We had a wonderful stay in Shingu as a base to explore the surrounding area for a few days. The location is superb as it is just a few minutes from the train station with grocery stores within walking distance. Ample supplies were provided.

We had a brief stay and were very pleased with this property. The location is conveniently walkable from both the bus and train stations. The home offered everything as listed, and the beds were quite comfortable. Check-in was a breeze, and there are plenty of restaurants nearby.

Easy to get to and in a convenient location for food and transportation. Lots of space to relax - overall a great experience!

这个地方地理位置特别棒，去哪里都方便，小城市很招人喜欢，周围的人都很友好。虽然是共同的卫生间和浴室，但很干净。公共空间也非常大，厨房也什么都有。我们因为要赶去一早七点的鱼市，房东还特意让我们晚一些checkout, 并且让我们把行李放到公共空间。人真的很好！特别推荐！临走时给他留下了中国带来的小糖和纸条，希望生意兴隆！

This was such an authentic Japanese home that really felt like we had found a hidden gem. It has so much character from traditional architecture to it's peaceful garden outside. Beds were comfortable and each room came with its own heater making it a cozy experience. It was incredibly peaceful inside without hearing any cars or even noise between the rooms. Bathrooms were clean and spacious. Kitchen was great as well.

Kenji's home was spacious and incredibly clean. It was exactly as described. When we arrived, we met Kenji's mother who showed us how to enter the place. She also walked us through the home and demonstrated how to use the hot water and A/C unit. She was incredibly helpful! My partner and I stayed in Shingu to hike the Koguchi-goe and Ogumotori-goe trails for two days. We started our day by walking to the nearby bus stops and traveling to the trailheads. Because of the home's location, we were also able to finish our days at local restaurants. We plan to stay here again in the future!

Lovely house surrounded by rice fields in a peaceful setting. The room is very comfortable and there were so many little things that made for a wonderful stay. Narako-san is an amazing host - she suggested a couple hidden gems in the area and took to me to see the rice seedlings at the facility she works at which was quite interesting. Highly recommend and hope to stay again one day.
