Joan's place is magical — set amidst redwoods within walking distance of the center of Mill Valley, where there are plenty of restaurants, a good bookstore, and delicious coffee. The living/dining area has floor to ceiling windows...more like glass walls, and there's a spacious deck where you can watch the sunrise on a clear day and the stars at night. If you want to stay in a place that feels full of history and stories, there's no better place. This is the second time I've gotten to stay at Joan's for a work retreat, and it has been absolutely perfect both times. And Joan herself is utterly lovely and generous — an added delight to the experience.

Keren and Bejamin's house was the perfect spot for a staff retreat - especially during a massive rain storm over a few days of our stay. The kitchen had everything we needed for making full meals. The bedrooms were very comfortable, and the living room was spacious and accommodating for our small team to work together for the week. The serene setting of the house with large windows offering incredible views made our stay feel like a true retreat. There were tenants who lived below but we never heard or saw anyone so it felt like we were alone on the property. I would rebook our future retreats there without hesitation and highly recommend their home.

Kit was a great host and the home is in great shape!

I visit the Berkeley area often and chose Kate’s place because of the proximity to my destination. I enjoyed how private the Airbnb felt while still being so close to restaurants and shopping. In previous reviews others had mentioned the temperature of the home but I had no problems at all. As long as you follow the very simple instructions from Kate, the home is as warm (or cool) as you wish it to be. The soaking tub was so relaxing and sitting by the fireplace was the perfect way to end each day . I did not cook while I was there but can attest that Uber Eats and Door Dash found the home and door with ease. I would definitely stay here again.

We truly enjoyed our stay! Noah’s house was so thoughtfully organized and decorated. It had everything we needed, and we felt comfortable and at home. Noah was very responsive, though we didn’t have any questions or issues during our stay given that everything was as pictured and described and Noah sent clear and helpful instructions before we checked in. The neighborhood was lovely too. We would definitely stay here again!

Our favorite part of this Airbnb was the easy 3 block walk to the beach and path alongside the ocean offering incredible views. It is also exceptionally clean, comfortable and has a large, well-stocked kitchen for cooking. And while it is located in a neighborhood, the backyard feels very private with a large patio area. We were in town for a medical conference so didn't get to explore the area much but would recommend New Leaf for groceries in Half Moon Bay and exploring Half Moon Bay downtown area. Rita is a proactive host and communicated well. We would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful Eichler home. The house was clean, open and beautifully furnished. Great kitchen for cooking and everything felt clean and well well maintained. It was a great place to stay in the area.

Kevin and Catherine's place is exactly as pictured. They were incredibly responsive during our stay and went above and beyond to accommodate my twin infants. The outdoor amenities for kids were fantastic—super kid-friendly! We’d love to stay again.

This was our second time staying at Tara and Reid's listing while travelling for work. Which speaks volumes of how great their listing and location is, on Potrero Hill! The photos are exactly what it looks like; I'm almost reluctant to shout this out for fear that it'll be booked our next time we visit SF again.

A very cozy place, loved the large windows and the fireplace. Comes with parking too, which is a big plus. Located in a great, quiet neighborhood that's a 15ish minute walk from UC Berkeley (the stadium and Haas in particular). Had a great stay overall, would highly recommend!

Such a cute place! Right in walking distance of beach, food, coffee, and even a little park right near the beach if you bring little ones! I met the owners and they were so sweet and friendly and truly wanted to know if I enjoyed the space. The interior was beautiful and bright! I would highly recommend this spot!

We absolutely loved Jan’s Airbnb! From the moment we walked in we felt right at home. Everything was beautiful and comfortable. One of the highlights was going in the hot tub, which was squeaky clean out on the deck. Jan was so thoughtful and left an umbrella out for us and even ordered more coffee when we ran out. We would definitely stay here again!

Everything as described. Well-stocked kitchen, perfectly capable of cooking meals. Lots of space. ~15 min walk to Berkeley Bowl, which is a great place to pick up groceries. Some reviews mention hearing footsteps overhead; there is an apartment overhead, and the sound is about as loud as you would expect for living in a lower-level apartment. Joe is very quick to respond to questions, which reduces any issues that might come up. I had some problem with the WiFi, and Joe replied quickly to help me troubleshoot the issue. Overall a smooth experience.

