We recently stayed at Joanne’s home in the Brighton Hove area. We were an extended family with 7 adults and 3 children. There was plenty of room for everyone with large bedrooms and comfortable beds. A wonderful Kitchin area with plenty of room to gather. The most amazing doors that open out to a beautiful and private yard. The home was a short walk to the beach, or to the bus (very reliable and comes often) to get to town. There is a tesco nearby as well as cafes for a morning coffee and bakery treat. The only item to be aware of is that the stairs are a bit steep so if you have accessibility issues, this might not be the right fit. Overall, we would highly recommend this property and certainly rent again. Thank you Joanne! Beth

This was a return visit to this lovely house. The house is bright, clean, well equipped, and not cluttered at all. The kitchen is bright and has everything you'd need. Old Town is a lovely area of Eastbourne. We are a family of four, the bedroom set up is perfect for us. There are nice playgrounds in Gildredge Park and the nearby recreation ground (i forget the name). Recommended :)

Stayed here with my Wife and Son (18 months) for 1 week and was very happy with our stay. The house is a good size and location was ideal. Graham was a very accommodating host and answered any questions we had very quickly, despite being on holiday at the time (sorry Graham). Sad we did not get to use the rear patio due to cold/wet weather but looks like a lovely spot to spend your time in the warmer months. Great stay. Will definitely be back!

Stayed at Marina's place for a recent stag, location is ideal for Brighton with an easy walkable distance to Brighton Centre. The aesthetic of the place was really fun and lively and the communal areas were great for the amount of people we had staying.

We had a fantastic stay here, a lovely house which is perfectly located for enjoying all Brighton has to offer! Renny was a great host and always happy to help. Would definitely recommend!

I stayed at James’ place with 12 friends for my hen do. It was a great base for us - central location, easy to check-in and lots of space for us all to be together in the house. Beds were all comfy and had all the amenities we needed including towels, hairdryer, tv etc. 2 girls were sleeping on the sofa bed in the living room- it was comfy but would recommend an eye mask if you’re a light sleeper. Charley was really responsive and helpful! Would definitely recommend for a group trip.

Joanna was incredibly helpful from the moment I first enquired about the property. She was very communicative, very friendly and was accommodating throughout. She was able to offer additional support regarding the needs of my elderly parents and the property itself was lovely, clean and very close to the city centre. I highly recommend.

Great location, very close to the train station and the Lanes. The beach is a 10–15 minute walk, but the walk is very nice because you can go through the Lanes, which is full of cool local stores and places to eat or have a coffee. There are lots of pubs nearby, and a 24/7 convenience store just outside the building. At first, we didn’t know how to turn on the heating, but we sent a message to the owner, and he explained - there were instructions on how to turn it on, but all the radiators were turned off. Everything else in the house was great and clean. There is a nice terrace with a view where you can smoke or have a coffee.

Perfect for what we wanted! Nice little area for a few nice children’s parks and national trust place. Cottage was perfect, everything we needed in the kitchen, clean, and comfy bed! Little park right opposite and one stop few minutes walk. Hosts were very helpful and inviting and the welcome gift was a lovely thought.

Very quiet house, as described, and very comfortable inside. Parking space was clearly marked. EV charging in local car parks, a very short walk away. Would stay again.

Wonderful , our only thought was we could have done with 2 more outdoor chairs as the weather was so good. Maybe some more mugs and glasses too ? Would return ...

Roz was kind and helpful. She told us of events in the area and provided us with helpful information. The kitchen was stocked with treats and snacks on arrival. We had eight people stay and the house accommodated us all nicely.

Very well kept property, lovely amenities provided, comfortable beds and good showers. Location right by the train station made getting into London very easy.

The place was amazing, spotless and exactly as described. Highly recommend this one!

Great stay, lovely property had all the amenities needed for our stay, ample parking outside the property which was excellent! Super close within Walking distance to shops and the Instructions and information for accessing the property were great! Would recommend

Nice cosy home. Basement kitchen and living area was a nice space to retreat to at the end of the day - perfect location for us, easy walk to the north lanes - fantastic Japanese/korean place to eat O’shio a few minutes walk away and couple of pubs at the end of the street. We visited in Feb so was cold and didn’t use the outdoor space - but would have made a nice spot to chill out in when warmer - Mathew was good, quick to respond with info etc - check-in etc all very nice easy. Would stay again next time we back in the uk/brighton!

Great location. We didn’t use the car once which is the sign of a good break. We managed to find a parking space less than 1 minute walk away which was ideal. House was lovely. Beds comfy and felt like home after a few days. Loved all the houseplants too. We didn’t use the garden or balcony as it was cold but would be great in warmer months. Pumpkin was well behaved too. Thank you.

We felt right at home in this great split-level home. The sunny roof terrace and sea view from some windows was a real bonus. Everything was immaculate and super practical - thank you for a great base in Brighton and Hove.

We had a fantastic time at No 2, it was perfectly positioned for everything we wanted to do. It’s very roomy and well kitted out with everything you would need. I would definitely stay again and recommend to anyone else. Philippa was a brilliant host who was very helpful and great at communicating everything.

We loved the house and fab location. It ticked all the boxes for a perfect getaway break. Hope to return another time and stay for longer!

C’était parfait, nous avons eu un coup de cœur pour cette si jolie et cosy maison, très propre, très fonctionnelle et très confortable. Avec un beau petit jardin. Bravo à Jill pour la rénovation ! Jill a aussi toujours été réactive et nous a parfaitement accompagnés, le processus d’accueil est très bon. Nous y avons passé un excellent séjour à la découverte de Brighton et de ses environs. Nous sommes également allés à Londres, c’était vraiment facile avec la gare de Portslade à moins de 10 min à pied. Il y a aussi des commerces à proximité. Les permis de stationnement fournis par Jill nous ont été très utiles étant venus de France en voiture. Nous serions bien restés plus longtemps et espérons avoir l’occasion de revenir dans cette maison !

This was a beautiful property, really nicely situated in a lovely town, with everything you need for an extended stay. The host is very friendly and super responsive and helpful. Thoroughly recommend staying here.

A lovely little mews house with a spacious living room and kitchen, comfortable beds and lots of thoughtful design choices which add character. To be able to park the car and easily walk to everything that Brighton has to offer was a huge plus, as was having a little outside space. We were amazed and much appreciated how quiet it was at night. We live in fairly remote countryside and so often struggle with road noise when staying overnight in towns - this was perfect. There were only two of us - and our baby granddaughter who visited for a while - if we had been 6 adults eating in, I think we might have struggled with the small size of the dishwasher and the limited amount of crockery. For two it was no problem. The kitchen itself is a great size and has lots of work surfaces.
