We only stayed one night but the home was very clean. Easy to find and close to shops, restaurants and beach. Our his was very responsive and nice. We would stay here again.

David was very welcoming and the Airbnb well provided with utensils for serving larger number of guests but not only that included games and entertainment. Was even very welcoming with offering to use some fresh vegetables on site, overall the place was beautiful and was a very peaceful stay .

This was our fourth stay at Misty River Lodge and won’t be our last. My family, including our little Jack Russell Terrier, loves Helen and Craig’s place. I especially love seeing how the gardens have evolved. We enjoy visiting the beaches up and down the coast — Scotts Head is a favourite — and we love to find new places to eat. Coffs Harbour is only a 45 minute drive north and South West Rocks is just 30 minutes south, so it’s a really central location and close to the highway but so quiet and peaceful. The bird song is relaxing and if you’re an early riser, you might even see the local swamp wallaby down near the creek. We were treated to fresh quail eggs, deliciously sweet tomatoes and tasty vegetables from the garden. As Helen said when we arrived… “Welcome home!” … because it does feel like a home away from home.

Cliff was very helpful in sending through lots of suggestions of places we could visit during our stay. The accommodation is well maintained and in a very quiet area for a relaxing stay. it is also a reasonably short drive from local beaches and facilities in Forster, the lake is only a short walk down the road, and our dog was comfortable in the fully enclosed back yard. We enjoyed our time staying here.

Fantastic setup. Received a lovely welcome pack on arrival and plenty of leisure equipment available (kayaks and a shed full of other water activities for the whole family). Quiet surroundings and a short walk to fabulous restaurants and lake shoreline.

Anna’s place was a delight. Her homemade biscuits were awesome!! Anna was there to welcome our dogs and us to her home. Such gorgeous gardens, Anna certainly has a green thumb. Thank you for your hospitality, your Airbnb, was a home away from home, perfect after a long drive.

Suzie's place was absolutely divine. peaceful serenity, even with the downpours of rain. The welcome basket was a lovely little treat as well! Greatly appreciated after a day of travel. Would highly recommend a stay!

Lisa's place is absolutely amazing, the views are gorgeous the house was clean spacious & the beds were comfortable. The kids had a blast with fishing & kyaking with so much to explore. The local seafood shop was so fresh, We really enjoyed our stay. Lisa was an awsome host thank you for a wonderful stay

Our stay at Sam’s Wilderness Cottage was incredible. We last minute booked a couple of days to hide out the rain and boy are we glad we did. The Cottage is pure magic. Sam and Louis have thought about absolutely everything and were extremely friendly and helpful in every aspect. The privacy and ambiance of the whole cottage was fantastic and the surroundings were breathtaking. A lovely large secured yard for our doggies also a huge bonus, it’s rare to find a genuinely dog friendly place and this ticked all the boxes. With beautiful walks of varying fitness levels and the cutest goats wandering around, the Wilderness Cottage is a perfect place to come to unwind and disconnect and just enjoy being a human in nature while having the creature comforts within the cottage!! We didn’t want to leave and felt so at peace!! 20/10 stars for Sam and Louis for the magic they have created - and thank you again for sharing it with us!!

Patersons Skywalk was a lovely location overlooking the river valley and train line. Short walk into Paterson. Enjoyed dinner in the Paterson pub. Great place to stay for a couple of nights

We know this lovely area fairly well and had just cleared out our place nearby prior to settlement of its sale. Steve's place was a lovely place to stay after we had cleared ours out and it just suited our needs. We intend staying again as we will still be visiting close family in the area from time to time and Steve's place ticks all our boxes.

Suzie is so lovely, the kids loved the pool and we really enjoyed evenings by the outside fire, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be back!

Great cabin located inside the Eaglereach Wilderness retreat. This particular cabin was nice and private, tucked away from the other houses. It had everything we needed for a comfy stay, and enough games to keep our kids entertained on a VERY rainy day! The facilities in the complex are great too: pool, outdoor gym, playground, small dam (for paddling), tennis court and rec room with pool table and ping pong table. A great holiday spot, all within east reach of Sunday. Sensational views too!

We had a great time. Louise from the start was helpful. Property is so beautiful and peaceful, away from civilisation I would say. Perfect getaway if you want to relax for a few days. House was clean and very cosy. Would definitely recommend and come back again ☺️

Fantastic place to take the kids and dogs! Plenty of space for the dogs to run - and walking trails in the state forest. The pool is beautiful - like being at a resort! And warm no matter the weather - the kids were in there even in the rain. Cabin is well equipped with everything you could want and the private fire pit was a big hit.

My family and I enjoyed our little getaway at this cabin/house. A cosy spot away from the crowd with a pleasant wake up call from birds every morning. The blackout curtains were a bonus allowing us to sleep in. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will come back to stay again.

The most beautiful weekend getaway. So many beautiful personal touches in the cabin. That made us feel very welcome. Fresh hand picked garden roses. Herbs and fresh eggs from the chickens. Just sad we didn’t have longer. To enjoy cooking them up. We were too busy taking in the great food from Steam n Cedar. And dinners at The Heritage Hotel. Both great spots. Liesel was the best host. Highly recommend staying here. We got to day trip to some great beaches and catch up with friends along the way. Can’t wait to stay again
