We love the house 🏠 clean decoration beach team. We loved the fire pits for roasting s’mores the kids love the corn hold game. Lots of trees private. The views from the deck on the lake was calming. Definitely would stay again. Host was very good responsive and friendly.

We were here for a work trip in West Point, VA. We were originally planning on staying in West Point, but the properties were way out of budget. Anthony’s place was perfect. It was a short drive to the job site and town. It was within budget. He was super responsive and his place was exactly what we needed!!

We had an amazing stay at Brad’s house! The location was perfect and our families enjoyed sharing the space! Looking forward to our next adventure in Deltaville!

Our family absolutely loved the tranquility of being right on the water, the home was decorated perfectly and very clean. This is a true gem in Deltaville!

This house is genuinely cute as a button, every space was thoughtfully put together, from the well stocked kitchen (spices, in a short term! Bless y'all!), to the extremely comfortable beds and living room. It was also a breath of fresh air to know my precious lab was not only welcome, but clearly considered, bowls, a sweet note, and some bags for cleaning up were waiting for us upon arrival. My kiddos adored the smores supplies, and we may have all fought over the peanuts, too. It was so lovely to have beach towels, people towels, and dog towels. I do wish the sitting room had a door, but it was very clearly listed and shown in the pictures, and the way the house / bedrooms are divided, it really did have a good amount of privacy. The screened in porch and the grounds of the house are lovely too, and its such a small thing, but the bird feeder supplied more joy to everyone than I really could have ever anticipated. We'll be back! Thank you so much for sharing such a little gem!

Extremely well appointed, and everything worked wonderfully.

This home is fantastic! It’s beautifully updated, very clean, and fully stocked with everything you need for a perfect weekend getaway. The view is beautiful, and we spent a lot of time relaxing on the boat dock. The host was friendly, responsive, and knowledgeable about the area. He even went above and beyond to research which restaurants would be open during the off-season, which was greatly appreciated. My husband and I are already looking forward to booking another weekend here this winter. Highly recommend this lovely home!

I think the Northern Neck as a winter destination is severely under rated! Cozy cozy cozy! I love the knotty pine room that looks out over Prentice Creek and across as the the conserved Ditchley Ciderworks' woods. There's another bald eagle!

Comfortable apartment with plenty of room and many thoughtful touches. Fluffy towels, tasteful nautical decor appropriate to the area, had everything we needed. The fenced in backyard was very much appreciated by our dogs. We had a great night sleep in such a quiet neighborhood. Glenn and his wife are wonderful hosts, very welcoming and fun to chat with. Looking forward to a return visit.

My wife and I have stayed at The Fish House several times. It is a wonderful respite from our urban home life. A great place to relax and appreciate the Northern Neck lifestyle. We love it here!

The place was clean and well stocked. I couldn’t think of anything we needed to make our stay better. There was even beach gear outside for our use. Much appreciated!

This was our third stay at Clifton, so we and our 2 dogs obviously like staying there. The location is perfect for getting around Matthews as we continue to explore that part of the region. Very nice stay and we look forward to coming back. Bart and Sharon Cameron November 2024

Frank was a great host! We hit traffic and got in super late, and he was very accommodating! We hope to head back in the future when we can actually get to stay longer and enjoy some wine!

Everything was wonderful, beautiful home and spacious. I met Allen when I pulled up and he told me about the home how it was 100 years old and how I used to be several places. and Adam help me with the lock and everything went smooth. Even when the siren went off at 4:50am on Sunday and starting me out the bed there was still a peace and calm lol. The area is beautiful and I would recommend.

This place was absolutely wonderful! The perfect cozy getaway, highly recommend!
