BOOK THIS AIRBNB! My partner, his cat, and I stayed from 2/27-3/2, and it exceeded our expectations. From the moment we walked in, we knew were right at home. The space felt perfect for two, cozy and intimate, though it could work for 2-4 friends. Just note, there’s only one private bedroom. The Queen is in the bedroom along with a twin in the same room. 1 more Twin on the landing, and 2 twins on floor 1. We loved sleeping in the upstairs bed and then taking naps while watching LOTR on the TV in the smaller downstairs beds. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook our meals. We stopped at Coborns on our way from the cities, but Paul and Kathy’s supermarket was great for last-minute items. We also enjoyed using Jill and Joan’s fire pit, with firewood available for purchase at a great price. (In the wagon!) Finally, when the power went out for a short time, the hosts were quick to reach out with updates—it was a short-lived problem with a smooth fix. Thank you so much!

My partner and I stayed at Monika’s quaint little cabin for a getaway to go cross country and downhill skiing last minute. The cabin was super cute and we loved the community cleaning aspect of it! The view of the river is spectacular from every window and we saw Red Polls and nuthatches even in the cold! The location is very private and tucked back. We loved the sauna and it heated up fairly quickly. The bed was super comfortable and had a great view from the A-frame window. Overall, a perfect spot to cozy up after long days skiing. We would love to return in the summer to see river when it’s melted and the trees are green.

What a cozy, comfy spot to enjoy steamy coffee on the beautiful screened in deck porch overlooking lake, fish from the dock or enjoy a bonfire at sunset on a private little beach! Quiet, clean and relaxing- a perfect getaway! We left an item at The Boathouse and Rob had it in the mail the same day! We look forward to a return visit!

We now stay at this cozy cottage yearly for a family, mother/daughter trip. My husband and I are also interested in staying for our own romantic get away sometime. It is the perfect blend of city perks combined with a wooded, lake view natural environment. We also loved enjoying the huge hot tub outside right in the middle of winter. It was a joy all around that we can’t wait to enjoy again and keep recommending!

Can’t beat a beautiful cozy cabin right by the river! Nice to see the stars and hear the water when I stepped outside. Loved the large windows in the primary bedroom. Definitely recommend for a weekend outside the twin cities

We stayed for just a short mini-moon and had a lovely experience. The kitchen was stocked nicely with pots and pans, plates/ cutlery for our needs. The bed was comfortable and blankets were cozy. There was even a fireplace we were able to use with phenomenal views of the lift bridge and the entire city. It felt like we were at the highest point on the hill that still had a great view of the city. We loved our stay and found the decor quite cozy with good vibes. I would definitely stay here again.

We loved Kristian and Joe’s place! It was absolutely amazing and the cutest little tiny home, which when checking in Joe informed us it was a converted office/ tiny home. You would never know, because it’s just so comfy and gives a cabin vibe! There’s lots of gear they provided that my partner and I got to use, specifically the canoe at sunset! Absolutely breathtaking and 10/10 would recommend and stay here again!

Joshua was an excellent host. He was very accommodating! We came to Rochester for Mayo and this place is super super close to Mayo, it was less than a 5 minute uber ride. Lots of nearby restaurants. The bed was super comfy. It was everything we needed and Joshua was a really great host!

This was the perfect little getaway spot! Super clean, quaint, loved the little extra touches throughout the space. There were deer in the yard in the morning and a beautiful view of the lake. It was a great weekend, thank you! (The map coordinates listed got us there perfectly, gps took us to a slightly different location!)

Very beautiful property and cabin as well. Enjoyed all the free heat and natural lighting with the floor to ceiling windows! The tall ceilings made the small space feel more open and not cramped. Warm & light color scents helped as well. Walk in shower was big. 3 ways to shower; rain fall style, hand held shower head, and 3 wall mount shower spray. Downside: 1. No actual cooking range top, but they do offer a 2 electric burner and an electrical griddle. Don’t be expecting to make food in record time. 2. Hot water ran out fast from showering. 3. Closer to the big event venue onsite, so it wasn’t as secluded as the photos would have it. Luckily there was no event on going during our stay. Even with the downside, I wouldn’t even hesitate to rebook for another weekend getaway trip!!! ***We were not able to use the hot tub and solo fire pit due to weather; high winds & cold front settling in.

