Our family and I had a wonderful stay at Jackies, we are all originally from maine, and her home gives you everything great about maine. We really felt at home, it snowed christmas eve which made it even more beautiful ( The driveway was plowed out early as well). I brought a small christmas tree with us on our trip up, and when we walked in, the place was decorated for christmas, which was just amazing and so thoughtful. We definitly plan on staying again, the next time we are back in maine. Thank you again Jackie!

Seven stars out of five! We have stayed in numerous places in Maine over the years, and given a lot of five star reviews. This one surpasses them all, hence the off the charts grade. It is incredibly well provisioned, spotless, spacious, inviting, and has an enormous porch with a view so lovely it looks fake. You can't even hear your neighbors, let alone see them. We heard loons, crows, and one very belligerent owl, but not once did we hear our neighbors. The only way you will know the tenant is home, is that a car will park opposite on the side of the house from you. The fire pit makes it easy and convenient to host a fire, even if it is only for 45 minutes or so. Kayaks are provided along with life jackets. At night you can see millions of stars. Place is so peaceful and comfortable, we almost didn't make it into the park haha. We will definitely be back!

A group of us stayed at Camp Lamoine and were impreased with this property! It was close to Acadia National Park and other areas we decided to go. Spectacular yard and even had a place for a campfire! Comfortable inside and would stay again. Thanks!

Our family really enjoyed our stay and Tammie and Matthew's home. We were provided a warm, cozy environment to spend a winter weekend visiting Camden with three generations. The house was superbly clean, had a well stocked kitchen, and had all sorts of touches that made us feel very welcome. We had brought some Chris Van Dusen favorites and those were never even touched because of all the novel Chris Van Dusen books available to our kiddo. Easy stroll (.8mile) to downtown and much much closer to Reny's. We spent one day going all over because we were anticipating a foot of snow on our second day, when the said snowstorm hit, we cozied in the inviting living areas to do puzzles and play Go Fish. Tammie and Matthew were great communicators- would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Chris was very communicative from the beginning. Very peaceful and quiet place. Overall, our experience was amazing. We highly recommend Chris and his place, if you want to have great gateway.

Stayed here a few days while exploring New England. It’s a little bit out of the way for Bar Harbor etc. but we had cars so not a big deal. This place would be perfect in the summer with a family and kids. The single living room heater struggled to heat the whole place once temps dropped to the 50s. The place is nicely decorated and we enjoyed our evenings there.

We two [married (to each other !) since 1968 ] 78-ers thoroughly enjoyed our comfortable 9 -day stay in mid-September at Doug's and Gail's charming rental home in Lubec. All 9 days were sunny! We wouldn't hesitate to return. Our favorite restaurant for lunch /dinner is Fisherman's Wharf and the fish and chips at HD & Sons Seafood comes highly recommended. We had tasty lunch twice at the Breakwater Cafe downtown on Water St. You may find Monica's Chocolates a fun stop. We scored a generous, delish batch of blueberry muffins from Gail for our stay of more than a week. Thank you, Gail! The Keurig and big supply of Arabica pods was a giant winner with our habitual coffee drinker.

A Perfect Lakeside Getaway – Believe the Hype! We were initially skeptical about all the glowing reviews, but after staying at this incredible Airbnb on Pushaw Lake, we completely understand why everyone loves it so much. From the moment we arrived, the house felt warm and welcoming—literally! Despite temperatures dropping to 8°F outside, there were no cold pockets anywhere, making it a cozy retreat from the winter chill. As remote workers, we needed reliable internet, and this place delivered. The WiFi handled multiple video conference calls simultaneously without a hitch, allowing us to work seamlessly while enjoying the beautiful surroundings. The host, Zack, was fantastic—quick to respond and immediately took care of an icy step when we mentioned it. His attentiveness made our stay even more enjoyable. If you’re looking for a comfortable, well-equipped, and truly enjoyable lakeside escape, this is it. We would highly recommend this place and would love to return!

This was a lovely place to stay for our visit to Maine to see the fall colors and Acadia for the first time. Beautiful secluded location, cheaper than staying in Bar Harbor but still easy access to both the national park and Bar Harbor. Comfortable and looked exactly liked the photos.

Beautiful and cozy place and very responsive and accommodating host. Place is 30 mins drive from bar harbor and Acadia . The river down the house is an additional beauty in its own. The place had everything you need. The care the host took for arranging everything is really appreciated.

Katie’s great. Came back this year after wonderful stay last year. Katie’s very attentive to anything we needed. The place exactly as described. Sweet and very small town Maine. Rockland is a hidden jewel.

The loft was very cozy and charming with a great location - close to stores and restaurants but far enough away to be in the peaceful countryside. Lacey’s instructions for arrival were very clear and easy to follow and she was responsive to my messages. I enjoyed coming back to the loft after a day of exploring and being able to pet and throw the ball for one of her dogs 🙂 I would absolutely book with Lacey again, especially in the spring when the farm is coming to life!

Donna’s place was even better than expected. The place was very clean and had everything we needed. Donna was up front about there being no kitchen right away which allowed us to plan ahead and be prepared. The area was beautiful and so peaceful and the huge windows facing the lake were a delight to wake up to each morning. During the days we explored Acadia National Park, just an hour drive away on 1 or 2 roads (always felt shorter) and in the evenings we enjoyed a campfire, stargazing at the end of the dock, and always looked forward to warming up in the hot tub that was always hot and ready for us. This place was perfect for our beautifully cold Acadia winter vacation and felt like a great deal for what we got. I would definitely recommend.

John’s place was absolutely lovely! It was completely spotless and the apartment was beautiful, from decor to the high ceilings and open spaces. He was super helpful and descriptive and we easily found the location and got in. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be rebooking when we are staying in the area again!

Staying here to go into Acadia NP was the best decision of our whole trip. The place was clean and well cared for, and Renee and partner were super friendly. Renee had a ton of little things in the apartment that made the trip/stay so much better. She clearly thought this through very well. My family and I had a fantastic experience and will definitely stay here again if in the area.

We had the most magical engagement weekend ever in this beautiful space. Thank you for hosting with such TLC and being amazing at what you do! HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS SPACE!!!!

Chad responded quickly to a few questions we had and we had no issues whatsoever during iur stay! The place is very private and has a great view of the water and surrounding woods. We never noticed the one neighbor on the other side of the trees and it was just a great place to get away from everything! Beds were comfortable and shower was great! Kitchen and A/C were nice and the big TV was nice to have when we settled in for the night. This is a very cool place to escape to and enjoy peace and quiet.

Place was exactly as advertised. Cozy, quiet and comfortable. Close to Acadia National Park. Plenty of room for my wife and I along with our two dogs 1 coon hound 1 terrier mix. Would definitely stay there again if in the area and recommend to others.

Amazing stay. 20 minutes from Belfast with great restaurants. 1 hour from Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor. The place was very nice and relaxing. I would 100% come back again.

A great private place to stay when visiting Acadia! Only about 40 minutes away from Bar Harbor.

We had a very restful three days at Rod’s lovely cabin. This is a fantastic place to stay for those seeking to experience the midcoast area for what it is (without all the tourist traps and hustle and bustle that you’ll find in Bar Harbor area). Don’t sleep on this gem!

We had a wonderful stay, it was quiet and peaceful. We enjoyed sitting around the camp fire and enjoying nature while only being minutes away from camden. George was very helpful and quick to respond.
