We are so lucky to have found this home for our weekend in the mountains to attend a family wedding! The location was perfect and our stay was cozy and just what was needed. Everything was abundant—from towels and linens to fresh air and white squirrels! This is truly a special home with great hosts.

Excellent location! Home was just as described and like photos. Easily walkable to the downtown restaurants, shopping and activities in Waynesville.

If you’re looking for a well-kept, comfortable and peaceful place and property for a family get together, this is a must consider. On top of all the wonderful things Asheville offered being only a few minutes drive, we loved going home to this place and have chill time in the outdoor hot tub. It provided us (even our pup) everything we needed for a restful and fun stay. I highly recommend Anne’s house and won’t hesitate to stay again.

This property is stunning. The windows are enchanting and the decor is simple, clean, and modern, but also adorably trendy. You can access incredible hikes nearby and this home is only about 20 minutes from downtown Asheville. One of the most beautiful places I have ever gotten to see, never mind stay in. Also, the host thinks of everything before you get there and is so thorough with directions.

Our extended family of 13 had a peaceful, relaxing, and wonderful stay! The pictures don't do the house/cabin and surrounding property justice. The rope swing, swing, and tire swing were a huge hit with the kids - they were addicted to the rope swing! (Even the teens managed to break away from their tech and play on the creek!) The towels to use for the creek were a nice touch. This location made it really easy to get to Asheville, Black Mountain, and Brevard. It was unanimous that all of us would love to return! It was a much needed retreat and respite for all of us!

This is our family's third stay, and we're a bit biased as we know we will stay here in the future. Ronald and Amy are outstanding hosts prepare for the stay by asking if you have any special requests. There is easy access to an immaculately clean house that is well-stocked with treats. The furniture is comfortable, and with the open layout, conversation throughout the kitchen, dining, and sitting areas is easy. The beds are comfy, the bathrooms are large and clean. The house is easily accessible to downtown and the interstate. It's in a very quiet neighborhood. Lastly, Ronald and Amy check in daily, offering a daily hello and offers of assistance.

Beautiful House! We really enjoyed our stay here. Very convenient location to Main Street. Definitely will be back.

It was such a peaceful stay

i wanted space and solitude and yet close to hiking and downtown. Rodneys place was great for me.

I stayed in one of Carolyn's other properties and loved it. This one, too, did not disappoint. It is very cute, spacious, with all of the amenities I needed. There are extra touches like some snacks, coffee pods and water bottles. I didn't need it, but there was a dog water bowl, blanket, and some dog treats. The bed was very comfortable. Plenty of sheets and towels. The location includes a view of the lake and easy access to walk around the lake. There are lots of great places to eat and shop in the area. I just loved it and look forward to staying again in June.

Cindi was beyond amazing. Best bnb host ive had. Everything was perfect.

Mike was a gracious host who provided a great deal of information regarding local restaurants, attractions and things to do. His place was spotless. He made himself available if we needed any help. The home was just the right size for a couple staying for a few days with enough kitchen amenities to cook some meals. Overall, we had a positive experience. We would recommend Mike's place to anyone staying in the area.

We had a wonderful stay! The place was beautiful, very clean, and came with great amenities that made our trip super comfortable. It was the perfect spot to relax and enjoy the area. Angela, our host, was super friendly and made sure we got checked in smoothly. She communicated clearly and was just a text away if we needed anything. Highly recommend staying here!

Very nice accommodations in a wonderful setting. Tough to beat value! We were very satisfied, and would return in a heartbeat for our next visit to the Leicester area.

This was a great place to stay for my fiancé and I and our three doggos in tow for our engagement shoot. Even though it was downstairs from the host’s main living space, they it felt super private! We felt right at home. The host is super nice and responsive and everything was clean. The hot tub was so nice to come back to after our engagement shoot and gave us some nice time to relax with each other. Easy access and everything felt super cozy! We would definitely stay here again if ever coming back to the area :)

Beautiful downstairs apartment with private entrance. Felt very private from the main house. Beautifully decorated and comfortable. Large space and spotlessly clean! Lots of thought went into everything you might need. Snacks and drinks in kitchen and bath amenities. Bed was comfortable and linens and pillows top notch. Easy walking distance to beautiful Main Street with great food and shopping.

We enjoyed our stay! The cabin was very comfortable and cozy. We loved the fireplace! Kitchen was well stocked. As mentioned in the description, there is a garage on the property with an apartment above where the owners stay occasionally. It is located in a community vs remote, so not uber private but still quiet! We would definitely stay here again.

Perfect vacation home with lovely views and walking areas for our dogs and grandchildren- will come again!

The hosts were very very responsive. Very clean Cabins too. Even though pets are allowed, there was no sign of pets inside, very well cleaned. We had a very small concern, and they were right there the second I messaged them! Very very helpful! We will definitely start booking our family reunion June stays here from now on!

The greatest cabin and host ever! Such an amazing spot and super close to many trails and falls. Also not a bad drive to Greenville as well. Allison and Travis thank you again!

We were not able to actually stay at Lisa’s place because of Hurricane Helene, but will definitely go when we are able! Lisa was a great host, very responsive and helpful!

The Lady and I stayed here in May of 23 and loved it so much we decided to come back (engaged this time otw up). We will continue to come back as long as possible and recommend anyone else to do the same. The surrounding woods are gorgeous and peaceful and not too far away from town or any hiking or sights.

House was great roomy and clean. Great scenery but steeple climb in. Convenient to town. To host only: I am sorry for not reading the checkout email and following instructions. We were late getting in from the volleyball tournament in Cherokee and it was storming badly and very windy. My phone was dead and I plugged it in and went to bed only to wake up to no power.

"Modern cabin" is a modest description ... I would call this a mountain retreat! There were four of us (two couples), but the home would have easily accommodated eight. The design of the house was well thought out and roomy, and the decor was stylish and tasteful. It did not seem like a rental. The kitchen was fully equipped. Thick towels and a bubbly hot tub awaited our arrival, and the Saturday morning scones & hot chocolate were a delightful treat! Perfect spot for a remote get-away, but still just 20 minutes from downtown Ashville and many other attractions. We could not have been happier with this "cabin"!
