Responsive host and a clean, cozy place. Felt just like home.

We had a wonderful stay at Yu’s place in Kyoto. Please follow Yu’s instructions as the location by Apple and Google maps may show to be slightly different (location is on Yoancho and not on the pedestrian walkway). The home is completely renovated with top notch Panasonic fixtures throughout. Area is convenient on the subway line from Kyoto Stn and beautiful near Gosho (former Imperial Palace).

The resident is only a short walk to Kyoto station and other attractions, very clean and well kept. Surrounding areas are quite at night, it is recommended for family.

I vacationed in Japan for two weeks, moving through 5 different cities, and Shan's place absolutely stood out for two reasons -- The first is that this BnB was just gorgeous. It looked exactly as it presented in the listing's photos. It was a real luxury experience. (And if you are a real stickler for cleanliness like I am, this place will not disappoint). The location was also just incredible. Walking distance to a whole bevy of major sites, as well as being surrounded by amazing restaurants. The second standout, and arguably, more remarkable than the listing itself was the host. Shan was easily one of the best BnB hosts I've ever encountered (and I travel for a living). Exceptionally responsive, Shan took wonderful care of my little sister and I throughout our stay. It honestly felt like we had a friend that we could quickly and easily reach out to for any questions or help. To Shan -- thank you so much for hosting my little sister and I. It was a real pleasure!

It was very convenient for us. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom and toilets were sufficient for our group of friends. The accomodation is interactive with buttons and hidden treasure which sparked our curiosity throughout the stay. Fun and great house to stay in!

Fantastic & authentic Japanese feel. Excellent location, walking distance to everywhere you want to be! Enough for 6 of us (4 kids) & would love to stay again :)

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Wang's lovely home. We really felt like we got to experience a little of what life in a traditional Japanese home is like. The bathrooms were amazing and the location could not have been better. The home was walkable to many major sites and close to public transportation making it easy to tour from our home base. Coming from hotel stays in Tokyo it was nice to have room to spread out a little and we all enjoyed the ability to wash our clothes. This home was a dream come true for this family of four. Wang was helpful in giving detailed instructions for check in - it was a little difficult to find the house the first time because our taxi dropped us off at the wrong house but otherwise everything was smooth and easy.

What a great stay! Beautifully located right along the river, and super easy to get to various spots around the city. Loved the stay. Would book again.

当我们回到成都，所有人都在怀念这栋老房子！大家都觉得因为居住在这栋老房子的体验十分特别，更是在我们的探索中发现了不少惊喜！从而给予我们这次旅行大大加分！房东及时回复消息也解决了我们很多问题（其实有一些完全没有必要叨扰房东）。

- Location, ~15 minutes from the train station, ~15-20 from Gion/Pontocho. 7/11 and grocery store right down the street, quiet neighborhood - 3 showers, 2 Bathrooms, the outdoor area/bath area was a nice touch. The master bathroom was very large. Toiletries were provided. - Rooms were large and separated so even though we had multiple beds in each, there was space Washing machine and hot water took a few minutes to figure out but everything worked just fine.

Excellent place, seems to be brand new !!! Everything was perfect for a large group !!

Beautiful Japanese Ikkodate. Simple but have everything you need. Plenty of restrooms both downstairs and upstairs. The hakoniwa with tea room is amazing! We had great family chilled time there.

This home is beautiful. It’s been recently renovated and it looked, felt and smelled new. The decoration and furnishings were really lovely. It’s in a quiet residential area about 20 minutes from the main shopping and sightseeing area, 10-15 minute walk to station and 3 stops to Kawaramachi markets. It comfortably fits 7 people in 3 different bedrooms, each with their own bathrooms. Appliances and tableware were all high end. It doesn’t have closets in the bedrooms, just a couple of hangers, which seems to be common in Japan hotels. Shogo, our host, was very friendly, super communicative and helpful. Also very generous with his hospitality. This place is not in the middle of the busy sightseeing areas, but it’s relatively central and easy to get to places with public transport. There are also some shops and restaurants in walking distance. Overall, we had a wonderful stay! Very cozy and spacious, and equipped with everything we needed.

Yanbin’s place was perfect. The location worked very well for all the things we wanted to do in Kyoto. The home was clean and had lots of traditional Japanese elements which we enjoyed. It was also well equipped. We were very comfortable and had everything we needed. We were able to do laundry which is very helpful when you have been living out of a suitcase for several days. Yanbin was very helpful with parking and restaurant recommendations. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it.

Had a great stay here! Everything was clean and nice. Bathroom was great. If you're tall, just watch your head so you don't hit it on the low door frames

周边🈶一家叫做永旺的超市和购物商场、离京都站大概步行时间在15分钟以内。按照国人的习惯，这个地方叫做弄堂里。适合全家出游或者闺蜜、兄弟一起出游。性价比高。以后有需要会继续光顾的。

Takeshi was very quick to respond to any questions. The accommodation was very nice, lots of towels available for longer stays, 5 futons, and a kitchen. The living room coach isn't the best, but with all the other amenities it's forgettable. It's 5 minutes away from the nearest station, with two combinis nearby as well. Would highly recommend!

If you are okay with train passing every 15 mins, this is a great place to stay. Great amenities, clean and comfortable house, enough space and cute balcony. Everything around it close very early (5-6pm) but we are okay with it. Host is responsive and direct. I would recommend this place if you are a heavy sleeper like us :)

O local é muito bem localizado, a 3min do trem, do family mart e de templos. A casa é bem tradicional e organizada. As camas são muito confortáveis. A limpeza não estava 100%, mas não impactou a viagem.

Ce logement est confortable, bien équipé, très propre et très bien situé, dans une petite rue calme, tout en étant à proximité d’un site exceptionnel, de charmantes petites boutique de souvenirs et de toutes les commodités.
