Mirror Lake : locations de vacances

We rented Kristina's place for a hiking trip, and enjoyed it a lot. The surrounding area is beautiful, there's lots to do and we wished we could have stayed longer. The lodging was as described, the photos are accurate, and the views are STUNNING. Watching the weather over the mountain range out the big picture window was GREAT. The kitchen is large, and well furnished. The main dining room table is big enough to play board games, the hot tub is well maintained and easily held 4 adults, the deck is lovely. Beds were comfy. One minor issue, the shower in the en-suite bathroom wasn't working. We contacted Kristina and the owner was there within maybe 30-60 minutes to address the issue. He gave us a temporary solution and that worked fine for the long weekend. We had a great time and would stay again!

We had a fantastic stay at in this remote getaway in the Adirondacks. The property was perfect for us and our dog, which plenty of space to explore and a cozy fireplace to come back to. The drive to Lake Placid is easy and scenic, and the host's recommendations for local spots were great. The host was also very personable and even stopped by to drop off cookies. Overall, a perfect retreat!

La chalet est magnifique, lumineux, tout à fait comme sur les photos. C’était parfait pour une famille de 6 personnes. Les environs sont aussi très beaux, près des montagnes et de la rivière. Nombreuses excursions aux alentours, ski alpin, ski de fond à moins de 30 minutes. Les hôtes sont charmants et proactifs. Je le recommande chaleureusement!

Cynthia was very responsive and flexible with our situation and a death in the family. Her home was perfect for the 5 of us to stay in and be in the beautiful peaceful adirondack surroundings. Thank you so much Cynthia.

A Magical Cabin Experience Our stay at this rustic cabin captivated us from the start. The warm exterior lighting at night created a fairytale ambiance. Spacious and beautifully decorated, the cabin featured a large stone fireplace for cozy evenings. Authentic yet modern wooden interiors, clean and well-maintained, provided everything we needed. The kitchen and dining area were perfect for relaxation. Stepping outside at night, we were amazed by the stunningly clear sky and even caught a glimpse of Orion’s Belt. The outdoor deck and seating area offered peaceful surroundings. I highly recommend this cabin for a relaxing retreat. Whether you’re a couple seeking romance or a family wanting quality time, it has it all.

The photos do not accurately capture how pretty this place is. The home is thoughtfully and stylishly decorated, the beds are very comfortable, and the screened in porch is lovely! We had a wonderful time on Loon Lake and especially enjoyed the canoe and kayaks. There are no homes directly across the lake, and there is a lot of greenery on either side of the home. So the place feels very private. We had a minor issue during our stay, but Mary communicates efficiently and the issue was resolved satisfactorily. We would definitely consider booking this place again!

23 minutes to whiteface mountain ski resort, 9 minutes to lake placid, 7 minutes to Saranac Lake! Perfect location for us to ski a week and tour the beautiful lake area! Sarah’s house is excellent for a couple, two couples or family of 4. Two nice size bedrooms with very comfortable beds and linens! Well equipped kitchen with dishwasher is a plus. Extra towels. Nice dog bed and toys. Fenced big backyard, fire pit, gas grill. We didn’t get a chance to use the backyard since a lot of snow in the area. Can’t wait to come back and enjoy a Bbq when weather is warmer. House is close to main road but not much noise when doors and windows are closed. Check in and out are very easy. You will enjoy this house and the surrounding neighborhood!
