Alex for being superb hosts and giving us this beautiful home and setting to enjoy. Our granddaughter broke her heart to have to leave! We will definitely be returning and may need Toad Hall next time for more family members to come along and enjoy the beauty of this peaceful place.

Cannot imagine a more beautiful and peaceful setting for this magnificent house and extensive grounds. Everything was perfect, the hosts charming, friendly, approachable, helpful. The apartment spacious, extremely well equipped and comfortable. The views of the coast and Exmoor are stunning, no photo can reproduce them faithfully, and you are 100 metres away from an array of paths. Thanks for the privilege of staying at your place.

We had a great stay at Zaneta’s place on our way down to Cornwall with 2 children in tow. The space was exactly as described, clean and cosy with beautiful decor. Great communication from Zaneta, I didn’t have to question a thing! This is our 4th stay at Royal William’s Yard, the location has everything you need right on your doorstep and is a stunning upmarket spot. Will definitely return.

Jo and Graham are great hosts. My dog and I felt welcome immediately. Very good amenities and beautiful surroundings. They went above and beyond for me.

We had a fantastic time. The accommodation was clean and tidy, the views were delightful. the children enjoyed playing in the games room, meeting the animals and relaxing in the hot tub. The hosts were kind, friendly and engaging and made our stay a delight.

Great Host, great caravan, close to onsite amenities and around a ten minute walk to beach front, great location to explore the surrounding areas. Will definitely be going again 😊.

I can't say enough about how amazing Cherilyn is! She went above and beyond for us. Her property is in an exquisite area, and had everything we needed. The village has lots of quaint, and interesting nooks and crannies to explore. Just the right balance between nature and a lovely, friendly village. Two fresh, local Cornish pasties were waiting for us on arrival, and they were to die for 😋 I would highly recommend staying here! Thanks again for having us in your lovely annex. We will be back!! ❤️

Cannot fault this place and if this is the area you wish to visit, this is the place to stay. The loft is spotless with ample room and a lovely sunrise over the lake across the road is not to be missed. Jen is a terrific host and extremely friendly and approachable. She is proactive in the communication and offers extremely helpful advice on directions and things to do in the area. I will be looking to go back to the area again later this summer and will certainly be looking to stay with Jen again!

We had a lovely weekend at Sophia’s place . The cottage was lovely , so well kept and the kitchen had everything we needed with plenty of plates and cups so we weren’t constantly needing to wash up . It was so spacious even with 9 of us there and Sophia was really welcoming and helpful when we needed extra fire lighters . The swimming pool was a brilliant addition and we definitely made the most of it . Would come again and happily recommend to others .

This is a perfect cottage in a perfect spot. We have loved coming here again. Everything was great with the accomodation, well equiped, comfy beds, love the log burner, really appreciate the parking permit. Nothing negative to say, wish I lived here. Thanks for a great stay.

We've stayed with Julie last yeat and we were as happy this time as we were the first. Lovely and friendly and showed me the other accommodations she has which were beautiful and very well thought out with everything you could possibly need. We will definitely be going again. I cannot fault this accommodation at all.

Lovely little cottage in good location with river view from upstairs and parking. Easy access to plymouth centre by ferry and bus, friendly pubs nearby serving food and acces to coastal path for good walks from the doorstep.

Had a fabulous stay at Olivia’s Orchard cottage. Lots to do with farm animals around, Games room, outdoor games and lots of walks to relax and unwind at the property. Property was in proximity to Plymouth and Looe and found it very convenient to explore by car from here.

I Really enjoyed my stay at The Old Hayloft. Patrick was extremely helpful and the welcome basket was a lovely and thoughtful surprise. The accommodation provided everything I needed to make me feel right at home, very clean and the bed was perfect. I would definitely recommend anyone to stay here.

Sophie is so friendly and helpful. The house is stunning, absolutely spotless and has everything and more that need for a break away from home. The chickens and horses kept my grandsons happy. The hot tub is a lovely extra Snug was perfect for 4 boys to chill in and the kitchen is excellent All the bedrooms and bathrooms are top class, comfy and warm. We can’t wait to return.
