Absolutely perfect! There was everything you needed, all the essentials were there, for a stress free stay. Nicola was very friendly, kept good communications and gave lots of instructions on how to find the property. The house was beautifully decorated, clean and tidy . The downstairs bedroom with bathroom was especially good for my elderly mum. We appreciated the scones milk and bread that was ready for us. Honestly, it was perfect, lovely to be able to walk to the town, beach and coastal walk. Nicola was so lovely. Thank you, would recommend to anybody.

We stayed 5 nights and found the house very comfortable and spacious for a longer stay. Our hosts Annie and Paddy were delightful and provided everything for the log burner which was especially nice on cold nights. The location is convenient for Plymouth and easy access to Dartmoor and Cornwall. Some background traffic noise from the A38 but otherwise a very peaceful location. Saltram House close by and definitely worth a visit.

We really enjoyed our stay! We loved the decor, lots of great artwork and spotlessly clean. Everything you could want for your stay. The rooms were big and spacious. Lovely garden space for our dog. We really appreciated the little gifts as well. Responsive and great recommendations, we loved The Thatched Tavern. Walking distance to beaches, shops and restaurants! We’d highly recommend!

We stayed at Tristan’s beautiful house for 3 nights - 3 generations to celebrate a 85th birthday! It was perfect for us, the garage was a godsend for 1 car & to keep my father-in-law’s mobility scooter in! The location was amazing, a couple of pubs literally on the doorstep, the beach a 1 min stroll. Tristan was great at communicating - there was a little hiccup (nothing serious) and he sorted it immediately. Would we go back - in a heartbeat. Thanks for a great stay.

Another great stay here! Comfortable and cosy -home from home- with space to feed us all including local family. Brilliantly situated for walks, the town and bus station. We went to the swimming pool too this time. Thank you Rachel, especially for your speedy response. We look forward to our next stay.

We had a lovely stay. The eggs, bacon, bread, cream tea and other bits were a really nice touch - thank you. Comfy beds.

An amazing spot, truly is a perfect hideaway. The view is spectacular and very quiet and serene with the log burner going. Nice location just off the SW Coastal path and a short walk down the hill into town. Also perfect for dogs with the large garden and walks on the doorstep. Only thing to note is that the living accom is more ‘Airbnb’ whilst the bedroom and bathroom is more ‘glamping’, but that’s clear from the description and photos and we were very happy with it for the price.

Lisa was very helpful everything explained fully from the start! The caravan was lovely warm and welcoming! we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely return. Highly recommend!

Really lovely lodge, spotlessly clean and beautifully furnished and the layout is brilliant ! A few very minor things that would be useful is just perhaps a little welcome pack with some milk / coffee/ butter and maybe a mini jam/ biscuits and in the bathrooms a sachet of shampoo/ conditioner/ shower gel / soap perhaps. Just for late arrivers… as we were after a very, very, long journey. We only had one night there sadly and would definately like a longer stay in this beautiful place but it is such a long journey for us. Highly recommended though !

I visited for the evening to see my grandparents as I live in wales and they live in Devon. The bungalow was immaculate, helpful guide provided, the rooms are huge and the blankets and towels are a lovely touch. The shower was good too as it was really warm. The heating does take a while whilst on boost but once warmed up it’s lovely. We did feel a draft from the window and the curtains moved but we were in a storm so that’s understandable. Would have loved more sugars and maybe milk as there wasn’t a shop on site.

We had a wonderful stay. Jo is such a lovely host, our 5 year old has a wonderful time feeding the chickens and playing with ruby the dog. When we left he said ‘I miss Jo’. Looking forward to our next visit already.

Three friends in their 40’s away for a short weekend. Perfect place to catch up. Pool was wonderful to have. Pub a stones throw away. Easy to stroll around the country lanes and fields. Very clean in all rooms and kitchen well equipped for cooking. Jacqui was on hand whilst respecting our privacy. We would return.

Wow. What a stunning place to stay Beautiful house. Amazing grounds and scenery. Pool tennis court and bar with games room was a great addition. Alistair was a fabulous host. Very friendly most informative and a genuinely nice guy. Would highly recommend the clay pigeon shoot on the lawn which Alistair organised. 10 out of 10 will definitely return in the near future. Thankyou Alistair for an awesome weekend!

Me and my partner have just finished our stay with alpine grove and would highly recommend visiting. We stayed in the woodpecker lodge and from the log burner to the hot tub everything about this lodge was perfect, Kieth and Serena service is amazing and we can’t wait to visit again soon. We used Yvonne’s bungalow as a stop over whilst travelling home after visiting family in Bristol. It was very easy to find despite being in a rural location, our sat nav took us straight there and the directions Yvonne provided were also very easy to follow. Upon arrival we felt right at home, the bungalow is very clean and homey and the grounds are beautiful, we were lucky to have nice weather so we took full advantage of taking in the lovely views and surroundings. Although we only stayed 1 night we definitely could have stayed a lot longer! We would not hesitate in booking this lovely bungalow again in the future. Thanks again 😊

Myself, my partner and our dog have just returned home after a 2 night stay at Debbie's private apartment. We arrived later than expected, but we were greeted as soon as we got to the drive away. The apartment was exactly how it was shown, very clean, cosy and the bed was very comfy! We really enjoyed our stay, we visited Putsborough beach which was a 15 minute drive away and we also went for dinner at Ebrington Arms, which was a 3 minute drive away. Thanks again for a great stay!

Superb cottage with very good facilities set in a great location to explore and enjoy Dorset and the Jurassic coast. We would return again.

We had a very peaceful stay at the cabin, which is very cosy and welcoming and flooded with natural light - we felt at home straight away. The views are incredible and the sauna was an added extra which we made the most of. The location peaceful and the nearby beaches great. Kitchen and living room had everything we needed as well!
