This was a truly beautiful home that was perfect for our week along the coast of Connecticut. The home was impeccably clean and setup with an amazing bathroom and kitchen. Set in a peaceful area north of Niantic, it was a perfect place for my family and I to head out to many coastal adventures. We had close access to Mystic and New Haven with a short road trip to Newport. Jason and Colleen were wonderful hosts and have setup their place amazingly easy to get in and utilize. From the available bikes in the basement to the games my kids quickly found to play, this was a perfect place for us this week. Highly recommend to others looking for a great CT coastline getaway!

Julie is an outstanding host! This house is perfect for any getaway. It was clean, spacious, well equipped, comfortable, and STUNNING outdoor area with a gorgeous pool. This is 3 FULL baths and 1/2 bath!! Two kitchens! Two family rooms! You had space! It made you want to relax! The kitchen was well stocked with any utensil or appliance you would need. It was private. You could really escape and get away. Woodbury and the surrounding towns were jampacked with things to do. There were many places to choose from to eat. Such a variety from steak, seafood, pizza, and American fare pubs and other specialty restaurants. Lots of variety/antique shops, flea market, wine/liquor stores, convenience stores. Just a short drive into Southbury you find more shops, antiques, restaurants, bigger, grocery store, etc. We also drove to a few other neighboring towns. All under 45 minutes. Friendly people! We had a wonderful time! Price is fabulous, house/outdoor area is A+ value! Thank you Julie!!

Judy was a great host and offered us a great stay. She was very responsive and aided us in a wonderful trip. I would definitely recommend.

We came to Norfolk for a show at the Infinity Music Hall. This house was a perfect landing spot to cook dinner before and relax after the show. It was so peaceful watching the snow fall from inside and the kitchen was perfectly stocked with everything we needed to cook. The appliances were top notch, the house was well decorated and we will definitely rent here again!

This lake house was absolutely beautiful! Brought my girls there as a little get away in preparation for my wedding day. Jhismery was responsive so quickly and so accommodating with some questions I had. Stunning view of the lake and the house had this homey feel to it. I would book it again as a weekend getaway again!

Our family opted for a trip to New London to reconnect with our family for Thanksgiving. We were able to utilize the beautiful dining room for our dinner . We loved staying at Rosa’s place and were very comfortable . Just a note - there is only one bathroom and it is on the second floor ( as are all the bedrooms) We made this work but can be difficult with a larger family . It would definitely not deter me from booking again! This place was beautiful. The surrounding area and ease of access was comforting ! Would definitely stay here again .

Josh's place was great. Very comfortable, roomy & clean. The beds were very comfy and the kitchen was beautiful and had all the needed supplies to cook a proper meal. The house is conveniently located being less than 5 minutes down the road from gas stations, restaurants, stop & shop and more, yet perfectly tucked away down a quiet road. We will definitely be back!

We had a wonderful stay! This is our second time staying in the home and both times Mariza was accommodating and great to work with. The house is in a great location on the water and is clean and maintained very well. We plan to stay again in the future!

The space was exactly as described—clean, cozy, and thoughtfully decorated. Everything I needed was provided. The location was perfect, making it easy to explore the area, and it was quiet enough for a relaxing retreat. The communication with Curran was excellent. He was friendly, attentive, and provided great recommendations for things to do nearby. It really felt like a home away from home

Staying at Robert’s place was such a great experience. The property was beautiful, and the surrounding area was calm and scenic making it feel like a perfect getaway. Robert was super responsive and easy to talk to, which made everything smooth from start to finish. It was really nice meeting him in person—he even greeted us in Swedish and gave us a little tour of the place, which made us feel extra welcome. We look forward to come visit again to explore the area more!

Molly's place was GREAT--a total gem for the area. The vibe and layout of the space was sunny, peaceful, and super welcoming. Easily one of my favorite AirBnB's ever--we will definitely be back! The kitchen had everything we needed and the whole apartment felt spacious and roomy, yet cozy. The backyard area is gorgeous! Even though the house is right on main street, the sound isolation was great and we slept well every night we were there (the most comfortable bed EVER also helped). We miss this place already!!

