equipment needed. Plenty of space for all ages.( 84 to 18 month) White goods great for keeping up with washing, drying and washing up. Interesting area to stay if you like Western Scotland. Not for townies! Had a night out at the family ceilidh with friendly locals. Shop had essentials. Need to keep an eye on petrol as nearest at Strontian. Would be interesting to see it in Spring or Summer.

I wrote this in the visitors book but I’ll say it again, if you’re going on holiday it’s only a holiday if you stay somewhere that’s nicer than your house, in my case Blacksmith’s Cottage certainly is. The Cottage smells, looks and feels warm and welcoming. Spotlessly clean, bright, comfortable, well heated and in a great spot, it had everything we wanted. Bonuses for us were having two en-suites upstairs and a third bathroom on the ground floor, an evening sun trap garden and ponies occasionally leaning over the back wall. A short walk into Tobermory for groceries, there’s also the smokehouse just down the lane for delicious smoked trout pate, salmon and cheese. We were lucky to have fantastic weather, so all in all, thoroughly spoilt! Thanks Alison, we hope to return soon.

Very enjoyable stay for a group. The beds were very comfortable. Design was thoughtful and usable with place to hang things, surfaces for placing things, and open space to settle in. It’s a quick, walkable distance to town. The hill is steep so not advisable for those with mobility issues, but we appreciated the exercise.

Een mooie locatie, accommodatie schoon en geweldig uitzicht. Heerlijke ruimte voor een week of weekend weg. De jacuzzi hebben we ook van genoten!

We had a fabulous stay at Elizabeth’s accommodation. Elizabeth was a friendly , helpful host and was able to give us some insight to the area , places to visit etc . The inside of the chalet was homely , spotless and very comfortable with lovely little touches . Elizabeth has thought of pretty much everything in kitting it out . The view is stunning from chalet . Would definitely recommend and will definitely make a return visit 😊

We had a lovely stay at this cosy cabin. It had clean and newly furnished rooms, nice outdoor space, and kind neighbours. The bathroom was a generous size and had good water pressure (always a good feature!). We didn't use the available TV/DVDs, but my littles loved the Jenga blocks and Jacob's Ladder. The dining table is compact & there are only 3 dining chairs, but the outdoor seating has benches for four. The interior dining space wasn't an issue for us as we fed our kids early & then ate later ourselves. The outdoor space was a gem with great sun, & there was a community-made pathway just beside the cabin that provided an easy walk down to the two local hotel/restaurants and into Tobermory. We spent a lot of time outside on the patio green, and met some very friendly neighbours. It's close to the amenities of Tobermory & the community playground, so was great for young kids. Vanessa was responsive, and checkin/out was very easy. We'll definitely look to visit again!

This was our second time staying at croft4. Last time we stayed in the ewe pod and this time we stayed in the stag. 10/10, wanted to stay longer both times! Would recommend to everyone and can’t wait to come back again. Nick and Catherine are very responsive to any messages. The pods are in a lovely location and a short drive to Oban which has everything you would need.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! The place was super cosy and the beds very comfortable. Kitchen has lots of amenities! Location was top tier, only a 15 minute walk to the ferry port to Isle of Iona. Rachel and Matt were super friendly and helpful hosts and very responsive. They kindly came to pick us up when our car broke down on day 1! Highly recommend staying here.

What a fantastic home! We had such a lovely stay here. The house is spotlessly clean, comfortable, is fully equipped with everything you could need for any stay, short or long - the coffee machine was a greatly appreciated feature, it is beautifully decorated and has lovely little touches throughout (my youngest son was obsessed with the leopard lamp in the room they slept in!). The beds are very comfortable with beautiful linen used. The house itself is on a quiet street in such a convenient location for walking into town, or there is a bus stop just a short walk away. Off street parking was a great perk. Lewis and Heather were the perfect hosts. Everything has been thought of. They sent messages to welcome us, to check everything was ok and if we needed anything and also to leave checking out instructions. I would absolutely stay at this home again if I needed to come back Oban. Highly recommend!
