Spacious Comfortable Family Home - Prime Location

Sue’s home was the perfect setting for our family Christmas! Now that the kids are grown and living in other states, it was wonderful to find a home to be able to all be so comfortable under one roof and so close to my parents and extended family in the Midland-Auburn area. Sue had even decorated for Christmas! 🎄 ✨ We arrived late at night in the middle of a snow storm right before Christmas. Arriving at the home was truly a feeling of sanctuary and welcome. The kitchen was very generously stocked with coffee and tea and hot cocoa and so many herbs and spices for cooking. These amenities made preparing our Christmas meals and baking cookies so much easier. I highly recommend this home and was so grateful for the thoughtful communication with the hosts. Hopefully next time we can come in the summer months to visit Dow gardens which is just down the road. You are in good hands if you choose to stay here.

We arrived to a very cute, cozy and clean home! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this home. Jennifer was a great host with excellent communication and went above board to make sure we were well taken care of! We would love to return and stay again!

Beautiful home that gives you an isolated feeling of being in the woods, but is close to anything you can think of, the perfect peaceful getaway. Candy was a pleasure and more worried about my comfort than I was, this was my second stay at her home and already looking forward to staying again next year.

Spotless & Comfortable Near Downtown Midland

Great location, virtually everything you could want to do in midland is a 10 minute drive, or less. I definitely recommend to check out Maru sushi while you’re here [plenty of good vegan options if that’s your thing]. And Live Oak is just around the block for delicious coffee and gluten free brownies. The apartment is cozy, clean, warm even in the middle of December, and had everything I needed to cook my meals. Especially for the price and convenience, highly recommend. A great spot for a solo traveler as I felt safe, or for a couple looking for a quiet getaway. This was my second time staying here and I’m sure I will be back!

Great location to parks and downtown Midland. Neighborhood is quiet and scenic. We had wild turkeys walk through the backyard every evening. The house had everything we needed and was great for unwinding after work. I highly recommend this place and will definitely book again.

Beautiful Cabin on the River near Midland

Lynda and Pat were wonderful hosts. When we got there they greeted us and showed us where we would be staying and had small talk with us getting to know us. Their home was lovely, you get pretty much a whole apartment to yourselves. Lock on bedroom door and bathroom, living room, kitchenette and grill outside. The view from the backyard was amazing, the first day we got there we got to see a bald eagle, and the following morning got to see a family of deers. They do provide almost everything and we were also able to ask for stuff to cook with and they provided it for us. They offer floating on tubes connected to their dock off the river or even kayaking (we sadly weren’t able to just cause it was quite chilly but they did set it up for us) If you’re looking for a lovely cabin getaway this is definitely the place!

Place was beautiful! Had an amazing weekend here, the area was super peaceful and we loved the fire pit at night looking at the stars 🩷 I would definitely book again!