Couldn't have found a more peaceful retreat. In an area oversaturated with gaudy resorts and the ilk those attract, it was nice to find this much solitude. Thanks for the pleasant stay. My wife and I would love to come back.

This cozy A-frame was the perfect getaway for my fiancé and me before we get married this summer. It was romantic, comfortable, and the layout was playful and fun. We felt like kids again stargazing in the hanging net! Our dog, Moose, loved the trails that start right outside the cabin door, and we especially loved the on site sauna, it was such a relaxing treat. It is secluded without being too far into the dense woods, and close enough to town and plenty of trails and sights to stay busy when you’re not enjoying the peace and quiet that this beautiful stay provides. Absolutely recommend for anyone traveling through the area or just looking to get away from the cities for a recharge ❤️

Stayed here for a getaway weekend with my boyfriend. We had a wonderful experience and made great memories. The view of the lake was beautiful, especially waking up to it. Interior was exactly how it looked in pictures. The stairs were a little small and steep, so be extra careful when going down! The fireplace and heating system warmed up the place pretty quick, making us comfortable and cozy. I would definitely recommend this place to others! It was extremely peaceful with the beautiful snowfall and the sound of waves crashing down, I couldn’t imagine how incredible the view would be in the summer! Thank you for the wonderful stay!

It was a great private stay for 2! Very cozy, clean, and convenient. it was the perfect size for my partner and I. Will defenitely try to be back again!

Loved our stay at the “Cozy Cabin”! And that’s a perfect name. Chris has everything stocked and furnished to make for a very comfortable experience. Especially enjoyed the view out back and even got some snow! We definitely plan to stay here again.

We requested to book this last minute and our hosts responded very quickly. Tom checked in on us shortly after we arrived and explained where everything was and answered any questions we had. We met Stephanie and their pups a few hours later. They were both very nice and if we had any questions or concerns, I would have felt very comfortable reaching out to them (but we didn't need to). I felt that the pictures perfectly represented the tiny home. I didn't notice the Keurig in the pictures, but there was one, which was very nice! We had everything we needed for a short, 2-night stay. We heard the train, but the noise didn't bother us. I wouldn't hesitate to book again if we should visit this area in the future. It was a wonderful getaway!

Better than advertised! Derek and Brandon are the consummate hosts for their unique “cabin” stay. We stayed three nights and still didn’t take advantage of all the amenities (though the indoor sauna and fireplace got good workouts!). Even in wet winter meltdown weather, the place has a little bit of fairy tale to it with a covered bridge and patch of woods for wandering. Summer outdoors would be sublime, but the fabulous sun room gave us the next best thing. We spent a lot of time there reading, relaxing, and peering with our dogs into the forest vista, straining to spot a big buck or porcupine. If you’re looking for a posh spot to get out of the city and enjoy some nature, privacy, and great hospitality, this is a good bet.

We booked this trip the night before and really needed a getaway and Taylor made it so easy to show up and relax. The house is beautiful and it’s in such a quiet area which we loved. I’ve already had tons of friends ask for this listing just from a few photos I’ve posted.

We had a great time in Ely! This cabin was the perfect fall weekend getaway. Can’t wait to come back :)

We really enjoyed our stay at Anne’s place. We loved the upper deck and screened in porch. We met Anne and she is super friendly and helpful. The unit is small but we expected that. We would book it again!

The perfect spot for our trip, had absolutely everything we needed and more. Alyssa and Bryce made our stay so easy and went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed for our first trip to Minneapolis. They gave us incredible tips and recommendations making our need to plan very minimal and still checked all our boxes. The treehouse is perfectly laid out with intentions of making any stay comfortable, convenient and cozy. Will definitely be staying with Alyssa and Bryce again!!
