My partner and I had a lovely stay at Matobo hills. The service was superb, the views were beautiful, and the food was to die for. Would highly recommend!

I booked for my family, and they had a lovely stay and were very well taken care of. They were very pleased with the facilities, cleanliness and friendliness of the host. Great place to stay for large groups.

Shepherd's Retreat Lodge is a wonderful place to stay. The description & photos are very accurate. The rooms are very well appointed and spacious with king size bed, bar fridge, kettle, tea & coffee, toiletries and aircon. There is also a desk and office chair which was very welcome as my colleague and I were in Bulawayo for work. Wifi was not available when we arrived, but was up and running by the following day and worked fine for the rest of our stay. We did not meet Shepherd as he was away - but Chef Wisdom and the Retreat staff were always available and very helpful - even checking us in when we arrived very late after crossing the border and driving to Bulawayo. Wisdom's breakfasts were very generous and tasty - included eggs, bacon, sausage, beans, juice, cereal, yoghurt, tea and coffee and toast. Lunch and dinner is also available on request and the staff were very attentive to any requests. Retreat Lodge is in a quiet neighbourhood with good security. It is located on the outskirts of Bulawayo - so it is best if you have your own transport. But local taxis can be arranged is needed and a trip into the centre of town takes about 20 min. I would highly recommend Retreat Lodge to others. We enjoyed our stay & hope to return again.

Assia is an amazing host, it came natural to her. She was very helpful and caring. I’ll always stay at her place when I’m in Chinhoyi. The photos on her profile unfortunately do not show fully how wonderful it is. Very classy. See for yourself!

Philips place exceeded our expectations - the home and garden are beyond beautiful! Full of character, and the doggos are the icing on the cake, so friendly and affectionate. The guys in the property are welcoming and happy to help with anything and suggest places to visit. I cant recommend Philips home enough, you're in for a treat whilst staying here!

A beautiful place in a decent part of the city. Unreliable electricity but this was not such a big issue. Would happily stay here again.
