We really enjoyed our anniversary cabin! Such a beautiful view from the sun porch area seeing the river. Loved everything about the place and hope to come back for our next anniversary 😁 The hosts were great! They came and helped us with everything to know about the cabin. Gave us a basket of grapes, chocolate covered strawberries and lilac jelly. Loved the size of the place, perfect for us. Highly recommend the cabin and the hosts! 10/10!

Emily's Place on Indian Lake was on point . The cabin was comfortable, well stocked and extremely clean !! Sitting in the woods was very relaxing. Watching the loons and ducks & stars at night was awesome !! Emily & Chris went out of their way to provide a list of things to do suggestions and places to eat in the area. Definitely a positive 5 star experience !!

Rachel's house was a perfect place to stay for our short visit to Millinocket. It was easy to find...basically equidistant from town and NEOC...and the house cozy and nicely equipped. Our stay was remarkably quiet and peaceful and the views from the back windows/yard were amazing - indeed, the ~6" of snow we received on the final morning provided an idyllic setting.

I booked this winter stay for my husband's birthday weekend. I had hopes of us relaxing at a little getaway and adding some ice fishing for the guys. I could not have been more pleased, the guys walked out the downstairs door right onto the ice, the ladies were inside with the fireplace on doing crafts and simmering soups. The house was so clean, tidy and welcoming, just like I like my house to be for guests. We were all very comfortable and had plenty of room. You could easily come to Brian and Lois's home, with a small bag of clothes, personal items and food. You really need to think of nothing else, it's all there and more. A Perfect Lakeside Getaway – Believe the Hype! We were initially skeptical about all the glowing reviews, but after staying at this incredible Airbnb on Pushaw Lake, we completely understand why everyone loves it so much. From the moment we arrived, the house felt warm and welcoming—literally! Despite temperatures dropping to 8°F outside, there were no cold pockets anywhere, making it a cozy retreat from the winter chill. As remote workers, we needed reliable internet, and this place delivered. The WiFi handled multiple video conference calls simultaneously without a hitch, allowing us to work seamlessly while enjoying the beautiful surroundings. The host, Zack, was fantastic—quick to respond and immediately took care of an icy step when we mentioned it. His attentiveness made our stay even more enjoyable. If you’re looking for a comfortable, well-equipped, and truly enjoyable lakeside escape, this is it. We would highly recommend this place and would love to return!

Beautiful location, accommodating host and very responsive and flexible. The place is a hidden gem right next to the lake. It is in a very secluded setting, definitely worth it.

House was exactly what we needed for 7 people looking to ride snowmobiles. Accommodations were great and you have a grocery store and restaurant within walking distance.

Wonderful Stay in Maine! I just spent three nights at Arnold's Airbnb in Dexter Maine, and it was fantastic! The lake view was beautiful, and the area was so peaceful. The place had a full kitchen with everything we needed, and the bathroom was stocked with plenty of towels for our stay. I loved having a private entrance, too! The place was perfectly clean too. Arnold was a great host and provided a helpful book with tips about the area. Overall, it was a perfect getaway, and I can’t wait to come back! Super recommend it 🙌

Emery and Cindy were wonderful hosts and very welcoming. I stayed at their place for a work trip during July and my husband and son stayed with me. They were very friendly and it felt more like we were visiting family. When I wasn’t working I got to enjoy the peaceful surroundings and the lake. I watched a few sunsets on the dock. Bed was comfy and bathroom was very clean. Would definitely stay here again!

What a gem! Very clean, quiet, well decorated and cozy. Walking distance to a few local establishments. Be sure to check out Appalachian Trail Cafe for breakfast and Blue Ox Saloon for a good time.

Effrem was a great host! He responded to any questions promptly and the place was perfect for our group. I would recommend this stay for anyone looking for a good bit of space and a nice, quiet place to relax in. Everything we needed was there!

This cabin was great! Amazing location on the water with beautiful views. Convenient spot on the property with easy access to restaurant/brewery/New England Outdoor Center. We had a great weekend XC skiing and enjoying gorgeous views of Katahdin. We even enjoyed a beautiful sunset watching a family of bald eagles on the lake in front of the mountain. The cabin was clean, comfortable, and cozy. 10/10 would recommend and stay again.

I loved this stay! Went for my birthday! Very Pet friendly and the host stocked the cabin with tons of necessities, and was very detailed with the things she had for us! Tons of space for your dog to run and play! Very peaceful and private! Dead quiet! Sooo healing for the soul! This was a much needed stay and a 10/10! So many memories were made this past weekend and we are already talking about coming back! Our dog gave it two paws up!

Second time I’ve stayed here, and both times an excellent experience. The cabins are very clean and very comfortable. Hosts are super friendly and accommodating, and the place was quiet and relaxing. Highly recommended, I will continue to book future trips based on the clean and comfortable cabins and great price and friendly and responsive hosts.

My husband, toddler, dog and I had a tremendous stay at Joshua’s camp. The description matched the photos exactly—and quite honestly, the camp is even better in person. We loved our time here, and wish we’d had longer! It’s in a gorgeous location with endless opportunities for hiking (even outside of Baxter SP 🙂) within a reasonable distance nearby. We found it rustic, but it had everything we needed to be comfortable (even when the power went out during a windstorm). Joshua was a very responsive and communicative host, and we would love to stay here again!

Adorable cabin with just what you need and a friendly host! Private, peaceful location. Perfect for a quiet getaway weekend! The area has so much to offer from snowmobiling to ATVing, hiking and site seeing. Check out the local farm stands! Also, Salted Butter Farm in Sherman and Katahdin Brew Works for local food and brews with friendly staff!
