A lovely stay in a functional self contained place, great value, beautiful walks on the doorstep. Very comfortable bed and nice shower.! You can hear the family living nextdoor but I quickly got used to it. Nice to have own entrance and patio doors. Loved the river running past the garden! Owners were also very flexible with entry and leaving times.

Lovely cozy room for two. Our room was on first floor with entrance through the back garden. Room was amazingly equipped with cutlery, microwave, kettle and a fridge. Bathroom was very nice with shampoo, shower gel, hair mask and even toothpaste :D A jug of milk and some cereals were such a nice gesture. Thank you!

Jennifer’s home was pleasant and in a quiet neighborhood. She was very prompt with any questions I may have had. The neighborhood was walkable, and safe.

just as described in a beautiful leafy superb, everything you could need. stocked with fruit, yoghurt and muffins on our arrival, lovely touch. some essential item left too, dry shampoo, deodorant, shower gel etc. John and Gail our lovely hosts and made us feel so welcome throughout our stay. Great bus service and uber taxi service to get quickly in and out of Edinburgh Centre. Thank you so much for making our stay exceptional.

Fantastic location with views of the golf course and ocean. Quiet and easy to walk into town. Plus to have off street parking. Apartment was exactly as described and was just what we needed

This is the second time we have stayed here, and I recommend it without hesitation. The hosts are friendly, the accommodation is great, and it is in a perfect location. Nothing to fault, and we fully intend to book again on future trips to Edinburgh.

Great accommodation and lovely hosts. Perfect spot for the endless local mountain biking, walking, coffee and cakes. Wish we had stayed another week!

Colin was a great host and went above and beyond to help us get settled in. The house was very peaceful and the perfect size for our family of 6 over Christmas.

Lindsey is a super friendly, thoughtful and responsive host. The place was cozy, peaceful, warm, and with everything you would need for a short or longer stay.

Rosy and her husband were excellent hosts, friendly and accommodating, and the breakfast pastries were divine! The accommodation is warm and cosy and I particularly liked the underfloor heating in the bathroom. Everything is new and the furniture and furnishings all carefully chosen to compliment each other. The flat is self contained and a short walk from the station, beach and North Berwick town. We were extremely happy with our choice and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.

This place is more beautiful in real life than the photos capture. Fresh flowers, living plants, sweet treats, classy, warm decor all made for an atmosphere we immediately sank into and unwound. The huge garden facing window, and huge modern bathroom (with under floor heating) added to the cozy luxury. The next morning it took the smell of freshly ground coffee to finally coaxed me out of the wonderfully comfy bed, then off for a morning walk. We had the pleasure and honor of Kate’s friendly, and extremely well trained spaniel join us (Beason…you’re a CHAMP❤️). Thank you Kate for the care and warm, kindness we continue to feel from our short stay, it truly was a blessing:).

Wonderful Wonderful Wonderful!!! The location is perfect! Just a 10 minute bus ride from the center, the neighborhood is very quiet and made the walks in the morning/evening very peaceful. You may even see friendly cats wanting to say hello while you're on your walk. The pod itself looked even better in person and was spacious. The morning sunrise and the beautiful night sky from the pod was breath-taking. Margherita made everything easy, she was extremely helpful, she made us feel at home and gave us our privacy as well. We cant wait to book again when we visit again in the future!!! 5 Stars all arounddd!

We were given the warmest welcome by Adam & Victoria on our arrival followed by a guided tour of their charming and pristine annex. We loved our short stay and are already looking forward to returning there again in the future. Tyninghame is a peaceful and pretty village and its central position makes for easy access to the coast and the nearby towns of Dunbar and North Berwick. Edinburgh is only a short 30 minute drive away. Can’t recommend the accommodation and the hosts highly enough and the thoughtful addition of local produce - bread, milk on arrival was a really welcomed. Many thanks, Campbell and Pauline

Absolutely spotless accommodation, with lots of unexpected extras, excellent host, good communication and very flexible. Easy access to Edinburgh and surrounding area by car or bus.

Great place to stay! We decided to stay at Veronique's while visiting Edinburgh and it's surroundings, the day we got arrived it was storming but she was fast to response to my message and let us into the apartment, she was very helpful showings all the amenities and gave us great recommendations on things to do around, we decided to stay one extra night and she answered quickly and helped me extend our stay! Everything is within a 10-15 walking distance from her flat including the main attractions of the city, if I ever come back to Edinburgh I would love to stay at her place again!

La camera + bagno di Shirley è davvero un’ottima soluzione. Pulita, confortevole, ampia e ben arredata. Il bagno pulitissimo e direttamente in camera. Al piano di sotto una cucina accessoriata per ogni esigenza. Inoltre è presente una stanza accanto alla cucina per mangiare con tavoli molto spaziosi e televisione. La posizione è perfetta e si può raggiunge tutto ciò che si desidera visitare. Inoltre la zona fornisce moltissimi servizi ed i Tram/autobus principali si fermano tutti di fronte casa Consigliatissimo!

Wir hatten eine wundervolle Zeit bei Tamsin und David! Die Unterkunft ist ausgesprochen schön: ein separater, lichtdurchfluteter Anbau mit viel Liebe zum Detail. Alles ist hochwertig, geschmackvoll eingerichtet und in bestem Zustand – vom bequemen Bett über die ausreichend dimensionierte Küche bis hin zum poppigen Badezimmer. Besonders beeindruckt hat uns Tamsins Kunst, die in der Unterkunft wunderschön zur Geltung kommt. Die Lage ist perfekt: In zweiter Reihe hinter dem Portobello Beach gelegen, konnten wir abends die Ruhe genießen und schöne Spaziergänge am Strand unternehmen. Gleichzeitig ist die Innenstadt von Edinburgh durch eine fußläufig erreichbare Bushaltestelle in 25 Minuten bequem erreichbar. Die Gastgeber haben an alles gedacht: Der Kühlschrank war mit frischem Brot, Marmelade, Milch und mehr bestückt, und im Bad warteten tolle Bio-Duschgels und Seifen. Parken vor der Haustür war ebenfalls problemlos möglich. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt und kommen sehr gerne wieder!

Mhairi’s place was great to stay at. It is peaceful and quiet with a short walk to the sea. Good parking a short walk away. The location is great to bus to the city center. (Four choices running very often). Mhari was very kind at check in and responsive in chat. We would definitely return here for another stay 😃!

Where to begin - Lindsay and Roberto were hands down the best Airbnb hosts I have ever encountered. If you get the chance to stay in their flat for your Edinburgh trip - DO IT! They were so accommodating and incredible at communication. Their flat was BEAUTIFUL and spotless with gorgeous views of the city. I felt at home with Roberto and Lindsay, which was so important for me on my first solo trip abroad! Their flat was so close to everything in Edinburgh - both walkable and right next to a bus station. I can't wait to stay with them again on my next trip to Edinburgh. Five stars all around!!!