Stayed here for 2 nights with a couple friends. Perfect spot for a quick getaway. Backyard and pool area was exactly what we were looking for with lots of space to lounge and relax. Lots of entertainment if you wanted to just hang inside as well. As some of the other reviewers noted, you can definitely hear the hosts move around upstairs. Didn't impact us too much except for Saturday morning. Was a little difficult to sleep in b/c of the noise.

This was a great place to stay. Jeri was a wonderful host - responsive, kind, warm, and friendly. The place was beautiful, and all the amenities made the stay very pleasant. Fresh eggs and cream in the fridge, along with chickens right outside really set this place apart. Wonderful place, wonderful stay, amazing host.

We had a great stay! It was a very nice place in a safe and quiet neighborhood. Space was clean and well stocked. Host was very friendly and check in was a breeze. I wouldn’t recommend for a super light sleeper, as you do hear the footsteps and dogs barking from upstairs, but it didn’t bother us at all. 10/10 Will definitely consider this location again next time we have an event in Hartford! (oh and there was a super cute and friendly fat cat that would hang outside with us, love that guy)

I was very pleased at the pet- friendly features of this home away from home. There was lighting throughout the edge of the backyard which allowed me to safely take my dogs out before bedtime. We also took short walks in the neighborhood. The area was very quiet at night and I slept very well. I lived in the same city in a different area for years and had never experienced that level of quiet!

William is the perfect host! Super responsive and accommodating. Huckleberry Quarters is adorable and the location is beautiful. This was my second visit and I look forward to returning the next time I’m in Redding!

I didnt want to leave this little cabin in the woods. It felt rustic but had all the modern amenities you would expect in a home. From the rocking chairs on the porch to the comfy beds, there is nothing I could complain about, even if I tried. Marilyn gave excellent suggestions of places to eat and local current events. We left with fall apples, bellies full of clam chowder, and gigantic smiles!!! We have already started planning our return!

Another 5 star stay at Sticks and Stones. I will be back!!

We had a great stay. Johannah had a welcome basket full of fun stuff waiting for us, she came over just to help us start a fire and shoveled the snow for us to get out. We are certainly looking forward to coming back in warmer weather to have that experience as well.

Carrie was very attentive and concerned about giving me the best instructions to make me feel at home. I didn't struggle to check-in and get settled. What ever question or concern I had she would answer me quickly and kindly. I recommend this beautiful place that will make you feel welcome and at home. Thank you for being an amazing host and being extremely caring, and sweet.

Second time staying at this location. Very well equipped (has everything one needs for the stay -- all basic pots/pans and utensils, olive oil/salt/sugar, trash bags/kitchen towels and more). Great perk in booking with airbnb was that the price included bottled water, s'more kit, 3 packs of firewood and starter (which in total was about $50+ worth when purchasing at site). Clean cabin, spacious beds. Although all the cabins around were full, it was very quiet. We stayed at the two-bed cabin and it worked great with our two young kids. Overall, a very easy escape from the city!

We really enjoyed our stay at the cabin. Our pets loved taking long naps by the fireplace. - clean place - responsive host - private and peaceful

Wonderful rustic country house with all amenities. Authentic in every way. We saw wild turkeys and deer in the back yard. The house overlooks a road so there is some car noise during the day but not much. John replied to a text message promptly and resolved a tiny issue we had. The kitchen has EVERYTHING for foodies and there are farms all around selling fresh products. Highly recommended. Only thing to think of is the driveway is steep so in the winter it may be a challenge and the stone stair access is not handicapped friendly so not for those in wheelchair and not easy for baby strollers. Highly recommended for a getaway from NYC.

Absolutely worth staying here! Fruzsi took a chance renting to me as it was my first time using an airbnb. check in was easy the whole weekend had no issues house was as expected the teens I was hosting went out and played basketball. they went walking on the trails. will likely rent again.
