All good, exactly what we needed

Lynn is an excellent host and was very helpful throughout. Aros is a beautiful home in a great location. It has a welcoming feel as soon as you enter. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you need with complimentary tea and coffee making facilities. The rooms are spacious, beds extremely comfortable, plenty of space for the family to relax. We were lucky enough to be visited by a deer in the garden the first morning. What could be better.

Ruth’s cottage was a great property, the cleanliness and ease of access to the property were second to none. We felt right at home and very much enjoyed the homely atmosphere of the house. Would 100% recommend using this property for any group who are looking to visit the island. As a group of guys on a golfing trip it was the perfect location with all courses on the island within a half hour drive and an easy 17 minute journey from the ferry terminal to the property.

We had a wonderful stay in Kate's house recently. The house is really impressive and beautifully presented. More then enough space for our family get together. Kate was always very responsive and nothing was a problem. The house is really adequately stocked with mostly everything you need. Situated in a lovely quiet location but not too far from the town. Also local takeaways deliver to the house which is a bonus. Thanks again! Definitely booking again for another trip soon.

David was a great host allowing us to check in and change plans at very short notice.

We loved our stay at Moira’s. Really cute little cottage, decorated beautifully. It’s positioned right on the west highland way with lots of nearby walks. Would recommend to others.

Couldn’t fault our stay at Silverbank. Andrew was so helpful and accommodating from the get go! The house itself is stunning with an unobstructed view of the water which was beautiful to wake up to even on a windy day. We stayed as a family with extended family staying in other properties but because the house was so spacious we were able to host most meals in Silverbank which was a great way to spend more time together with the family! The kitchen is more than well equipped with coffee machines to blenders!! The overall standard of the place was amazing the beds and bed lined was nicer than most hotels and the place was absolutely spotless. We would love to visit again!

Everything as described, a good host, Therese gave us information about local bakers and some eating establishments which were excellent. We would certainly go again, the weather was in our favour, which was another bonus

A really lovely caravan, very comfortable, with everything you could need. The kitchen has a great stove and all the small appliances. The lounge is a great place to relax. I loved that there are two bathrooms. There were plenty of pillows, blankets, and the bedding was good. No towels, so bring your own. We did not use any of the facilities on the park as we were travelling around all day. However, the people seemed friendly and the park is well maintained. Could use some trees though. Saltcoats is a lovely place and so are many of the other towns around. We loved our stay and Steven is a great host.

Fantastic place for any occasion - House was very spacious, decorated very nicely and the pool in the garage was amazing, plus the outdoor hot tub was lovely! Thanks for having us - highly recommend staying here 🙂

We have just returned from a wonderful stay at no 1 Eaglecroft lodge , it’s cosy relaxed and beautiful style was a true home from home , everything was just perfect , more than we expected, and we enjoyed every single day , we would love to return in the very near future , as we know and love the area so well , and we are already planning and looking forward to coming back to the perfect cosy retreat, peaceful and simply perfection , just what we needed , thank you .

We had a wonderful stay in Drymen! The location was perfect—peaceful and scenic. The accommodation was spotless, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything we needed. It was the perfect base for exploring Loch Lomond and the highlands. Margaret was welcoming and responsive, making sure we felt at home throughout our stay. We especially loved the countryside charm and how relaxing the whole experience was. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a quiet, beautiful retreat in the Scottish Highlands!

Ronald and Trisha went over and above to make us feel welcome including a birthday card and extras for our 6 year old sons birthday. Property is perfectly clean, warm, and has all mod cons required for a relaxing stay. We could not fault anything including our excellent hosts. Thank you so much.

We had a wonderful stay at Andrew and Mary's lodge in Wemyss Bay Caravan Park over the Christmas period. The hosts were welcoming and took the time to explain all aspects of the lodge and its facilities upon our arrival, which was much appreciated. The lodge was spotless, modern, and beautifully decorated, with comfortable seating and a great table for our Christmas Dinner which made it feel like a true home away from home. It was warm and exactly as described on Airbnb. The location was perfect for a peaceful family getaway, offering a quiet and relaxing atmosphere. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a cosy and well-appointed retreat!

We had a lovely stay here. Easily accessible for my granny that was travelling with me. Both the bed and sofa bed were really comfy! Well equipped kitchen and really appreciated the milk and other bits provided. Great location for attending events at the OVO. Would definitely stay again.

Super cottage, perfect for enabling a wonderful stay on Arran. Easy access to both the mainland and all that Arran affords. The cottage was full of character and charm and was perfect for us and our 2 dogs. It had everything we could possibly need, was extremely clean and well equipped.

Had a really lovely 3 nights at Fraoch. My daughter and I settled in straight away and felt comfortable. We had our dog with us and were pleased to see how dog friendly Sheena has made her cottage. The dining kitchen had plenty of space for a meal with 4 friends. The living room is really spacious and has two good sized sofas. The master bedroom is large! 😁 We weren’t expecting the “extras” and very much appreciated them. Fresh flowers were a lovely welcome too. It’s a nice (ample) cottage in a great location for us. We’ll definitely book again. Thank you Sheena.

Argyll Retreat is perfect. If you need to get away from it all, this is the place. This was our 4th stay, 2 wks this time. Me, I could quite happily spend the whole time here, just being in nature & watching the various birds & their eating habits. By the way that is a requirement of staying here, you must ensure the Bird feeders are always filled. The birds will come to tell you if you don't! Everything you need here. Fully equipped kitchen with breakfast bar, bathroom, double bedroom & store room for bags & cases etc. Lounge area is cosy with 2 2 seater settees, coffee table & TV. Best tho is the view from the window here. Looking out towards the Argyll Forest, the mountains, & wildlife. Nearest pub, The Coylet, 5 mins drive. Great food & staff, useful to book. Nearest town, Dunoon. Main rd there's Co-op & further in, Morrisons. Swallows Cafe - lovely food, can get very busy. Shops close on Monday. Boat Shed cafe, rd to Carrick Castle great food, hence gets busy. Inveraray lovely

Had a lovely time staying at The Hen Hoose. The view was stunning while you relaxed in the hottub. A perfect wee getaway for a couple. We were warmly welcomed by the resident chickens as we arrived haha! Colene was a great host and made us feel very welcomed with drink and snacks available upon arrival. Will defnintley be back, thank you for the lovely time 😊

We had an amazing time at Gary and Leah’s place. It’s a beautiful modern home with very well appointed kitchen and nice enclosed outdoor space for us and for our dog - especially good as the sun was shining for our trip. One of the best locations we’ve stayed in, right next to the river and seafront area with beautiful views. Appreciated the speedy response from Gary and Leah and their local contact Iain. We had one issue with a leak from our upstairs shower and the problem was dealt with very promptly and a refund was offered without prompting for the inconvenience. It’s a great home in a stunning location and I would happily return when we’re next in Ayr.

We had a wonderful stay at Balmory Stables. The house exceeded our expectations, with peaceful surroundings and lots of space for the whole family to enjoy, including a garden. It felt lovely and secluded and yet was a short drive from Rothesay and all of the amenities there. The wood burning stove was an added bonus, and made the place feel very homely. Ulrike was a wonderful and very thoughtful host, who even brought some games and toys along so that our young children had something to play with on rainy days. Overall, Balmory Stables is a fantastic place to stay and we would highly recommend it.

Great place to stay for a few days visiting family. Superb area, lovely park within a two - three minute walk. Had everything we needed for our weekend break.
