Clean, pretty room view and a very complete breakfast. All staff is very kind. They drove me to my next hotel for free.

Amazing spot run by an amazing couple in a peaceful town in the mountains. Hope to visit again soon.

Michiko and Miho's place is wonderful. it's essentially a snowboarding hostel run by the family, and has all the charm you could ask for. every breakfast and dinner is prepared, and is AMAZING. everyone gathers in the cafeteria, and after all the guests are fed, the family and staff all eat together. it all feels extremely genuine and unique, especially because it's primarily Japanese guests who stay there. they even provided rental gear, and arranged a ride to nozawa with a resident snowboarding instructor. I'd recommend this stay to anyone looking for a unique and wholesome excursion out of the major cities.

Altitude is an excellent place to stay. Very helpful and friendly staff. It has beautiful views of the mountains. Morning shuttles to the slopes and evening pick ups if don’t want to walk. Large ski/drying room and spacious dining and lounge. Thanks to Kleber, Hero, Ky, Aidan and the team for a memorable stay.

great stay at Altitude Madarao. Justin is super responsive. We were picked up from Madarao Kogen hotel and taken to the lodge which is cosy and warm. hosts kept lodge clean and were happy to answer questions.

とてもフレンドリーなオーナーさんや気配りのあるサービスで大変快適に過ごすことができました。宿泊前からスキーやスノーボードの宅配便を送る関係で連絡をしていたのですが、丁寧で有り難い対応をして頂きました。朝食も和食と洋食とあり、美味しかったです。コロナ禍ということもあり、時間帯を前もって分けたりと感染防止対策への配慮もあり、良かったです。野沢温泉エリアを満喫出来ました、どうもありがとうございました！

I really enjoyed my stay at Nozawa Dream Central. The staff were welcoming, friendly and worked hard to keep the place clean and comfortable. Location is great. It is close to town, bus station and shuttle stops to the gondola. I would love to stay there again when I go back next season.

This is the second year in a row that we've stayed with Rika and Greg. We came back because we knew it would be a wonderful weekend. Location is very close to Ishiuchi ski resort and a short drive from Echigo Yazawa station. There's a really nice onsen just down the street from the house. Rika/Greg have great recommendations for delicious restaurants nearby. The house fits two large groups comfortably with a big common area, nice kitchen, drying room, and a bathroom facility that works well for large groups. To me, that's all I can hope for in an Airbnb. What makes this place the best in Japan is Greg and Rika. They make you feel like family. Always good recommendations, always good stories, and always happy to help. Really looking forward to continuing our annual Ishiuchi tradition and see Rika and Greg next year.

A big thanks to Miho-san and her family! They were always responsive and really convivial. The lodging is as the description, well situated in Nozawaonsen and truly confortable. I sincerely recommend it!

I stayed here for 7 nights for and it was a very special white Christmas! Seongmi and Yoshi are really nice hosts, and made sure I was comfortable. It was so nice getting to know them and having breakfast every morning with other guests, who were also really nice. Seongmi cooked us all a delicious Korean pancake dinner and Yoshi served on Christmas. Amazing experience. The room and over all house was super cozy. I enjoyed reading and writing in the office room space. My room had shared a bathroom and shower, but no one ever used it the same time as I did so it was as if I had it to myself. It was perfect amount of privacy but also social getting to know other lovely guests there. They have connections with onsens nearby which I highly recommend. The hosts were also very helpful with arranging my heavy luggage to be delivered to my next location so I didn’t have to worry about it traveling to my next destination. It really felt like home and I will be back!
