We had a great stay at West Hawk for a weekend in March with our group of 8. It was a beautiful cabin with amazing views. The hot tub and pool table were a great addition for a winter stay and our group enjoyed the open concept living spaces with plenty of room for all of us. I would recommend bringing all food basics you need if you are planning on cooking in the space as we forgot some things. Overall would definitely come back for another stay, would love to use the dock in the summer.

We had an amazing week. Great cabin with a beautiful view. We had a lovely stay. The only downside is that you can’t really swim off of the dock. It’s a bit weedy. But the cabin was exactly like they said. It has all of the amenities that you will need. It was quiet and very clean. A great rental.

Beautiful cabin with lots of space great scenery right on the lake great place for a group of people to relax. Have fun and enjoy time together. The host was quick to response and great to communicate with. All had a good time!

Everything came as advertised. Our field staff enjoyed their stay. Would recommend.

We had an incredible time at this cabin. The surroundings were stunning, offering complete peace and tranquility. Dianne was fantastic, so accommodating, quick to respond, and genuinely kind. We only wish we could have stayed longer, and we will absolutely return for another stay!

We had the best relaxing stay. The lakefront cabin was all I had hoped for. The Lake was amazing for swimming in and kayaking in. The cabin is rustic but clean and very nicely decorated. We hope to return again soon. Would highly recommend to friends.

Marni’s cottage was perfect! It was in pristine condition. The outdoor space was amazing!! Marni had lots of outdoor and indoor toys for my grandkids. They loved it! The kitchen had everything we needed. Communication was outstanding and Marni was always available for questions. We absolutely loved this cottage rental ❤️

The place is so Beautiful and peaceful woodland island ! The lake access, beach, number of rooms, cleanliness of the home, Laureen made us feel like at home. She friendly and quick to reply to any questions we had. I can honestly to say I will definitely recommend any one going to kenora,Ontario(coney island) to check out this location. Overall, way exceeded my expectations.

This place was a beautiful private island experience. House was nice and fit well with the lake life feeling. Amazing covered and powered boat house that was much appreciated to charge boat and keep it covered and dry during some of the unfortunate rain that came through during the week. Host is very quick to respond and lives on far side of island. They are close enough to respond quickly if needed but far enough away that you can enjoy the privacy of the island life. Would definitely like to return given the opportunity.

The cottage was very comfortable, clean, and had everything we needed. There was a beautiful lake view from every room! It was so convenient to have the additional sleeping cabin available, and so close to town!

Great stay. Easily accommodated my family (me, my wife, toddler and infant), another couple with 3 kids 5 and under and a third couple with a toddler. Beach area was great for all our kids. Only minor issue was the flies (the ones the bite), which were really bad at the water (and we foolishly only had child safe bug spray which did not keep them away) - no fault of anyways, just nature, just wish he had packed some stronger bug spray! We had a great time and will definetly try to get back to this property in the future if it is still available. Igal and Ilana were great hosts and responded promptly to everything. Thanks for having us!

In terms of the property - even better than photos and advertised. Although a medium profile to the lake, was very easy to navigate down with our 1.5 and 3.5 year old. The bay of the lake is so quiet we felt safe swimming/paddle sports without concern for boat wakes or traffic. Beautiful walking trails basically across the road from the property and a local playground (The Glen on maps) for kids to play around. Beautiful home, well stocked kitchen - nothing but good things to say! We have stayed multiple places around Kenora and this is best value we experienced. Host - I booked with Lisa last minute and she was so helpful and accommodating on short notice. A storm blew through town and yet again, she was able to help clear up branches/clear the property almost immediately after notified of the damage. We then had to leave town abruptly and AGAIN she was beyond accommodating and helpful - just a lovely and gracious host, I am so appreciative of her.

Jayden's lake home in Howie Bay on West Hawk Lake is the perfect, peaceful escape for a couple, large family, or group of friends. Our family of six, ages 12 to 70 all enjoyed the beautiful scenery, space to spread out, comfortable beds, screened in boat house right on the lake, large dining room table for family meals & card games, as well as the spacious, cozy living room. Bring your favorite foods, bring your favorite people, and Enjoy! Jayden is a welcoming, friendly, and flexible host. I appreciated his prompt and clear communication. We are hoping to return to Jayden's Airbnb next summer!
