ゲストハウスは室内がとてもきれいで清潔でした。間取りも使いやすく、子供たちもすぐに慣れて、我が家のように使用していました。 ホスト様が丁寧に説明して下さり、チェックインやチェックアウト時間も柔軟に対応して下さり、本当に助かりました。 また機会がありましたら、ぜひ利用したいと思っています。ありがとうございました！

The location is perfect. You don't even realize it until you walk the bikan historic district. The space is very comfortable kitchen is well equipped for cooking. Give yourself at least 4 to 5 days here to walk the temple, shopping, dining, and sight seeing. It really is close to everything. Beds were firm, but extra bedding helped to make them softer. Every room has its own temp control. Outdoor areas are easy to access. There is 1 small TV in 1 bedroom, we didn't use it, we used our laptop for movie nights. Japan doesn't seem to be big on closets or dressers, but we made it work for us. I don't like living out of a suitcase personally so we used a basket and the futons. I would 100% stay here again and we were sad to leave as it really felt like a home away from home.

A lovely place with a stunning view. The host picked me up from the ferry terminal when I arrived and dropped me off when I left. They don’t speak much English but they are incredibly kind and helpful people. The island is a truly amazing place, however it can be difficult at times to navigate public transportation there because the buses run quite infrequently. I think I would have enjoyed the experience more if I had rented a car. Warning: be careful if you are tall. I bumped my head on the doorways several times during my stay.

Beautiful cozy house in a great location. It was a perfect place for a family trip with 2 young children. There’s 1 bedroom downstairs and 2 upstairs. Loved that the house came with a washer/dryer combo. The kitchen amenities including soup packets, coffee, and condiment packets were convenient. Appreciated Yuichiro’s quick response and accommodating our special requests. Would definitely recommend this place to others!

We hebben enorm genoten van deze prachtige Airbnb ! Absoluut de mooiste die we op onze rondreis door Japan gehad hebben! De ruimte is met veel liefde en smaak ingericht, en voelt geen huiselijk aan. Alles was zeer schoon, en we kwamen niets tekort. Er lagen zelfs voedingsproducten voor ons als kadootje. Deze ruimte kunnen we iedereen aanbevelen. De host is een bijzonder vriendelijk en zeer gastvrij echtpaar wat je een hartelijk welkom geeft als je aankomt.

岡山駅から歩いて15分ほどで、 途中にある商店街がとてもいい雰囲気で 外出の度にとても楽しめました。 部屋も清潔で調度良い広さで、快適でした。

Khaki was a wonderful host and pottery teacher, he picked us up from the station and dropped us back as well as recommending and driving us to a wonderful restaurant near by. The accommodation was tasteful, well equipped and classy. The barbecue area was fully prepared and easy to use. We loved it !

今回の滞在は本当に素晴らしいものでした！ホストのEeyanさんはとても親切で、質問にも温かく答えていただき、とても丁寧に教えてくれました。お部屋も高級感があり、とても清潔で非日常を味わうことができました。バレルサウナもあり、海と夕陽にフェリーが通っている景色が素晴らしくて感動しました。記憶に残るとても良い思い出となりました。 また、いつか利用させてもらいたいと思います。個人的には本当に星10でした！ありがとうございました。

Everything about our experience at Batonworks was well managed, thought out and considered. Rumiko’s associate, Aoi, picked us up at the ferry, remote control blinds and shades raised and lowered just at the right time of day or night. (They were also easily adjusted and controlled depending on when we wanted to take in the views of the island). The beautifully designed house is conveniently between the two main ports of Naoshima making it easy to both walk or ride bikes to both sides of the island. If we walked it was 15 minutes, if we e-biked, it was 7. Rumiko provides the ebikes. In the entrance hallway/ atrium there is a modern library with books on all things Naoshima and Teshima. There is a very efficient washer/dryer combo. Rumiko was the consummate host from start to finish. She was very responsive and helpful with all our questions and concerns--- I loved this place and hope to return again. Thank you! Andrew
