The whole town of Mintaro is beautiful and very unique and this cottage is no exception. It's a beautiful historic building that felt very unique. The bed was extremely comfortable, the hot tub was an amazing addition and perfect for the end of a long day. The only thing I will say is that the description lists there being multiple cottages on the property but we didn't realise that there was shared walls, and that we could hear the neighbours moving around a little, so it wasn't quite as private as we thought, more like a hotel room where you can hear a little bit of sounds from the rooms around you. This didn't deter us however and we had a lovely trip. The cottage and indeed the whole town has completely charmed us, and we will definitely be back!

Mintaro is a lovely little town. Very quiet and quaint with stone cottages along the Main Street. Mintaro hideaway was gorgeous with stone wall, old style furniture, and a spa bath! Would highly recommend to anyway wanting a quiet and relaxing weekend away.

This was our second time at the cottage and definitely not our last. Ileen is a wonderful host and the cottage is just magic. The surrounding gardens are like a fairytale and there is a cute little cafe just a one minute walk from the back door through the garden (check their opening hours on google maps and don't forget to grab your discount voucher). We were provided with some breakfast foods like eggs, bacon and freshly baked bread and the kitchen has everything you need to cook it up. The host also provided us with some beers, wine, milk and juice at no extra cost which was really nice. Overall this little oasis getaway was worth every penny and we can 100% recommend it.

Thanks for responding so quickly for our last minute stay. We really enjoyed the unique cottage. The town of Mintaro is a hidden gem. The local pub had such lovely staff and friendly locals.

This place will not disappoint, it's actually perfect. The house is ideal for 2 couples or a family with 2 ensuites and a spa bathroom. Complimentary wine, breakfast supplies, beer and cokes, chocolates to name a few...all the little touches and flowers made us feel spoilt. An amazing location, one of the best gardens we've seen and enjoyed and is especially pretty at night with all the garden lights, magical. Stepping distance to the Velvet and Willow pantry where we enjoyed excellent coffee and food and pub across the road 10/10

Beautifully presented 'Cute Cottage' with so many special touches it was as if I had arrived home. Flowers, bread, butter, coffee machine, teas and even some exquisite little choccies !!!! So close to Taylors Winery and a Hotel which has a super Restaurant in the Cellar surrounded by fine wines. Top place. Thanks from us three women who loved our stay. Pity it was only for one night. Peppertree Cottage is gorgeous, located in a peaceful rural setting only 2 min drive from Mintaro. It accommodated my family of 4 and our dog perfectly. All 3 bedrooms were of an extremely generous size. The quaint kitchen had all amenities you could want. The whole cottage was furnished for comfort and in keeping with the setting, it felt warm and inviting and even had homemade goodies and complementary treats on arrival. The little family of kangaroos in the nearby paddock set the perfect scene for our little getaway. Would definitely recommend and cannot wait to stay again.

Beautiful place!

Really enjoyed our stay with Robert. The history of the homestead is very interesting and he was a really attentive host proving quassants and coffee for breakfast. Watervale hotel is amazing as is Paulettes - note stay inside when you eat or wear mosquito spray as I was bitten when we sat outside at Paulettes.

This place was fantastic, overlooking the valley and the winery made for a very peaceful evening after full days exploring the surrounding Clare Valley. I would highly recommend this to groups of friends and make sure you schedule time to pop into the winery. The provisions for breakfast were above and beyond.

Nice place. easy to find and close to the towns attractions. Clean, pet friendly and good size backyard. Lots of little 1 percentage surprises also.

We loved our stay at Sweet Briar in the Vines - was the perfect location for a weekend away with friends. All the bedrooms were so beautiful and unique. The kitchen and verandah was perfect for our afternoon cheese platter and BBQ dinner. The breakfast provided in the fridge was a nice touch. The living room was spacious and cozy. The location was beautiful - a quiet and peaceful home amongst the vineyards. Saw some kangaroos in the morning. We can't wait to go back :-)

A cute cottage surrounded by a beautiful Australiana landscape. Peaceful, and a short drive to Clare. And the jacuzzi was a surprise bonus!

Best nights sleep EVER and beautiful cottage, everything was perfect.😍 Such a magical place in the middle of nowhere- wish we could stay another night 🫶🏻 Make sure to take time to walk the gardens and appreciate the love and care that Andrew and Jean-Claude have poured into the property. The idyllic setting is a perfect escape and wonderful way to unwind

Lovely cottage perfect as a base to explore Clare Valley and surrounds. We loved our getaway and would love to come back in winter as it would be even cosier with a roaring fire. Thanks for all the small touches and hospitality Colleen!

Lovely and spacious cottage. Easy walk into the town and cellar doors are at your doorstep. Would definitely consider staying again if we are heading to the Clare Valley

Quaint Cottage, with everything you needed. Comfy Beds and quality linen. Lots of special touches provided, really pleasant place to stay. Would definitely recommend.

Lovely stay at Lynn's cottage in wine country. Lynn left a lovely basket of goodies and a bottle of wine to help enjoy our stay as well as all the essentials to cook up a feast. She also left eggs and bacon for a lovely breakfast which was appreciated. The cottage is also beside a nice inn if you don't want to cook.
