The location was beautiful, specially the deck next to the waterfront. The fireplace warmed up the house. Me. And my family had a very cozy stay!!

We had an amazing stay at Johnathan’s beautiful log home for our hockey weekend! The house was spotless, with stunning views and cozy, comfortable beds—perfect for unwinding after long days at the rink. The space was well-stocked and thoughtfully designed, making it feel like a true home away from home. Johnathan was an excellent host—super responsive, helpful, and accommodating. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommend!

An incredibly beautiful home! It was spacious, clean and had everything we needed. Doug is a fantastic host. We asked if we could get some firewood and within ten minutes he brought some to the house for us. He even installed a baby gate at the top of the stairs so our little guy was safe. This is by far one of our favorite rentals in Wilmington. We are looking forward to coming back soon!

Our stay at Highland Loj for the World Bobsled Championships was truly outstanding. This home offers the perfect combination of seclusion, stunning mountain views, and unmatched convenience. Perched on a hill overlooking Lake Placid Village, it feels like a classic mountain cabin retreat, with breathtaking glimpses of Whiteface Mountain and Mirror Lake, creating a peaceful and picturesque backdrop. The location couldn’t be better—just a short walk to Main Street, where we enjoyed incredible dining, charming shops, and easy access to everything Lake Placid has to offer.

The house was fabulous and exactly as described. It was worth it to pay the extra hot hub winter fee. So close to fantastic ski trails and overlooking a beautiful pond. We will definitely be staying there again!

We had an incredible time here! The location was perfect, and everything in the house was exactly what we needed. It was clean, quiet, and super comfortable. Bill ensured we had everything we needed and was easy to communicate with.

We had a lovely stay. The home was exactly as described—very clean, well-organized, and had a cozy, peaceful atmosphere. The location was fantastic, just a short and easy drive to all the great restaurants, shops, and activities in Lake Placid. It made getting around effortless! Stephanie and Janna were responsive and gave very clear and easy to follow instructions to get inside. A quick note for future guests: be sure to bring any personal essentials like body wash, as not all toiletries are provided. Overall everything was great, and we truly enjoyed our time here. Even got to see a couple of shooting stars! Highly recommend this home for anybody looking for a peaceful getaway.

This cabin was absolutely superb—by far the best amenities I’ve ever experienced in an Airbnb. I had a true fairytale moment: the fire pit glowing, snow gently falling in April, and my favorite people soaking in the jacuzzi. Everything was thoughtfully set up for comfort and connection. I would come back every season if I could! Thank you so much for sharing this incredible place.

Very thankful for a nice place to get away. John is a very kind, responsive host. Neighborhood is very quiet. Hardly any traffic. Beds were very comfortable. Even the bunk beds were super comfy. The kitchen knives were nice and sharp making it easy to cook. There was a very informative binder with local information. We enjoyed our stay.

Jennifer’s place was wonderful and she was a great host. Answered all our questions and the place was clean.

If you are looking for a comfy cabin to stay in, stop looking. You found it! 10/10 cozy, warm and wonderful

Our stay at the ZaLo waterfront cabin was nothing short of peaceful and cozy. The space had everything we needed to make the most of our winter stay. We especially enjoyed utilizing the fully stocked kitchen to enjoy homemade meals and braving the cold to warm up in the conveniently located hot tub. Jon and his family were extremely welcoming and communicative. It’s apparent they take pride in their spaces and truly enjoy making experiences memorable for others.

This was the perfect get away for our honeymoon. we were able to ski in the morning, walk the beautiful property in the afternoon and cook a cozy cabin dinner in the evening. It was private, quiet and relaxing. This will now be our yearly tradition.

My wife and I had an absolutely wonderful stay. Our dog immediately fell in love with the space both inside and out. It was great to have a place to stay with our dog where we didn't have to worry about others around (our dog is a bit reactive to other people), and we could easily go outside and immerse ourselves in quiet, peaceful nature. We wish we could have stayed longer and will definitely have to consider staying again if we come back up to visit the Adirondacks in the future!

My boyfriend and I went for our anniversary. We wanted somewhere quiet, peaceful, and private, and Sherry and Jerry’s home was perfect! Cutest little down town if you wanted to leave the cabin but hanging at the cabin or in the hot tub was the perfect getaway!