We stayed in Casita 1 for two nights and couldn't have been happier. The location was really good. The MacArthur BART station was about 3 blocks away and the AC Transit 57 line provided 15-minutely service from across the street to the Oakland Museum, Chinatown, Lake Merritt, the Grand Lake Theatre, and even more places by transferring. We walked around the neighborhood during the day and from the bus stop around 10pm and felt safe. The directions to check in were very clear and easy to follow. The Casita itself was even better than in the pictures. The colors, textures, and design were beautiful and stylish enough to be in a magazine, but also very cozy and welcoming. We also really appreciated the special touches that put this accomodation over the top. Disposable slippers? Yes! A variety of cool drinks to welcome you? Yes! Mouthwash? Yes! Nespresso and pods? Yes! Earplugs? Yes. Liquid cream for afternoon tea? Yes! I could go on, but you get it. We would definitely stay again.

Heidi’s place is one of my best air b n b experiences. Her house is clean comfortable, snacks and cookware made for an easy transition. The apartment was beautifully furnished and thoughtfully designed. It really feels like she cares about her guests and their experience. The unit is quiet and parking was always right in front. Really nice cafe nearby. Laundry mat was clean and easy to get a machine on the weekdays. I live in oakland but needed a place to stay for a month and it was a mini vacation staying by the lake. A few times I ran into Heidi as she was out walking her dog, she is a joy.

Once you open the door, you are transplanted into a space where a breath is taken and a breath is held. If you are seeking a calmness, this home is the one. Pride of ownership is evident in the furnishings, personal touches and in the whole home itself. Didn’t want our stay to end.

My friends and I stayed at Seaon’s home for about a week and we felt right at home. It was a cozy spot with a beautiful outdoor porch and garden to hang out in. There was enough beds for four adults and a baby. Seaon was very easy to communicate with and also responsive when we discussed anything regarding the house. The neighborhood was fairly quiet during our stay which is always nice. We drove to Oakland, San Francisco, and parts of wine country from the house and found it to be in a good central location. I highly recommend this spot if you are looking for somewhere to stay with your group.

A great stay from start to finish. Any issues encountered were few, minor, and quickly addressed. The unit was nice and well kept, private, and had clear, written instructions upon arrival. Everything we needed was provided, and the hosts were very polite, friendly, responsive, and helpful. Would definitely stay again.

My family (parents, grandparents, and kids) stayed at this great waterfront home in March 2025. My kids loved the heated pool, hot tub, and kayak! We liked the well appointed kitchen and having lots of space to spread out across the five bedrooms. The only downside is that’s it’s a bit on the well used side and could use touch-ups here and there and one bedroom is a loft so we had to be aware of the noise level downstairs. That didn’t stop us from having a great time and using this as our jumping off point to the city (15-30 min depending on traffic) or North Bay for hiking, oysters, and wine.

I loved my stay! Milady was amazing and very welcoming. The house was beautiful and I loved the views.

Can't wait to go back, even though we live in the same town! We had to find a place quickly because we had some damage at our home and Laurie and Bradley were so accommodating and flexible. The property is gorgeous! And I can't say enough about the showers. Every piece of furniture was so comfortable, including the beds (and I am very picky when it comes to beds). The view was spectacular. Besides the incredible amenities, Laurie and Bradley were such incredible hosts and were very easy to reach and super responsive to the many requests we had to extend our stay. I highly recommend their house.

First and foremost, HUGE shout out to both David & Jennifer for being amazing hosts. They were both communicative and friendly and made us feel like honored guests. Second, the location is STUNNING. Especially in the spring I'm sure, but everything was green, flowers were blooming, cows mooing (but not too much!) and I literally had a tear rolling down my cheek when we first walked into the house.. Third, the house felt like HOME. Every detail and nook and cranny seemed intentionally laid out and designed. It felt like we were in a movie. Everything was functional and beautiful, and you just can't ask for more than that. We went up with 2 kids under 10 and an infant and they never wanted to leave the house! The game room felt like a roll back to my childhood and the nostalgia was hitting me hard as we all watched Lion King on VHS! Pool table, amazing piano, expansive backyard and surroundings kept them entertained the whole trip. We cannot wait to be back next year. Cheers!
