Gorgeous property in a great location, easily walkable from the train station, city centre and bus stops onto the university of Lancaster. Responsive and helpful host. comfortable beds and great facilities. Perfect for a stay with friends or a family.

We spent only one night at Naomi’s place, arriving very late after a family event, but it was a pleasant overnight stay with super comfortable beds and a great shower in the morning. I left a necklace behind and Naomi and Darren kindly looked for it and sent it to me by registered post, for which I am very grateful.

We loved our stay - this is an excellent dog friendly option for those having a short break in The Lakes . The dog treats/blanket and flapjack/chocolate we received on arrival were a lovely touch. The car parking space reserved for the accommodation was a great addition as well. The location is great - between Windermere and Bowness towns - which are walkable or a few minutes in the car. Steve and Vicky were easy to communicate with and ensured all went well during the stay. We would definitely stay again.

We had a lovely couple of nights stay at John & Carmel’s farmhouse. As a group of 6 who studied at the uni together, it was fantastic to have the farmhouse as a base for a couple of days of adventures. The garden area was lovely (especially with the sun we had!) for cards and sun soaking. Inside was spotless and there was everything we needed. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

We had a great 2-night stay at this lovely home. The check-in and check-out instructions were very clear and easy to follow. The place was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. It’s in a great location—an easy walk to the town centre and Williamson Park. We especially enjoyed relaxing in the garden, thanks to the beautiful weather. The host was responsive and helpful throughout our stay. We’d happily stay here again!

We stayed over Christmas. The house was beautifully decorated. Brian and Diane left us a wonderful welcome basket with a loaf of delicious warm freshly baked bread. As hosts, they were so flexible and accommodating, really going the extra mile. The house is beautiful, clean and well kitted out. Rooms and beds are comfy. Bathrooms are pristine. Lovely big living areas to host large groups. Could not say one negative word about this beautiful house or her lovely hosts. Thanks again for everything Brian and Diane.

This was a clean, convenient and cosy base for our few days in Keswick. It is only a short walk from the town centre yet very quiet at night. Elisabeth is a great host providing lots of information about the area and communicating quickly which made everything about our stay very easy and relaxed.

Amazing property! Has everything you need and ticks so many boxes for a group stay - nice and spacious with a bathroom for every bedroom, has a hot tub with incredible views and is in a great location, just a short walk to pubs and shops. Simon is a fantastic host who had good communication with us. This was my second time here and wouldn’t hesitate to come back again. Highly recommend to anyone wanting to stay in Bowness!

What a lovely find. We have been to so many Air BnB's and this one has to be one of our favourites. immaculately clean, lovely location with lambs and sheep right across the road, everything you need for a quiet get away. We will definitely be staying again when we are in the area, thank you!

Alan's place is ideal for a couple. so close to the shops. 10min walk to lake. comfortable bed. two settees to lounge. would definitely stay again

My fiancée, our dog and I stayed with Liz for 3 nights recently. We absolutely adored the property, it was lovely and peaceful, it has wonderful surroundings and it is very peaceful. Liz is a lovely lady, although we didn’t meet with her during our stay, she was always on hand to help us with any questions that we might have had. The property is very modern, very clean and very well equipped. The bed was super comfortable and the shower was fantastic after a day of walking in the sun. Our dog, Mabel, was very happy too. There was plenty of space for her to explore and there is plenty of great walks, such as Ingleton Falls, which isn’t a long drive away. We had no issues with the property, or Liz, and we felt incredibly welcomed. We really appreciate your hospitality and hopefully we will be able to stay with you again in the future. Thank you ever so much again.

We had a lovely stay in the Lakes, the apartment was beautiful with amazing views. Great location, we enjoyed a lovely walk up to The Old Man and then enjoyed an evening in the hot tub. Would definitely come back!

A small but perfectly formed apartment. The steps up to the third floor are so worth it when you see the view from the balcony. Open the doors and sit with the sun on your face. Really comfy beds, well equipped kitchen and a TV with Netflix! You are only a short stroll from the shops and restaurants and of course the lake. A big advantage is the parking space we parked up on arrival then used the bus and ferries for the rest of our stay. Loads of fabulous walks nearby I would definitely recommend this apartment.

Nice flat with good facilities, in a very handy location (10 minutes walk from the Booths supermarket and with on street parking). Hosts were attentive and responsive.

We loved our stay at the rural retreat over Christmas, made more special with some cute decorations and a little gift on arrival which was a lovely touch. The place is set back from the road in beautiful and peaceful surroundings. Our dog loved it too, especially as it’s so close to many convenient walks. Cath and Simon were amazing hosts and so accommodating and friendly. We hope to be back soon when visiting family again!

We had a brilliant 2nd stay at Tom's apartment, it is so well equipped with everything you could need and more. Lovely bedding and spacious bathroom. The sun terrace was a great addition this visit with the lovely weather we had. The view from the apartment is lovely and stunning sunsets just over the road. This really is a top class apartment in a great position and Toms directions and information all show how much is put into making this a perfect place to stay in morecame. The grandchildren love it as much as we do. Thank you for a lovely stay

Lovely luxury modern facilities and everything we needed for cooking treats away from home. A really comfy stay for all of us including our two doggies. Great for them to able to go for a walk right from the doorstep. Quiet and peaceful. Lovely views from a cosy apartment. Thank you so much for facilitating the perfect family weekend away to celebrate a birthday and some quality time together. Great to be both within a stones throw of Kendal for some lovely doggie friendly cafes and one of the best butcher shops around as well as being in the quietness of the countryside.

Our first time using Airbnb and we we felt Glyn went above expected to accomodate our stay. Glyn kindly provided a travel cot and steriliser without us asking which was extremely thoughtful along with welcome gifts for us. We were recommended plenty of places to eat (Cavendish pub in particular was fab). we felt very comfortable here and would recommend to all and stay again.

2nd time using this accommodation in past 8 months. Its very comfortable, well presented and well equipped. Everything has been thought of, there is even provision for a baby. A varied choice for a continental breakfast also a few tins of food, beans, soup etc. A fab chippy directly opposite the property, and Tesco 5 minute walk away. Better than and a more reasonable cost than a hotel. Will definitely use again

The accommodation was perfect for our needs. Beautiful location and very convenient, just off the M6. Very well equipped and comfortable. Ray and Sue were super helpful and friendly. We would certainly consider this again if travelling up this way. Thank you Ray and Sue.

Me and my patenter loved our stay at little 20- we felt right at home! Very comfortable bed which was good after lots of walking, close to bars and restaurants in Windermere! We also used the free access to the spa and gym which was great whilst it rained- would definitely recommend a stay at little 20 :) thankyou Linda & Mike !

Beautifully presented flat and spotlessly clean. All mod cons and everything was in great working order. Great location for walking into Bowness or Windermere centre. Excellent parking too. We found it a little hard to find entry as the main entrance door is to the right of the main door facing you as you enter the parking area (Clare replied very quickly to messages about this). Would be happy to stay again.
